  • What a beautiful video! Thank you very much! Koji is one of my favorites!

  • アニキ最高

  • Not being disrespectful or anything..... but did i just saw a bald spot on liger on 1:39? :(

  • no that was his hand. but it seems he has a receding hairline from the way his mask have a padding right on top of the dome with only side opening where his hair would hang down

  • Koji Kanemoto is my ideal wrestler . He has it all . Great vid Kyotanahashi (as always) . Music is a bit pansy, but fitting one to use I guess, as I think alot of footage was from G1 Climax (?) . I guess it's supposed to evoke the emotions too, in celebration of Koji being rewarded for his years of dedication in New Japan, by making good showings against the top stars in the heavyweight division (?) .

  • the music he actually used in G1 climx 2006...its only fitting

  • I'd rank Kanemoto 3rd behind Lyger and Tiger Mask #1

  • This song is by a japanese band called "Tube". I dont know the title....

  • whats the name of the song? :]

  • Tear in The Rainbow

  • I miss him and Ohtani just bumrushing dudes just to be snotty punks LOL. The guy never ceases to amaze me.

  • ALOT of WWE/WWF wrestlers have worked in Japan over the years (since forever) . The list is huge . I'm surprised you're a fan of Puro Resu and haven't come across this, BobbyCalvin .

  • Not bad for a guy who has been wrestling for almost 20 years.

  • Awesome video.

Kanemoto is one of the best in NJPW

  • I understand you like New Japan pro wrestling

and that you saw the opening to the 1/04/07 Dome Show OP. I was wondering if you know the song on that video and who was the singer. I you don't know just say that you don't know please. Thank You

  • nope

  • What is the name of this song

  • no but his dad was also he wresteld a dragon gate card

  • was Carlito ever in NJPW

  • and how does this video brought up that logic??

  • just wonderin kuz i thought i saw him on here

  • very unlikely from this video due to the fact that this video tributes Kanemoto's work from 2005-early 2007...and Carlito was selling his soul to WWE at the same time...

  • I wouldn't say kanemoto has the best moonsaults, its just he always connects it perfectly. Great vid by the way

  • 男を感じるわ!

  • まだ結婚せーへんのかな~!!!

  • 涙出そうになったわ!!! 金本浩二!!!最高や!!!

  • man was anybody down with ohtani when he loosin all the time even he was great htoose are some fond times

  • 93-07 great jr action if not the best

  • Kyotanahashi, thank you very much for presenting such a fine video. Kohji Kanemoto is truly an all time great in the Junior ranks. I was very moved with his effort when he fought Satoshi Kojima at the G1 Climax Semifinals. Shin Nihon!!!

  • yes i agree awesome video great spots great music. really good job

  • sweet video

  • Awesome MV, I've only just started getting into Kanemoto.

  • Same here, man. I'd love to see him and Ohtani tag again.

  • You should've seen him when he was tagging with MINORU. Jr. Stars was a great tag team.

  • what song is this and who's the artist

  • Tear in the Rainbow by TUBE

  • his kicks look fake and weak

  • ~That would be thw wwe superstars kicks, not his.

  • Well unlike MMA guys he sin't trying to cripple his opppnents. He's trying to entertain the crowd. I'm also willing to bet if he kicked you in the face you'd think differently.

  • @beta1258 Hahaha Fuckin' awesome comment! Kanemoto kicks the shit out of his opponents and he has a background in Kickboxing and Judo. Tell him to his face that his kicks are fake.

  • Awesome video, I commented on the other one too, but yeah.

  • what tv show is that theme from? . im sure to have listend to it before GREATO video!

  • Hey, Great video!

    Keep it up Kyo!

  • American and Mexican LW's can learn a lesson from NJPW and other LW groups in Japan. I've actually burnt out on TNA's "X Division." Nothing more than spots and bumps now. So much for mat wretling and clinics

  • yeh true it is just spots and bumbps and is entertaining for a while, i mean i can watch joe vs styles vs daniels over and over again

but dont be too harsh on it a mean look at wwes cruiserweight division, theres nothing cruiser about it, the x division was designed to be spotfests if it wasnt it would be like a technical wrestling match and thats never what cruiserweights in american divisions were about

  • thats true sam, but you know... i still have a soft spot for the clinics etc

  • who doesnt though, i would rather wath a technical match at times rather than a spotfest, bryan danielson is a perect example of a good match

  • That's indeed the beautifull thing about japanese LW, they are all-around wrestlers, highflyers, mat based, submissions and powermoves, they aren't onedimensionals.

  • Apparently some of the X Division guys have gotten into trouble for trying to add psychology into the matches as management wants them to just do spots. I mean the guys in TNA (bar Petey Williams lol) are very good technical wrestlers as well as flyers...they just don't get to show it.

  • That's stupid if you ask me, any wrestler can do spots, hell even batista and umaga do them, but having a great ring psychology it's not something easy to find, it makes a match more enjoyable to watch.

  • I agree but apparently guys like Jarret want the X-Division to look like "a computer game". He of all people should know (having grown up in Memphis) that spots will only get the crowd so far into the match. Check out the guys matches in ROH for comparison.

  • Spots get old, look at Jeff Hardy the spot-monkey, the only way he can have a good match is when he does spots, that's the reason most of his matches are boring in my opinion( that and the fact that until 2 months ago he botched a lot of moves but that's another discussion).

  • Exactly. It's really the build to the spots that's the most important part. I mean if you're going to do a dive, build to it by say sliding out...heel slides bakc in..do that a couple of times...then do the dive, it's built a reason for it as it's quicker and more likely to get the heel off guard. Random thoughts. Yes, psych in junior matches is important..even in lucha there's psych/story.

  • Psych is important in all kinda matches, well except maybe hardcore matches, but still they have their own psychology. In the end, you can't have a amazing match without psychology. That's the reason guys like chris masters don't get over, they don't even know the word.

  • And the fact he has the charisma of a dead seal :D Hardcore matches definitely do have psych too, I mean it's all about telling a good story, that's the reason ECW gets over rather than CZW. CZW is hardcore spots strung together rather than working a story through it. That's what draws the audience. Our insightful youtube convo here, lol

  • Haven't watched much CZW, but from what i've heard and one or another video here on youtube they go a little too overboard on the hardcore. I mean i like ECW but CZW is too much for my taste. Being a puroreso fan made me lose the hunger for blood during matches( which is an interesting thing indeed, i've seen matches where the audience's dead during the match, but when they see the colour scarlet they go nuts).

  • Definitely, some crowds are incredibly blood thirsty but it can also heighten the story etc. I pretty much watch everything, very well rounded lol. CZW is bloody awful, they have some decent guys but man TNA books better than CZW which says something

  • If you say so, TNA's booking as of late is somewhat confusing, Sting and Abyss are either best buddies or they're trying to kill eachother.

  • Oh trust me, atleast TNA don't blame their fans for the company's sad state like Zandig did at the last show. Talk about dumb. They're two awful companies lol

  • I wouldn't call TNA awful, Lockdown was a great PPV and they can still change their booking, plus they have a loyal( albeit small) fanbase, they can still improve.
