  • Wonder how many people have unscrewed the complete shut off assembly following this example? IT can happen, then you are in trouble. Plus for the diaphram, vacuum breaker and flush valve to work as designed in this type of toilet you are supposed to have the water pressure at full. You then fine tune the flush by a control under the large cap.

  • yup, im on the wierd side...

  • waterbill goes up more

  • im in job corps in DC and the new dorms have this motion auto flush thing and the toilet flush power is very powerful and loud

  • I don't understand how the fuck anybody could dislike this!

  • @najsbajsmedmajs Some people dislike everything! (...or everything related to poop.)

  • Unless you go into the bushes...like me

  • This goes for all mankind...

  • Thanks. Maybe now, I can get rid of the surprise "presents" I stumble in upon at work... Those toilets are soo weak, they barely flush pee. Thanks for the info.

  • when i drop a deuce it sometimes likes like a got reamed by a football size turd...any help on getting that dookie to flush?

  • thnx, i needed to lower the power on mine at work. helpful!

  • i was just watching cat videos wtf!!

  • @prestige21000 haha I was thinking that but doing it in school

  • this seems like an awesome prank to pull in a public restroom

  • i hate using my toilet its so weak. so if you take a number 2, have a good day flushing it. i need like a pair of jet engine of a boeing 787 to power my toilet with

  • @BlueRice ,OMG,Im ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!! Same here!!!!,,, Allways Bring a Plunger, when visiting,,Id Post some Pics,as My Son and Me Has some Log Offs,,winner bought Lunch,,,If ya get the Mudturtle's Head, 6 inches Out of the lake,,Thats a OFFICAL LAKE SNAKE!!!!!!!!

Agreed with other fellow,,I was watching copper tubing, then went to Plastic, and some guy from Russia!!!??????????? Thanks for the GREAT!!!!!!! Laugh!

  • "...i havent seen your toilet..."

    id hope not o.O

  • Sloan flush valves are commercial valves and inlet to the valve is 3/4 inch direct flow. That is where pressure is comming from compare to standard toilet tank with indirect flow.

  • if your poo gets stuck UP THE POWER

  • THATS AWESOME FLUSHOMETER I HOPE WE HAVE THESE FLUSHOMETERS IN UK.

  • The disadvantage of this, is splashback.

  • @ProgHaven Indeed.

  • This is not the correct way of increasing the toilet flow. The valve that you turned is the toilet shut off and apparently the wrong size diaghram is in place or the plastic ring inside the flushometer itself is upside down. There are different size orfices in them that allow a certain amount of water to be flushed. I work on these toilets every day and have been a plumber for 32 years. I have repaired hundreds. Becareful when working on flushometers.Good luck and have agood day

  • I can't believe how many immature people post comments on these videos. The man is trying to HELP you learn how to fix your toilet...why do you feel the need to INSULT him?

  • @churchpianist1 Thanks for chiming in!

  • it just did the same thing

  • it was better before you touched it...and clean your toilet before you post a video you dirty fucking asshole

  • @odmcarp Now now, no need for the sharp language here; I'm trying to keep this video rated PG-13... And, was my toilet really all that dirty? C'mon.

  • @1more8b4u if you have to ask if your toilet was dirty then you have problems. and the toilet was adjusted properly, so why fuck with it. STOP DRINKING.

  • Firstly: Gross, would it have killed him to have cleaned it first?

Secondly: Thanks for teaching me about toilet flushes, let me teach you about toilet BRUSHES

Thirdly: WOW, it took you almost 4 minutes explaining how to unscrew a bolt.

  • Despite your slightly insulting tone, I did get a good laugh from your comments. Thanks for posting!

  • @1more8b4u o screw them, nice video

  • @Farfromhere001 Thanks!

  • Great! I will try it. I am having trouble with my bathroom water toilet for a month now.

  • You should re-title this "No More Skid Marks!"

  • @thecompanycar Good call!

  • hey uh you got dooky stains you should clean more often man =)

  • Thank you for that quick and easy fix.

  • This guy is making like he's a damn genius, really annoying. That adjustment screw is supposed to do just that. People you don't need alot of water to get a good flush. It's all about toilet design not volume of water, what a waste. American Standard Champion from Lowe's or Home Depot will be the last and best toilet you'll ever buy. It will flush a large sponge, que ball or up to 30 golf balls without a problem and it uses 1.5 gals. of water to do so.

  • @wastelandwarriorwade yes since all people shit a large sponge, a que ball or 30 golf balls

  • No offense, but this guy is making like he's a damn genius, really annoying. That adjustment screw is supposed to do just that. People you don't need alot of water to get a good flush. • I've never seen a toilet without a tank like that one in anybody's house...I've only seen that style in public restrooms.

