  • I've just discovered this song and I looove it! I had no idea Dionne's sister was singing at all. I actually prefer Dee Dee's voice to Dionne's. It is so fantastic and powerful.

  • Bless you Dee Dee... In God's care.

  • This is classic, Wow is right.

  • yes

  • not to take anything away from this song, but i really do LOVE Sublime's kinda 'cover' of this song. but i have to admit the original is great in itself

  • Quiet as it's kept, Dee Dee was the best singer in her family. This is one of her best, and thanks for putting it up.

Too bad I be driving because I would have my eyes closed while moving to the music. I love this song!

  • I came across this song about 32 years ago. It was in the morning on my way to my first summer job. I played everyday for the entire summer. Swore up and down that I sounded as good as her. This was my stuff!!!!

  • remember loving this song when I was a teenager. Love it.

  • This tune peaked at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April of 1969-

I can remember when Dee Dee Warwick debuted this tune on American Bandstand-

  • this is such a cool song! she sounds so much like cissy houston!

  • She always said that herself

  • Oh my God...the tears are flowin'...so so beautiful.Bless you Dee Dee...so much emotion...so much pain.Greatest song ever recorded.Miss you Dee Dee xoxo

  • Dee Dee and Mava Whitney-great women of soul.

  • Love Marva too....Dee Dee was a tremedous talent that got sidelined by her sister.......and she knew it every day of her life..A very talented family that should have done more collaborations

  • gen's cover of this is the best dee dee cover ive seen, so sick!

  • This song is TOTAL DEE DEE. This song brings back so, so many memories. This song should've been a HUGE hit for Dee Dee. What a voice and what a performance.

  • I heard this on my X-M radio the other day and it brought so many memories back to me!!! I love this song...and for all you old school out there who can appreciate this song, go listen to Laura Lee sing. 1969 produced some incredible music!

  • I have listened to this and seen live from my friend.....it doesn't get better than this and I just pray everyday she is feeling the love from the fans who loved her..That is all she ever wanted

  • who's bob slater

  • Back in the day people would bring their records to a party and would label them so that you were sure to get them back at the end of the party.

  • They must have been days of gold.

  • check out sublime's take on this song.

  • i mean goddam does rythm and harmony get much better? could listen to it all day.

  • O'h Lord the memories !!!!!

  • I love this great song.

  • whooo WEE!! I have always loved this song, and God BLess whoever posted it!! WOW!!

  • WAIT! GO BACK AND ADD IN THE BEGINNING! One of the things that makes this so fine is the great 45-second guitar solo-intro before Dee Dee comes in and takes off. Damn, what a great tune.

  • It is sad that after her death, for that one week when people were searching her like crazy, her best song has gotten so little views..I am hoping it is because her fans know this one so well!!!

  • Such a great song. Combines all the elements of musical majesty. Dee Dee so so loved.

  • Can't get enough of this song..It holds its own after all these years...When she would sing it live,it was even better!!!!!
