How hard would it be to ship one over from New Zealand or something? Seriously, I WANT ONE. This is like showing porn to a guy who lost his arms in battle on an island with no women.
I purchased this bike about 6 months ago. Absolutely love it. Best thing I have ridden since I rode my brand new Kawasaki Z1 home from the dealers in 1973
Mr. Honda, please bring this bike to Canada. You have my money. I rode the cb750 some thirty years ago and I'd owned a 2002 750 ACE. I love this CB1100, How can I get one?
@snookerash personally i wouldn't expect much, honda never brings the good bikes to canada, the closes we got was 04 and 07 with the cb600 hornets and the 919.
@bloodhay the 919 was such a damn unique bike at that time! such a shame they discontinued it due to poor sales. i think the reason was that the faster CRR's where cheaper. THis bike however is different. If they can sell it less for the price of a CBR in the states and canada. IT might be an unexpected hit. but really it's hard to tell. the market has been very slow right now. what people might be demanding in the future is economical scooters or under bones.
@bloodhay because if gas reaches like 6 bucks a gallon. people might end up riding them scooters that get like 100mpg. of course that will make gas go up even higher though in the end (due to the decline in fuel demand)
Mr. Honda, please bring this bike to Canada. You have my money. I rode the cb750 some thirty years ago and I'd owned a 2002 750 ACE. I love this CB1100, How can I get one!
Given the lineage of this motorcycle I would relish being the 1st. in line to purchase it! Retaining key visual details that harken back to the roots of early Honda sportbikes , & refinement make this CB a no brainer . . . . . EZ
damn! what a piece of ARTWORK! Especially with some of the nice little updates in features. Wish they'd sell this along with the Supercub or Wave in the United States. Hopefuly that will get all of the Technophobic people off their harleys and on to one of these.
Honda , bring it to N America and road racers will petition a class for it ! That in turn will make weekend racers out of every day riders. Don't forget to offer HRC parts at reasonable cost.
What a beautiful machine, obviously designed for the late 40 year old through late 50's crowd, this is the bike I want. Please bring it to the USA, Honda!
I own a TU250 that I bought from a guy who bought it for his wife and she decided not to ride. Great bikes these old classic designs. There is lots of marketing for Sportster 883's in the U.S. - If people knew how great the TU is or the CB1100, they would buy one instead of cruisers and sport bikes. But the whole bad boy Harley image gets pushed and the mean streets sport bike rider. People buy image and not function. But we, we know better! Bring it here to the USA!
I want this bike so much it's starting to hurt...for gods sake Honda stop making crap like the 'fury' and concentrate on YOUR heritage in motorcycling. Bring this to UK/europe and US, then, build a 750 'little brother' to this, then, each year, bring out specials in 70's/80's colour schemes. There you go Mr Honda, your next best seller/cult bike for this era. But what do I know...seriously, I can't believe this isn't on sale in europe the french alone would buy more then they could build.
Damn straight! Who the hell buys a "fury"? Hey, to each his own, but that thing looks like it came out of a box a Crack Jacks. I read Honda is undecided on bringing the CB to the US, Motorcycle sales are down by 25% here and the little great looking Suzuki tu250 only sold for one year and they stopped importing
them. Americans like Harley's, the bigger, the louder, the more "bad ass" you are. You couldn't pay me to ride a Harley, because the Harley culture is embarrassing.
Its coming to Australia deposit already down its cheap enough so i can keep my 900 hornet yee haa retro rocks. All we need now is Casey Stoner on a Honda and my year will be complete. Now remember kiddies stell is real.
I love this bike, for the love of god Honda bring this bike to the UK, I will buy it. If you can't see classic motorcycle design and beauty in this bike it's your problem.
my buddy hada 1975 CB750F we scare to scare the hell out of our High School doing multi-gear wheelies etc...I bought the 1983 CB1100F in 1983 and rode that bike to ovwr 200,000 miles. We still live in Tustin California and would like 2 of these delivered as soon as posible. Bring your camera...
This is what beauty is all about....I own a st1300 "Pan European" (for travelling) but also have a CB750 which is more beautiful and back to basics....Honda , the power of dreams!
If enough people show interest they will sell to US/Europe. Otherwise it will stay in Japan. They want to make sure that their investment in emission compliant engines comes back....
I wonder if they will actually sell this to Americans, or if this is another europe/asia only model? I personally, will buy one the moment it shows up at the dealer. Lack of availabilty of these kinds of bikes in America is driving the sales of antique superbikes(kz1000 cb750f, etc) through the roof!Honda just seems not to get it. The 919 Hornet looked like a spaceship instead of a proper standard UJM.
