For the record, Christina's voice sounds beautiful from G#4 to B4, and tolerable from C5 to D5... but that is where any acceptance that I could possibly have had for Christina's vocal tone ends:
--- Her lower register is almost whispered out of her mouth.
--- Her upper belting is choked, forced, and strained.
--- Her head register just FAILS.
--- Her whistle register is in fact non-existent etc., so G#4-B4 is Christina's natural vocal comfort zone. Yep... that is pretty damn limited. XD
Christina really could have been the second coming of a Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey. The voice is there but the technique and vocally self indulgent personality behind it is horrible. With that being said Whitney wins.

At this point, you don't even have to watch the video to know Christina loses. I thought that her duet with Andrea Boccelli was nice, but nothing compared to anything Whitney does in this clip.

At this point, you don't even have to watch the video to know Christina loses. I thought that her duet with Andrea Boccelli was nice, but nothing compared to anything Whitney does in this clip.
There are actually some some pretty decent clips for Christina, but as usual, the higher she goes, the more she sounds like she's dying.

I'll never understand why people make videos about someone they don't like but i get used to. Anyway Christina really shouldn't belt above B4 because that's when you can hear her really beautiful voice. Anything in 5th octave is already strained when Whitney sounds 100% natural. Christina should use her falsetto instead of chest register. Some of her belts don't sound that bad but recent belts were extremely strained. Comparison between Whitney and Christina is ridiculous. Love the production.

Whitney at 30 is much,much better than christina at 30. xtina was screaming and forcing her notes, and straining too. She needs to learn how to control her voice or she will sound worse than whitney when shes 40.

Whitney slays on every note...she maintains control and support throughout her connected range. It doesn't even need to be mentioned that she has one of the most beautiful instruments in all of pop music.
The polar opposite is Christina...while being blessed with a beautiful instrument..struggles in her production and creates an overall thin and ugly sound.

damn, you can't even say that Christina held her own in this video, she just got totally chewed up, swallowed down, and SHIT OUT by a true vocal goddess. really makes you wonder why there are any comparisons between The Voice (Whitney) and The Noise (Christina) in the first place. Now that i have watched the video, it was almost a landslide victory for Whitney. The Lowe Register Whit Slayed, the Belt, was a complete demolish of xtina and her Fan base. Christina put up a better fight in the headvoice round, but she still lost to Whitney, who IMO has the best headvoice, even now. Great Vid Chimer :). Sorry Christina stans you lose.
