I would never agree that this is the way forward. A beleiver or a converted person (Moslem, Christian, jew ...etc) doesn't need to make this public. Beleiving in God is a very personal relation. We are moselem, christians etc. because we are borne of parents who are moslem, christians, jews, budist ... etc.
