It's profoundly annoying to hear people say that space exploration is "too expensive", when space programs makes up less than 0.5% of the total yearly budget.
Please compare that to the trillions we spend on war every year and kindly shut the fuck up.
space is the next war frontier on a conventional war. that is about the only REAL tangible reason U.S. should stay on it. technologies that may be discovered is the second. other than that its a waste of money.
The main excuse is that its too 'expensive' how the hell is something that consumes less than 0.1% of the nations budget too damned expensive when defense consumes far far more than that!
The reason why there is no interest in the Cosmos any more, is because the people are a bunch of fucking idiots! Just listen to these clowns for fucks sake! Holy fucking jumping monkey balls, Dumber than a second coat of pain! We
We don't think it's "interesting" any more because space exploration is no longer a game of Cold War political one-upsmanship. The Soviet Union no longer exists and Russia's space program is not in great shape either. The only country with both the ambition and capability to break new barriers in this area is China, and it'll be decades before they go to the moon anyway.
I think the focus of international competition has broadened and moved on to other areas, and against more countries.
I love the idea of us going to mars, but frankly, I'd rather have a green energy program than a space program. We don't need more Tang. We need renewable energy. There should be a race to get us off of fossil fuels.
@headybrew The only way to long term survival of humans and the biosphere is access to space. The Solar System has resources to feed humanity for millions of years, read "Mining the Sky" bh John S. Lewis.
@linghun I must disagree. Even The technology for large scale travel to anyplace worth living and/or mining for resources is extraordinarily far away. And even if we could transport half the human population to another earth-like planet, our population will double again much faster than we could ever hope to find additional earth-like planets. Short of mastering wormhole technology or something, our only practical hope is to care for the planet we have.
@headybrew You base your opinion on false assumptions. Noboody said humanity must leave the planet, access to space is meant to space probes fitted with manufacturing and mining/ processing capacities, too long to explain here. Besides the only way to care for the planet we have is by going to space. Staying limited to earth = destroying earth. Only by using space energy can we spare our biosphere.
@linghun I agree there are benefits of space exploration. But I also maintain that that is a very long road to travel. More down-to-earth technologies would be much easier to develop. No amount of extra-terrestrial mineral resources is going to stop climate change. Indeed, they could just fuel our consumption and our population growth and cause us to destroy the climate sooner. I have loved the space program since childhood, but I love my planet more. We need a renewable energy "race" ASAP.
@headybrewin in the strict definition of green energy, there currently is no such thing available and will not be until NON-toxic storage cells and distribution paths (wiring) are discovered and developed. The con't exploration of space will solve these problems, unless we QUIT what is perhaps the most efficient agency funded. NASA runs its entire operation with LESS than ONE CENT per dollar of our Fed budget. Is a mere fraction of a PENNY too much to spend on such revolutionary technologies?
@TexianUSA I'm not suggesting we kill off NASA. I'm suggesting that we should have the same or greater passion for developing green technologies as we did in the 50s/60s for beating the Soviets to the moon. The fact that there is "no such thing available" as green energy is exactly what I'm suggesting we work toward changing. How often has we heard it said, "they can put a man on the moon, but they cant xxxx"? If we can walk on the moon, then we can devlop green energy. We just need the PASSION.
I think we have forgotten that the real motivation for the "space race" was the cold war. It was exactly that: a *race*. In this new era, communism has been replaced by terrorism as the big evil boogyman that we are all supposed to be afraid of. If Al Queda were trying to put a man on Mars, then we'd probably be trying to beat them there.
Too bad those sheeple don't know the shadow government has bases on the Moon and on Mars as well as a spacefleet. All paid for with sheep tax dollars.
This interviewer brings up great counter-arguments on the spot! America gave up the greatest opportunity ever for a superpower to gain near total hegemony over the world in the 1990s by failing to launch a program to covertly weaponize space or at least take advantage of their temproary lead in the space race vs. the USSR...no moon settlements...no national space stations? Such a disappointment. China seems destined to control space and thus the future of humanity.
Why doesn't someone tell the truth? The US is to busy destroying its economy, funding usless social programs and giving away money to its rivals and competitors to be able to afford going to space.