  • @MSH786 Yeah, I was pretty surprised when my apartment contained a toilet of that design. Hopefully I can film a video soon with tips for the more common tank-style toilet. Stay tuned.

  • are we really getting in a math -toilet combo fight? The internet strickes again!!!

  • Ya because we all have commercial toilets in our homes.....Fail..

  • Standard flushing power nothing to write home about hahaha

this video is great because I haven't found a toilet that can handle me yet

  • Are you in a Target store??

  • How did I get to this video loooll?

  • wow,the speed is SLOWER!

  • Sadly thats a commercial style toilet... household toilets have the "back pot".

Usually those commercial toilets have very good flushing power already

  • I Don't Know Why I'm Whatching this thing

  • @xtremezor I'm thinking the same thing...:)

  • @xtremezor to make your toilet eat your poop faster ^^

  • @xtremezor that's make 2 of us man i guss we bord.

  • @xtremezor funny, i guess your not looking for a power flushing toilet.

  • @xtremezor I agree

  • @xtremezor i agree

  • This kicks ass. Thanks for your contribution

  • why would you flush a puppy?!!!? 0:48

  • OMG NOTHIGN SCARY I THINK I SAW UR SHITS HEAD POP UP AND YOUR VOICE IS SOOOOOOOOOO BORING SHUT UP AND NEVER SPEAK AND WHY U WANNA FUK AROUND WITH A LOO????

  • Who has a toilet in their home with commercial flush fixtures? I've never seen this in a home or anywhere else besides public restrooms.

  • Oh, by the way, that valve doesn't adjust pressure, just volume. It also turns off the water so you can repair the Sloan valve.

  • The first flush looked like it would suck down MY turds.

  • lol I couldn't stop laughing at the video, you have a nice toilet mine is still the old crappy one with the big tank on the back

Thanks for posting this, it came in handy

  • "turn the screw COCKwise"

  • every other word is toilet!! lls

  • cant wait to do this at school

  • @xNotascrubx i was thinking the same thing. though the toilets at my college turbo flush as is.

  • @xNotascrubx YA MAN GOOD IDEA!!

  • yea, my home toilet looks just like that public lavatory modfel. ...guess I was silly enough to buy a standard two model. =/

  • FLUSH POWA!!!!!!

  • stupid

  • ARE WE REALY ALL SAT WATCHING THIS ?????

  • Just waisting more water.

  • @Pioneer4ik No, I wouldn't say so. Sometimes some of us NEED more water to make the toilet perform its intended purpose.

  • @1more8b4u You mean your shit wouldn't sink?

  • @Pioneer4ik So you like the way these toilets operate, today, to save water? A lot of the poop doesn't go down, when you flush these toilets that are manufactured today, which means that the urine isn't either! On top of this, the swirling and the foam, created by the fast flowing water, assures that all feces splattered in the bowl will be washed from the bowl, by the swirling water. Nothing is more disgusting that having to use a toilet and there is still poop laying in the bowl!

  • @Pioneer4ik waters a renewable resource...some of us are tired of dealing with crap filled stopped up toilets!

  • @Pioneer4ik how can you waste sothingg that is neverending water never leaves earth all that hippy crap about "wasting water" a load of garbage and isnt true

  • yea and when it hasent been turned in 10 years and it leaks just screw the cap on and leave it right?

  • why would you be sitting on the toilet while flushing?

  • @tvandbeer Some people do, like if they know they'll need multiple flushes - to flush as they go.

  • @1more8b4u my toilets shit if i sit down on it and flush i get a wet backside lol

  • @tvandbeer Sometimes people have a large deposit to make. Two flushes might be needed.

Also, a courtesy flush in case your better half is in the shower or something.

  • @tvandbeer If you've made a rather large/stinky deposit, you might as well flush immediately as opposed to letting it sit there for a few minutes and stink up the room, right?

  • I'm amused by all the goofy comments about wasting water. This flushometer style toilet is the best at not wasting water-no leaky flapper, no silent overfill in the tank. The amount of water this toilet uses to flush is controlled by a Sigmund diaphragm. Adjusting the volume control makes the same amount of water (not more) flow thru quicker, therefore flushing harder. Kudos to the uploader of this video .

