@jonasisnumba1 As he worked his way through Bryyo, his attacks became more Phazon based and he lost control and became corrupted which made him an easy target for Dark Samus to possess. He was back to normal when Samus defeated him, and if you look closely at the end of the battle, he holds his hand out so Samus can help him up.

@redeyes1089 Unlike Samus, he's been using Phazon longer than her, and after some time, He became corrupted. Only reason he couldn't do what samus does and "fire" out the extra phazon is because the Federation did not foresee a phazon overload until they viewed samus. Thus he, Ghor, and Gandradya were all taken by the influence of Dark Samus.

for me, the fastest way to begin the Rundas battle is just go into hypermode and destroy 2 Pirate ATC's during the Pirate raid and presto, the real battle begins

you know what you can do to beat rundas quickly. you can enter hypermode from the beginning and let it run into corruption. dont let the phazon overflow and dont use it all up.

man this is weird first i choose normal as difuculty and it took me 17 trys in veterns mode it took me 3 try the third try was like i jumped every where the use the ped thanks to u metroidhunters i finaly kne that if ur Corrupted u can not let the red bar reach the end or else it will turn into a yellow bar and in 5 seconds ur corrupted

I actually felt bad fighting Rundas. I mean, not only is he the coolest bounty hunter, but it's like this is the reward he gets for saving Samus from that huge fall with Ridley. Too bad the GF didn't send you a corruption vaccine for Rundas like they did for the Aurora Unit.

I think it depends on how much Hypermode you use. In my Hypermode run, I beat him a little over a minute using all hypermode.

I'm always on the aggresive, ofensive side & I kept shooting Rundas until I heard him yell "ow!" which usually I usually noticed when he's stunned & just after I ripped his ice armor of him, I enterd Hyper Mode & gave him everything I got.

I started this on Normal, just because I need to learn the controls better with the wiimote & the only Metroid Prime game I have before this is Hunters

Hey Metroid Hunters, I have a question for you. Did you memorize the location of every expansion item and events in all three Metroid Prime games? Or you have your own "Logbook"?

The way I used to do it was, write down all the rooms expansions were in, in a notebook.

Since I've played games for awhile, I had my own "route" that I always took.

Since I already know how to beat the game, if I forget an expansion location I just simply google it. Makes life easier lol

I guess just corrupting Rundas wasn't cutting it. It looks like DS was forced to take him over entirely since you can see a ghostly DS at 4:36. Ghor and Gandrayda didn't have that, so that makes me think that simply corrupting him wasn't going quickly enough.