@Martialartyogi exactly.. They only wanted to go up so high as to be able to have full control of humanity from above, literally and they can care less about space rocks or advanced civilizations or furthering our understanding.. They want to be the masters of the universe and any other advanced civilization would pose a threat and be considered competition. When are ppl gonna wake up and smell the roses? Oh yea, I forget.. Never.. They'll instead believe in fairy tails and lick boots.....
wow new yorker are retarded. 1 reason we should go nuke war it all over. if we have self effective mars base at least we stand a chance of living on. how do we know time travel can happen. idiot go to cern and find out. I embarrassed of though people. they care more about a pointless stock market then something real,
I hate this reporter? and the people interviewed are close minded idiots..."Oh i want to go home and watch my cinema"....imagine If we were all united in trying to get to mars and beyond instead of killing each-other. The human race is on its way down.
I love the anti-science left that killed the space program, starting with Apollo and every attempt thereafter. Even Russia's Yeltsin managed to keep their space program going during the weak economic times in the 1990s. Obama doesn't even measure up to Yeltsin.
very typical of a 'dumbed-down' population that doesn't even understand how exploring the 'unknown' benefits humankind, but make NO MISTAKE, our military has been and is weaponizing space for its own purposes and 'classified' objectives...the "black" budget is not called BLACK for nothing
@TexianUSA I agree with you. The space project is alive and well -- in the shadow government, which "broke away" from our civilization decades ago. I can't even imagine how much futuristic technology they have available that could benefit mankind if they would only come clean about it.
But that would require revealing that they have used it to oppress us and that isn't likely to come voluntarily.
Besides, they proved that humans can't survive the trip the way they were doing it...
@ramura001 you are one of the only ones who are not only sticking to the topic, but seem a bit more aware of the behind-the-scenes activities than both the other posters who are too focused on the presenter rather than the issue as well as a bit more in tune with the fact that we know long-distance spaceflight is DEADLY and crippling to any human who stay in zero or near-zero G for longer than 6 months. Artificial gravity generation must be done in order to offset this deadly problem.
@TexianUSA Thanks for your comment! On an interesting note, I know of a "friend of a friend" who is in the NASA Mars Project in nanotechnology. It isn't clear to us yet whether he is in the open space program or the secret one, but after Fukushima he, and 43 other scientists, were flown to Australia for some reason connected to the problem. I am dying to know what THAT is all about. Hopefully, figuring out how to stop nano-radiation from spreading in air and water...
@ramura001 that is interesting since 'officially' we only have two 'centers' there, Canberra Deep Space Comm Ctr and the massive Alice Springs complex which does all kinds of things, most of which are classified so I can't discuss that one too much. Japan does have 2 launch sites, Uchinoura pad at Kagoshima Space Center and the pad on Tanagashima Island. I do find it a bit beyond coincidence since it has been the Aussies who have led the fight in getting nano-product labeling laws passed there.
@ramura001 the Gap system is part of the JOINT DEFENCE SPACE RESEARCH program HQ'd at the MASSIVE Alice Springs complex I eluded to and is HIGHLY classified. There are at least SIX "Gaps" that have been mentioned in the public realm. We suspect at least THREE others though, 1 in S. Japan, which is why the CIA/USAID people were deployed there. Just do a web search for 'Pine Gap' to find history/info on them. Remember, with any secret military project, what you see is only the tip of the iceberg!
@TexianUSA Oh, I was trying to think of what you meant, lol. I wish we would split away from the U.S. and become our own country. Or get some people in the White House who know what the hell they are doing, but I don't think that will happen.
this is bullshit...the reporter is very cute tho but the subject wtf. thank god for commercial use. before you know it we will fly everywhere and will have paid live feeds (if there arnt aliens to cover up) with commercial of kfc in between
@Fridaey13txhOktober "Slacker teens"... you're dumb. The acceptability of risk has changed: It is unacceptable for the loss of any human life in the pursuit of space travel. Media coverage of space endeavors usually reaches fever-pitch, against the subject. Bureaucracy has run rampant in the last fifty years, hampering any progress. Safety and accountability measures have increased to levels which make it nearly impossible to do anything. Risk is no longer acceptable.
Well at least USA are 100 times better than those russie in Space Exploration, We put a man on the moon and the russie don't. And i belive soon USA will reach Mars and fully claim it as their land. I am soo proud for being an american and proud of my superior WHITE RACE !!!
@Juggernaut788 They (Russians and Americans) are kinda working together now. Also, you shouldn't forget that China also has great ambitions in space and wants to reach Mars first. I don't know if they can do it before Americans but their economy is already the second in the world and is growing crazy fast...
It's actually more likely that an expedition to Mars will be international (or joint Russian-American, without chinese). Time will show.
do you idiots really think every American is really like this? It's funny how people think America is where the idiots are then the rest of the world is full of intelligent, nice people. LMAO.