  • @Splungers Thank you for your kind words -- and for your straightforward, articulate explanation. :)

  • @Splungers hahaha retard plumber

  • @Splungers could you please explain "wasting water" we are not on mars here. water evaporates and comes back down. how can you waste it? >.>

  • @grantika445 The home in this video is connected to city water. They pay a water bill.It costs money to use more water than necessary to do the job. This particular toilet uses probably 4 gallons per flush.New ones use 1.6 gallons by federal law. I like this 4 gallon style toilet, it works. The wasting I was talking about was a constant slow leak from a flapper style toilet. Have you ever been called to a home to figure out why the family suddenly has a 600 dollar water bill- for 1 months use?

  • @Splungers If what you said were true, then the second flush would have ended a lot sooner than the first flush. It did not, therefore more water is indeed being used. Over a period of a year, or longer, LOTS more water would be used.

  • @planetrob555 Using the timer on the video, it did end sooner, by nearly 2 seconds .Approx 8 seconds on the first flush, somewhere around 6.5 on the second. The host was talking on the second try and it was difficult to hear the diaphragm shut-that's what matters, not the noises the bowl makes.1.5 seconds quicker would be 19 percent faster.

  • thatd be awesome todo at school turn it all the way up people would be like wtf the toilet just ate ma poop in one bite

  • the water shut off turns the water on or off. The gallons per flush is determined by the diapram used.

  • The water shut off opens or closes the water supply. the diapram kit you use determines the gallons per flush.

  • What is the water use?

This has no benefit unless there's a significant savings of water.

  • @johnlvs2run If you have trouble getting your toilet to flush everything down, then this technique can be of benefit.

  • And WHY would we want to do that???

  • or you could just fill a bucket of water to flush your floater...

  • LOL, a commercial toilet in a house, you have a urinal on the wall also? LOL

It would be fun as hell to really dial up the flush in a public restroom and see what happens to the next user, LOL.

  • wanna do this at school

  • Would work on school toilets but im never doing that...

  • american says it all,, dumb ass

  • no tank?

  • Finally something I care about

  • Would this technique work in an outhouse? :D

  • @fhood Yes, it does! ... I'll film the technique in detail soon. I'm busy having my own outhouse remodeled right now.

  • What kind of toilet is that, it does not have a tank?

  • 1more8b4u,

this toilet isnt a tank type. Its a flushometer. The brass screw you are turning is the angle stop. Not trying to be an ass, just thought youd like to know the correct terminology of the components.

  • That not a domestic toilet

  • couldn't see any difference, all shit to me!

  • Wow, a lot of commenters here would like to give you an upper-decker!

  • Yeah, it's unfortunate. I'd love to know what the problem is, but no one is willing to explain - they just bash the video for no apparent reason. :-(

And I kinda want to film a Part II video to show how to work it for regular tank-type toilets, but I'm hesitant to, for this and other reasons.

  • please do that!

  • This must be a Crane Hymont in this video.

  • loll man

  • i love people like u! u make me all kinds of work! plumbing local 360 and proud!!!!

  • Man I tell ya. When you got one that beached itself like a whale, you need to know this trick! I did the same thing to one at work because I was tired of trying to get that baby down the hole in good time!. It took something like 3 courtesy flushes before, but not now! That log can't wait to go down!

  • you should take a crescent wrench and put it on the outside part where the screw is and loosen that up some too.

  • Thank you for your kind response.

Please elaborate on how I'm misinforming people. The technique worked for me, but I'm no plumbing pro. Maybe you are?

If you wouldn't mind being more polite, maybe you can correct me and clear this up for all of us watching. Thanks.

  • screw MRFASTEROPER

your videos are very informative! I'm actually learning things on youtube!

    Awesome

  • Love these vids! Everyone plz screw with your plumbing, i need a new boat! Love it

  • This would be great to flush my massive dumps down the shitter.

  • Genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what if you don't have a toilet like that?

  • For a regular tank-style toilet, allowing the water to fil up the tank higher/more will provide some extra flush power.

  • 1more8b4u: The tank would still fill up to it's regular height... It would just fill up faster...

  • But you can make it fill up higher than its normal height by either adjusting the cutoff marker/device inside, or manually pressing down the float to keep the intake on. The result is that more water (+power) flushes out with each flush. I use this technique myself and it works.

  • U could shit your brains out on that toilet and not have to worry about blocking it :]

  • there is a reason why that cap is there so guys like you don't touch it. If your toilet needs adjusting call a professional.

  • fuck professionals, curiosity is awesome!

  • damn straight

  • eat more vegetables

  • This is hilarious. dude has a commercial toilet in a domestic house. hahhaha what a fool

  • You want a powerful flush, get a vacuum flush toilet like they use in prisons. Those are powerful enough to dry your toilet bowl in seconds during a flush. But seriously, the thingy you were twisting is called a regulator. Just remember the fast the water moves through the valve the sooner the valve will malfunction. It fails because the water is vibrating to fast as it passes through the valve thus causing the leaky toilet valve effect as you see in some public restrooms.

