i wish i knew how to videos.. i even invented my own thing.. start from bird base(when you have 2 points up and two down) and you do some squashing and spread squashing... and then you should move the points around on the bottom.... and mess around with the main star.. and you should have an octagon with 4 points overlapping in the center.. and you can flick it and it flies off tables!
Do you have Windows? If yes, you probably have installed Windows Movie Maker; all you need is a videocam and some time for to film/edit the whole thing; believe me, it isn't so difficult!
I think the origami model you have invented and designed would deserve it!
@danbergam hmm.. my dad has the video camera... and i gotta ask my mom about downloading windows movie maker... thnx for the advice :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDlol xD
In second place, if I speeded it up many people being just at the beginning with their own origami experience wouldn't be able to follow... and this is a risk I just want to avoid!
Is this a way to mean that you were not able to finish it?
If that's the case, let me tell you that if you had chosed to peacefully, politely tell me what step you're finding difficult to complete, you would have put me in the right condition to help you!
Life is made of choices: it's up to us to take the right path.
Anyway... if you are asking me how to cut the square from a regular sheet of paper... well, I've drawn it in my wordprocessor (where I can set a perfect square!), then I printed & cut it. :-)
So, I'd say you couldn't be more happy than this; because the 8 pointed star is something I was already planning to do (I'll take me a bit, it'll need a modified crane base and the video itself)!
About the flapping bird... I already have done a video for it! :-D
now i know why in the heart video around the middle theyre was a split second view of the completed product its because u want the picture for it shown as the completed thing
No,not at all, because of the size i think,it stays much more still,i liked it more than the bigger one,the details looks better,if you have time, and spare paper, you could try it :D
I'm not sure:) I'm better at modular origami then regular, but I'd say I'm at high intermidate now:-) and I am going to post another gallery soon, with more models:-) keep up the good work!
I had a request, for modular origami... I'll see what I can do... but I'm sure I'll never be better than you, in that! Your modular origami models are *amazing*! "Another gallery"?! Can't wait to see it!
Wow Daniel this was fascinating to watch and I can't wait to try one of my own. I'm thinking this would be a fun hobby for my Mom as it would help maintain her manual dexterity and she'd have handmade gifts to share with friends :) Thank you so much for the inspiration xoxoxoxox

But, can you see other videos here in YT?
There are some things you may try.
First of all, you could let your browser erase its "temporary Internet files".
You may also check if there is an updated version for the Flash Player installed in your computer.

The great thing with many, many models is that they consist of some repetitions of some steps... and to repeat always helps!
Good for you!
Thank you for your kindness!

with such good vidios you should be at least get one fetured i always wish i could get 1 featured vidio but it hasnt happened yet
1111jony11 3 years ago
You're sooooooooooooooo kind! ^_^
Well, to be featured would be great... but, never say never!
In these days I'm working (in my spare time) on a short movie... I'm slowly approaching the end of all of it... and then it'll finally be up!
Who knows, maybe I'll get featured: but let's never forget that it heavily depends on YT editors' tastes! ^_^;;
Anyway, what matters the most, to me, is people reactions, comments! :-D
I wish you to get featured, btw: always do your best! :-D

Thanks,