Space travel is way beyond the reach of the average person. Interest has dwindled because space is the battleground / playground of massive governmental institutions. People will begin to dream again when the possibility is within their grasp. Companies like Space Adventures and Virgin Galactic are working to bring space flight to the private citizen.
when we havent even scratch the surface.. thats how pathetic the human race has became to focused on being entertained instead of finding out who they really are
@AudioVisualMatter I think the tween reporter, and possibly the mentally retarded editor, are responsible for the mass idiocracy in this segment....like if i did a "man on the street" in moscow it would only be full of homeless drunks and gangster thugs smashing people faces..oh, and all the women on the streets are prostitutes....bad reporting.
@drjacklint Yes, with FIRE and, like, uh, skulls, boobs, and MONEY!! And yet blown-out-of-their-mind drunks, gangstas, and hookers would give even less of a shit about exploring the beauty of the unknown than these "normal people." All the evidence you need to see what people, globally, care about and pay massive attention to is right here on YouTube. All you really need to do is look at the view-count on the most obvious shit. Space isn't going to get us laid, so very few people care.
we need to go into space, wether its cause the military wants to arm space or what ever we need to get out there and figger out what we can, we are increasing technology faster then ever if we dont go into space we are losing one of the world most important industrys, we can argue about the problems on this earth till the end of time we need to give our self a chance, and though it might seem sci-fi to have us living on more then 1 world it will oneday happen so why delay.
It is sad that we stopped trying new things. I wish we used our money for space or for an energy race to discover thermonuclear fusion, solar power - and going to Mars would be super cool. The girl is suer cute too.
The dreams and willingness of space ended when NASA and their like were left in carge of their own PR, and the PR delivered by the lowest bidder and the biggest contributers... and they make it so very very boring. Man, watching grass grow is more stimulating. And we never demanded that every product we've gotten from our space endeavors carry a "Brought to you by Space technologies" tag/sticker; or something like it.
as for this month marking 50 yr anniversary uri did his thing...maybe you should be interviewing russians ...seeing how uri gagarin was a russian... maybe it should be russia spending some cash celebrating his achievements.
how about this...there are more important things to spend money on...
if Obama signed a bill giving NASA 100 billion to do ''whatever'' this reporter would be interviewing americans what they thought about the frugal spending Obama is approving...
all I say is ...suck it.and find another tree to bark up.
obama was talking about new and awesome technology, i swore he was talking about space ships. I'm all for it, i say fuck cars, fuck everything, stop spending your useless money on useless crap and start demanding to get the fuck off this planet, amen
We'll see what these fucks think of this video when a planet splitting asteroid is discovered careening towards Earth,
"Aw shit we should've colonized but too bad we were too worried about some Arabs in the desert and little squares of paper that supposedly represents gold and buys us stuff"
The reason that people don't care about space program is because is so fucking damn stupid! A colonization of a new planet and terraforming it would be a great deal for mankind and would create a hilarious amount of jobs apart for moving people to another place and stop saturating this one.
Make Mars a great place for living would be the greatest achievement for mankind and we still thinking that buying an ipad is better than put money for that. Humanity has no self-respect.
omg this is so funny the system makes people stupid but aware of it enough to say it too that is to funny so we the people know we r being dumbed down but u choose not to do anything about it now that just smells like the dog craped in his own bed and now he is laying in it lets just give up now lets all just kill eachother and not care about saving ur ideas, thoughts or dreams! don't u want to pass down something great to ur kids and then their kids? all for space to save humanity!
@420DEADGIRL The system apparently doesn't teach kids these days how to use something called a "period". It's the little dot I'm putting at the end of my sentences. You might want to learn how to use this incredible feature of the English language! Although, if you did use it, it would be harder to prove your point about people being dumbed down. You definitely just proved it without a doubt.
@lisdop omg that is so funny i didnt really laugh! sounds like ur on ur period would u like a tampoon? for the record there r only 500 characters, so i made the sentences that way! if u can't read them or u have a complaint then take it up with ur local tampoon factory! maybe they can help! oh wait, if u got a tampoon stuck then maybe u can have ur husband or gay lover pull ur string! cause after all ur a puppet & u don't pull the strings! now for the love of god stop trying to pull my string!
Your reply is actually pretty funny; it made me laugh. You showed a glimmer of intelligence there! Congrats!
Honestly, do you think skipping the periods and using dumb "text talk" is actually doing you any favours? Writing like you do simply makes people not bother paying attention to your message, especially starting with "OMG".
