  • awesome! is the engine a deere? little 4 cyl diesil?

  • @dixieunited the pictures showed the original 4 cylinder boxer engine going back in. something like a 1200, 1300 or 1600 cc gas engine, unless its been bored out.

  • outstanding baja bug!! where I work there are hundreds of square miles, each of which having ton of John Deere Tractors. To see a bug with all of that detail is awesome! Hope you dont mind but when my son starts his build, he wants to do a John Deere bug. (he's only 11 lol)

  • @herbienbrian2 the drums are actually off of a fastback. I'm not sure what year but I'm pretty sure it was a '67

  • Take your time and do it right. And make sure you have everything you need before you start. I had so many setbacks because I got in a hurry and screwed up or I wasn't fully prepared

  • nice car! im building a baja bug too on a 74 super beetle but i have a question. I'm getting the same rear offroad bumper that bolts into the fire wall but where does the bottom bolt up, the 2 tubes that go under the engine?

  • Nope no spray paint... All automotive. Base coat clear coat. I won 3rd place at a show in Tulsa ok in sept. It's for sale now if anyone wants to buy it