  • "flush toilet like they use in prisons."

    This.

  • Absolutely. If i can add to that. toilets are not designed to flush depdending on water pressure, they flush with a specified amount, not velocity. If he opens that valve all the way, it would still flush at the same speed, but waste water. The nominal water pressure for those toilets is the equivalent to household toilets. These commercial toilets have less moving parts, and they are predicable. They save water if properly installed, and set with proper GPM setting.

  • Don't airplanes have those vacuum toilets you are talking about? are they the same thing?

  • Be carfull, your toilet may fly away with so much presure.

  • That only works on flushometer suites.

  • damn dont get suced in stuck in the toilet :D

  • blocked. YOU COPYRIGHTED THIS!!! thats why i blocked you.

  • And they're saying gamers don't have a life :D

  • High pressure is not a good thing people. In fact you will cause more damage. Just let it run at 5psi and you will get more years out of your toilet.

  • before it was runnin 5psi now its got 15psi you should take dat shit to da track

  • LOL

    Turbo-charged toilet haha

watch out for your tranny xD

  • if u poo in that the water splashes on ur butt, stupid toilet

  • wow that will be a v8 flush now ya yank fanny

  • 1. no one has these in their homes.

    2. what you adjusted was the stop valve, not a regulator.

    3. you have teflon tape on a compression fitting coming off of the stop, thats a no no.

  • I do..

    I have one..

And on my toilet that cap thing you see in this vid..

On my toilet its actually a handle valve like a cut off valve under a sink.

It wasn't open all the way on mine and when I opened it all the way the toilet flushed so hard the water spilled in circles around and over the rim and splashed all over the floor!! It was cool as hell but after 3 or 4 flushes my bathroom floor was soaked!! lol So I had to turn it down again but i left it stronger than it was set for..

  • anyone with any plumbing knowlegde know who ever made this video is a duche bag

  • u watched the video lol and maybe if you learn a few spelling skills we will take you seriously.

  • yea because everyone has a flushometer on their toilet right? and there is no way to increase the pressure on a tank toilet they are gravity fed.. unless you have a pressure assist toilet

  • it is gonna wear out your plumbing connectors inside sooner if you have higher pressure

  • cheers for that u cunt

  • water is all over its now wastin it is it tbh

  • Whenever I take a dump, it clogs even before I use toilet paper and it makes me so angry; I need a new toilet.

  • ur a water wasting asshole.

  • not really..

think of this and come on we are all guilty of this..

This will sound very familiar in a second or two..

If the shower pressure is low.. it takes you longer to shower!! If the sink pressure is low.. It takes you longer to wash the dishes or your hands..

If the toilet pressure is low Well it just takes longer to do the same thing a high pressure toilet would do.. and probably need to do it in more flushes!! YES??? Its BS what people tell you about low pressure saving water..

  • AMEN! all these tree huggin conversationalists can take a leap

  • soo... its got 500hp now?

  • That didnt work sorry, but I did find another way! (mine has its cistern on the outside)

  • I'll try it later. this video is very informational. thanks for sharing this video with us Toilet fans!

  • yank!!!!!!

    your wasting water asshole

  • Without going into any detail, there are some very legitimate reasons for wanting to increase the flush power of one's toilet. ;-)

  • wow, that was the stupidist thing i have ever seen. nothing like showing people the wrong thing to do and waste a massive amount of water. it works great to cause more water damage when the toilet plugs.

  • You said it, laughingman40,and sodomitesan25. I'm a 21 year plumber and that guy is a Moron.

  • Is the advice I give incorrect, or do you disagree that increasing flush power is something that people should do?

I'm no plumber, so feel free to correct me on my technique.

As for whether or not it's ethical/environmental to increase flush power, if your toilet's always stopping up because of low flush power, then increasing it can solve the problem.

  • sodomitesam25 hit it on the head (huh huh) I wonder how many screwed up toilets will be reported due to this video!!!

What is in this vid. will potentially screw up a toilet like this.

If you have a toilet like this in your home, the Realtor screwed you!!! you bought a worn out school!! hahahahahahah

    Idiot

  • What an incredibly boring man.

Is 'Pimp my Toilet' big in the States?

  • you would only need this if you had proper banging shits

  • who the hell has a commercial toilet in their home?

  • lol true..

  • i wish i did

  • I have to agree, but I have bore witness to such types of toilet combinations/setups

  • @myndenway hahahahahahaha

  • lmao, is it me? or this video was just fast fowarded? xD