I would suggest if you want to be taken seriously, it really is in your best interests to use proper English, or something resembling it.
@Lisdop Who the fuck are you to judge someone when you need to just take your own advise & maybe, just maybe you might find a way to deal with the changes around you! Your becoming a women & your going to be bleeding between your legs & for awhile you will have to have what we call twat plugs to hold the blood! Like I said before you can call your local tapoon factory & they can help you, I promise they can! If others write like that then would U not think that they relate quicker 2 it? LMFAO!!
@420DEADGIRL If you don't want to be judged in a negative way, then I would suggest not to use "dumbspeak".
People form opinions aka. "judge" people on a constant basis. The only way to not be judged is to hide in a hole. Who am I to judge you? I am simply someone who came in contact with you, and therefore formed some kind of opinion on you based on the way you communicate.
By the way, take a look at these comments. How many are using "dumbspeak"? Almost nobody. English would work better.
@Lisdop wow u r a dumb son of a bitch now stop wasting time & go build something like a ship & sail away! who gives a fuck about the way i write but u lol! ur stupid for trying to pick a fight & judge & no not everyone judges cause at least they can get their head out of their ass, unlike u! go explain vortex based math to ppl & see how far u can get, or even tell ppl we can have free infinite energy & see what they tell u! lmfao! i have infinite energy in my home now with a device i made!
@mikemd711 Actually 'favours' IS a spelling valid in proper English. In places you probably never heard of, like Canada, the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, SIngapore, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan,Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malta (in basically every English-speaking country EXCEPT the US). That said, 'favors' is also proper English.
@shmuli9 Bravo Shmuli! Well said. Yes, I happen to be from Canada, and we spell it FAVOUR.
I totally agree about the dumbspell; pretty much every phone has a QWERTY keyboard or auto-complete nowadays. Read: no excuse for writing like that.
Dumbspell is great, because it lets you immediately recognize the intellectuals from the non-intellectuals. Or maybe it's just separating those with some pride versus those without it?
@Lisdop Yes; it drives me crazy. I MIGHT (probably not, but MIGHT) think certain expressions would be all right if they were quite a bit shorter, but sometimes the (lack of) spellings are actually longer than the originals... Yes, and we found out through experience in writing a flyer mailed out to thousands of households that "Spellcheck" (I've heard 'it doesn't matter how I spell; SpellCheck will correct things for me") there are certain words that ARE words [cont'd]
@Lisdop [cont] like "their", they're", and "their"... In the instance I write of, we sent out flyers that said "we promise extensive pubic involvement" when we meant "pubLic", but as 'pubic' is a real word, "Spellcheck" didn't register any wrong spelling... And yes, you're right; of course I don't judge people SOLELY on how they spell, but it's generally pretty indicative of their intellect... ('I dont need 2 no how 2 spel') Oh, and I checked; only 20% of people who text DO spell that way
@mikemd711 "Favour" is how you spell it; that's the proper "Queens english". You Yankees decided to change it for some reason.
"Writing like you do simply makes people not bother paying attention to your message, especially starting with "OMG". - Lisdop
Read it again. It makes perfect sense. PERHAPS maybe it should have gone, "Writing like you do (comma), simply...." The way you wrote it makes less sense to me.
@Lisdop "proper English" like 'rly'? (Last time I looked, it was spelled, in 'proper English' REALLY. And isn't making fun of 'OMG' 'rly' hypocritiacal?)
@Lisdop Oops! Sorry, didn't read your ('UR') comment closely enough, so please disregard my last comment to you... I call it 'dumbspell'. What's even more amusing, is that perhaps spelling like that ten years ago might have made sense, but as virtually all phones in the last 2 years have had full keyboards, 'no 1 nids 2 typ lyk dis'...
There's a reason why everyone interviewed in this video looks super confused. They aren't being asked specific enough questions! This reporter doesn't know how to follow-up or report. F- Resident
We'd have to get tech to the point that it would be economical. Like to mine planets or to live on them in some kind of dome. Anyways the International Space Station is happening right now so there is some learning and progress from that. But just exploring is kinda old (this is not startrek) now there would have to be a point. Also machines are better explorers than humans.
We shouldn't go into space until we take care of our problems here on Earth...We have a huge deficit and can't take care of our problems because that would be wasteful government spending...We need to cut and not pay taxes because we want jobs, jobs, and jobs in Mumbai and Shanghai. Charlie Sheen is having a press conference, right after American Idol so I've got to go now....Bye!
-He3 Helium -3 combined with a form of fusion beamed from a manned station on the moon could supply Earth with all the energy we would need. Energy issue is solved and have a manned space program at the same time. And the lower costing energy would almost be sure to have a side effect of higher standard of living for the rest of the world.
this is so sad.. space exploration not important? what will happen when the earth is destroyed by future generations.. space exploration is necessary if we want out species to survive on the long term scale
Japan has a satellite circling the moon photographing the moons surface at a birds eye view 500 ft elevation, it finished already, but wheres the pictures of all the space junk we left up there, not one ah ha from Japan saying oh look here USA lander.
If you ask the Native Americans if they are proud that Columbus sail across the Atlantic.I would think they would have a different view.Exploring space and Columbus sailing across the Atlantic is two different things.
she had a good attitude..it was interesting to watch..and lol at all the anti-western people subbed to RT..but this is a good question..we should be spendin more time exploring space rather then exploring foreign countries with our militaries
Yes, that is off the premise that you could actually believe that we went there the first time.
I mean, man. If' we went there the first time. You would think with technology it would be a piece of cake as far as advancement of technology. Geez' we have phones the size of small candy bars where you are able to watch TV off of now here.
In the 60's you were lucky to have a TV with 4 channels. They only went to the moon in the hearts of Americans. But as far as man touching foot on the moon?
Oh, oh, Houston we have a situation. The Lunatic hollywood hoax is leaking!!!!! Never been there, never done it, it was just a dream....It was the american EGO that reached the moon, not the Eagle....but now the "inception" is ending... Ever landed your anus on Uranus???
@ChristopherMarlowe Actually we cant go back to the moon because the moon doesn't exist. The moon is a hoax,,,a hologram beamed into the sky by da jooos.
@locolalo1364 I don't understand what you are trying to say. Perhaps English is not your primary language. Does calling people names make you feel better about yourself? Do you suffer from low self-esteem? When people make logical arguments, does that cause you pain? Do you feel a sense of rage when your worldview is challenged by other opinions?
Hypothetical question: If NASA really didn't go to the moon, would pointing that out make someone anti-American?
@ChristopherMarlowe Ever heard of Sarcasm? If not I would understand why you didn't understand my comment. Heres a logical argument for you. Coming from a person with a Bachelor's degree in Science. How can it be possible for the moon landing to be a hoax when we have scientific data (available to the public) on rocket propulsion, gravity in space, ect. Do you also believe the GPS and satellites are all Hoaxes? Try learning a little science before commenting again.
@locolalo1364 said: "How can it be possible for the moon landing to be a hoax when we have scientific data (available to the public) on rocket propulsion, gravity in space, ect."
It is very possible for rocket propulsion to exist, and at the same time for the moon landings to be fake. No one is asserting that rockets don't exist. There were satellites in orbit before anyone claimed to walk on the moon. The space shuttle only goes about 300 miles out; The moon is 240,000 miles away.
@ChristopherMarlowe Currently yes only because there isn't anything further than 300 miles that we need. The Saturn V rocket that was used in the Apollo missions traveled at ~20-24 thousand miles per hour do some math smart guy.
@locolalo1364 My point was that it is entirely possible for NASA to put satellites into a low earth orbit, and yet be unable to go to the moon. I was showing how much farther away the moon is from where the satellites currently orbit. The satellites are launched into space by rocket propulsion. Do you see how I refuted what you initially claimed? And do you see how you haven't refuted anything? If the Saturn rocket didn't carry men to the moon, it doesn't matter how fast it goes.
@ChristopherMarlowe We are able to go to the moon. We have done so. We just have not done it recently due to having no profit from it... Sadly in the end it all comes down to money and whether or not there will be an advantage/profit from it. Don't know why you are being too arrogant to acknowledge this.
@locolalo1364 I don't know why you won't acknowledge that we haven't gone to the moon. Is that arrogance on your part, or does "arrogance" mean that people don't agree with you?
@ChristopherMarlowe Yeah we have you don't wan't to come to factual information that's your problem but I have science behind me that can prove to you we have and we can.
@ChristopherMarlowe Open your mind dude,,,9/11 was another hoax,,that empty space in lower Manhattan is another hologram,,,da jooos are using the towers to store their gold and all of the body parts they harvest from the mutant palestinian babies they grow in their underground zionist lair.
@RT4RTards Do you feel guilty when Jewish rabbis get caught selling human organs? Or when the IDF murders innocent children? Does that make you feel guilty? And when you feel guilty, does that give rise to a violent impulse?
There is no place to run from the Truth. The Truth is everywhere. If you hide behind lies, they will catch up to you sooner or later.
@ChristopherMarlowe Then you're a moron. We *can* go to the moon and we've been to the moon 9 times in all... With our current technology what exactly are we suppose to do?
@Kanoki989 That's a brilliant argument you've just made. By calling me a moron, that must prove that all your assertions are correct. My! What critical thinking skills you have!
But you might want to check your facts. Even people who believe the BS apollo story think that only Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 landed people on the moon. (That adds up to 6, not 9.)
@Armand308 NASA is not buying Soviet era engines >.>' and yes the USA went to the moon nine times, morons seem to think America only went once, so they think that one is a hoax... >.>''
@ChristopherMarlowe your stupid, theres a damn laser on it that was placed to measure the distance from earth to the moon. you cannot hoax something like that and get away with it.
@Jace1283xmod aren't you up past your bedtime? There's a damn laser on what? Are you talking about the reflector that was allegedly placed on the moon by apollo astroNOTS? The laser on Earth is reflected back to the earth by allegedly bouncing it off the reflector. Is that what you are referring to?
Did you know the soviets put up two reflectors on unmanned flights? Lunokhod 1 and 2.If the soviets put reflectors on the moon without a manned flight, reflecting lasers doesn't prove your theory.
@hihosh1 I don't want to belittle the human race. I don't believe that lies make people great. I only want to believe in the Truth. If apollo is a scam that was made by a cabal within NASA, then they are mocking humanity and belittling the human race.
@ChristopherMarlowe right and all the astronauts are paid off too, and the scientists around the world studying the rocks they brought back, you're insane
Listen to Neil Armstrong's cryptic words, and ask yourself why he doesn't just say: "We only went to the Moon, but you can go to Mars!" Instead he talks about "leaving much to be done" and "Truth's protective layers". This is a guy who is sick of lying.
@ChristopherMarlowe lmfao this has to be the funniest thing i have heard for at least 10 years or even as funny when people say the world is flat lmfao!! if we did not go to the moon then y is our government shipping nuclear weapons to the space shuttle that orbits around our planet & that is a fact not a guess! maybe u need to go to the launch site & u can tell all the people there about how u don't think we went to the moon! maybe they will listen! i bet u also think the world is flat!!!

We don't think it's "interesting" any more because space exploration is no longer a game of Cold War political one-upsmanship. I think the focus of international competition has broadened and moved on to other areas, and against more countries.

TexianUSA 10 months ago
@TexianUSA I'm not suggesting we kill off NASA. I'm suggesting that we should have the same or greater passion for developing green technologies as we did in the 50s/60s for beating the Soviets to the moon. The fact that there is "no such thing available" as green energy is exactly what I'm suggesting we work toward changing. How often has we heard it said, "they can put a man on the moon, but they cant xxxx"? If we can walk on the moon, then we can devlop green energy. We just need the PASSION.
headybrew 10 months ago

China seems destined to control space and thus the future of humanity.

very typical of a 'dumbed-down' population that doesn't even understand how exploring the 'unknown' benefits humankind, but make NO MISTAKE, our military has been and is weaponizing space for its own purposes and 'classified' objectives...the "black" budget is not called BLACK for nothing
TexianUSA 10 months ago
@TexianUSA I agree with you. The space project is alive and well -- in the shadow government, which "broke away" from our civilization decades ago. I can't even imagine how much futuristic technology they have available that could benefit mankind if they would only come clean about it.
But that would require revealing that they have used it to oppress us and that isn't likely to come voluntarily.
Besides, they proved that humans can't survive the trip the way they were doing it...
ramura001 10 months ago
@ramura001 you are one of the only ones who are not only sticking to the topic, but seem a bit more aware of the behind-the-scenes activities than both the other posters who are too focused on the presenter rather than the issue as well as a bit more in tune with the fact that we know long-distance spaceflight is DEADLY and crippling to any human who stay in zero or near-zero G for longer than 6 months. Artificial gravity generation must be done in order to offset this deadly problem.
TexianUSA 10 months ago
@TexianUSA Thanks for your comment! On an interesting note, I know of a "friend of a friend" who is in the NASA Mars Project in nanotechnology. It isn't clear to us yet whether he is in the open space program or the secret one, but after Fukushima he, and 43 other scientists, were flown to Australia for some reason connected to the problem. I am dying to know what THAT is all about. Hopefully, figuring out how to stop nano-radiation from spreading in air and water...
ramura001 10 months ago
@ramura001 that is interesting since 'officially' we only have two 'centers' there, Canberra Deep Space Comm Ctr and the massive Alice Springs complex which does all kinds of things, most of which are classified so I can't discuss that one too much. Japan does have 2 launch sites, Uchinoura pad at Kagoshima Space Center and the pad on Tanagashima Island. I do find it a bit beyond coincidence since it has been the Aussies who have led the fight in getting nano-product labeling laws passed there.
TexianUSA 10 months ago
@TexianUSA Tex -- Clearly you are much more informed on this stuff than I! I notice you don't mention Pine Gap...which is a whole 'nuther thing! :)
I really don't have anything more to add, but do want to thank you for this enlightening and fun conversation we have been having here...
Thanks so much for your comments and may we all be protected in all the stuff that is coming down so rapidly these days...
ramura001 10 months ago
@ramura001 the Gap system is part of the JOINT DEFENCE SPACE RESEARCH program HQ'd at the MASSIVE Alice Springs complex I eluded to and is HIGHLY classified. There are at least SIX "Gaps" that have been mentioned in the public realm. We suspect at least THREE others though, 1 in S. Japan, which is why the CIA/USAID people were deployed there. Just do a web search for 'Pine Gap' to find history/info on them. Remember, with any secret military project, what you see is only the tip of the iceberg!

420DEADGIRL 10 months ago
@420DEADGIRL The system apparently doesn't teach kids these days how to use something called a "period". It's the little dot I'm putting at the end of my sentences. You might want to learn how to use this incredible feature of the English language! Although, if you did use it, it would be harder to prove your point about people being dumbed down. You definitely just proved it without a doubt.
Lisdop 10 months ago
@lisdop omg that is so funny i didnt really laugh! sounds like ur on ur period would u like a tampoon? for the record there r only 500 characters, so i made the sentences that way! if u can't read them or u have a complaint then take it up with ur local tampoon factory! maybe they can help! oh wait, if u got a tampoon stuck then maybe u can have ur husband or gay lover pull ur string! cause after all ur a puppet & u don't pull the strings! now for the love of god stop trying to pull my string!

420DEADGIRL 10 months ago
@420DEADGIRL If you don't want to be judged in a negative way, then I would suggest not to use "dumbspeak".
People form opinions aka. "judge" people on a constant basis. The only way to not be judged is to hide in a hole. Who am I to judge you? I am simply someone who came in contact with you, and therefore formed some kind of opinion on you based on the way you communicate.
By the way, take a look at these comments. How many are using "dumbspeak"? Almost nobody. English would work better.

@Lisdop proper english?...... "favours"?......."writing like you DOES simply make ...."... listen you homo internet bad ass, get it together
mikemd711 10 months ago
@mikemd711 Actually 'favours' IS a spelling valid in proper English. In places you probably never heard of, like Canada, the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, SIngapore, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan,Zimbabwe, Kenya, Malta (in basically every English-speaking country EXCEPT the US). That said, 'favors' is also proper English.
shmuli9 10 months ago
@shmuli9 Bravo Shmuli! Well said. Yes, I happen to be from Canada, and we spell it FAVOUR.
I totally agree about the dumbspell; pretty much every phone has a QWERTY keyboard or auto-complete nowadays. Read: no excuse for writing like that.
Dumbspell is great, because it lets you immediately recognize the intellectuals from the non-intellectuals. Or maybe it's just separating those with some pride versus those without it?
Lisdop 10 months ago
@Lisdop Yes; it drives me crazy. I MIGHT (probably not, but MIGHT) think certain expressions would be all right if they were quite a bit shorter, but sometimes the (lack of) spellings are actually longer than the originals... Yes, and we found out through experience in writing a flyer mailed out to thousands of households that "Spellcheck" (I've heard 'it doesn't matter how I spell; SpellCheck will correct things for me") there are certain words that ARE words [cont'd]
shmuli9 10 months ago
@Lisdop [cont] like "their", they're", and "their"... In the instance I write of, we sent out flyers that said "we promise extensive pubic involvement" when we meant "pubLic", but as 'pubic' is a real word, "Spellcheck" didn't register any wrong spelling... And yes, you're right; of course I don't judge people SOLELY on how they spell, but it's generally pretty indicative of their intellect... ('I dont need 2 no how 2 spel') Oh, and I checked; only 20% of people who text DO spell that way
shmuli9 10 months ago
@mikemd711 "Favour" is how you spell it; that's the proper "Queens english". You Yankees decided to change it for some reason.
"Writing like you do simply makes people not bother paying attention to your message, especially starting with "OMG". - Lisdop
Read it again. It makes perfect sense. PERHAPS maybe it should have gone, "Writing like you do (comma), simply...." The way you wrote it makes less sense to me.
That's okay, you forgot the period at the end.
Lisdop 10 months ago

@Lisdop Oops! Sorry, didn't read your ('UR') comment closely enough, so please disregard my last comment to you... I call it 'dumbspell'. Are you just more comfortable with all of the news being controlled by Jews? Do you think that is a better way of getting the Truth?

@ChristopherMarlowe >Implying that you weren't an anti-american conspiracy nut. Sometimes you people make the obvious seem retarded
locolalo1364 10 months ago
@locolalo1364 I don't understand what you are trying to say. Perhaps English is not your primary language. Does calling people names make you feel better about yourself? Do you suffer from low self-esteem? When people make logical arguments, does that cause you pain? Do you feel a sense of rage when your worldview is challenged by other opinions?
Hypothetical question: If NASA really didn't go to the moon, would pointing that out make someone anti-American?
ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago

ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe Currently yes only because there isn't anything further than 300 miles that we need. The Saturn V rocket that was used in the Apollo missions traveled at ~20-24 thousand miles per hour do some math smart guy.
locolalo1364 10 months ago
@locolalo1364 My point was that it is entirely possible for NASA to put satellites into a low earth orbit, and yet be unable to go to the moon. I was showing how much farther away the moon is from where the satellites currently orbit. The satellites are launched into space by rocket propulsion. Do you see how I refuted what you initially claimed? And do you see how you haven't refuted anything? If the Saturn rocket didn't carry men to the moon, it doesn't matter how fast it goes.
ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe We are able to go to the moon. We have done so. We just have not done it recently due to having no profit from it... Sadly in the end it all comes down to money and whether or not there will be an advantage/profit from it. Don't know why you are being too arrogant to acknowledge this.
locolalo1364 10 months ago
@locolalo1364 I don't know why you won't acknowledge that we haven't gone to the moon. Is that arrogance on your part, or does "arrogance" mean that people don't agree with you?
ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe Yeah we have you don't wan't to come to factual information that's your problem but I have science behind me that can prove to you we have and we can.
locolalo1364 10 months ago

ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe Then you're a moron. We *can* go to the moon and we've been to the moon 9 times in all... With our current technology what exactly are we suppose to do?
Kanoki989 10 months ago
@Kanoki989 That's a brilliant argument you've just made. By calling me a moron, that must prove that all your assertions are correct. My! What critical thinking skills you have!
But you might want to check your facts. Even people who believe the BS apollo story think that only Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 landed people on the moon. (That adds up to 6, not 9.)
ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@Kanoki989
are you kidding ? NASA buying soviet era engines to get into space... wow eve 9 times ? :D
Armand308 10 months ago
@Armand308 NASA is not buying Soviet era engines >.>' and yes the USA went to the moon nine times, morons seem to think America only went once, so they think that one is a hoax... >.>''
Kanoki989 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe Only reason we have not gone back to the moon is because
We spend more money on wars then we do on space exploration. We have the
technologie to go back but no funding.
wtf0804 10 months ago
@wtf0804 Yes, you're probably right. NASA only gets $17 Billion dollars a year.
ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe your stupid, theres a damn laser on it that was placed to measure the distance from earth to the moon. you cannot hoax something like that and get away with it.
Jace1283xmod 10 months ago
@Jace1283xmod aren't you up past your bedtime? There's a damn laser on what? Are you talking about the reflector that was allegedly placed on the moon by apollo astroNOTS? The laser on Earth is reflected back to the earth by allegedly bouncing it off the reflector. Is that what you are referring to?
Did you know the soviets put up two reflectors on unmanned flights? Lunokhod 1 and 2.If the soviets put reflectors on the moon without a manned flight, reflecting lasers doesn't prove your theory.

@ChristopherMarlowe why are you so obssessed with belittling the human race? Why can't you just accept it was done, it's amazing?
hihosh1 10 months ago
@hihosh1 I don't want to belittle the human race. I don't believe that lies make people great. I only want to believe in the Truth. If apollo is a scam that was made by a cabal within NASA, then they are mocking humanity and belittling the human race.
ChristopherMarlowe 10 months ago
@ChristopherMarlowe right and all the astronauts are paid off too, and the scientists around the world studying the rocks they brought back, you're insane
Jace1283xmod 10 months ago
@Jace1283xmod google: "moon rock petrified wood"
