Well thats easily said about any car to be fair, my 20 year old chevy chews up sti's and spits them out on a straight, i was just making the point that its a light car with damn good handling, drop something meatier in the bonnet and theres not alot of modern everyday cars that could keep up with it without major investment.

You do realise that you know nothing right? xr4x4 is 200kg lighter than an sti and a v6 clio, 2kg heavier than a mr2 mk2 gt, by modern standerds its light as hell, and is completely underated due to its bhp when power to weight ratio is actually damn good, it also has nearly perfect weight distribution despite the engine not being mid mounted.

Do some research atleast so you dont sound like a complete idiot ya numpty.

i have an xr4x4 2.9 and i love the car but even i'll admit there is something dodgy about that, i've had 130mph from mine with some more to go but it wouldnt go from 0 to that top speed anywhere near that quick unless it had alot of modifications.

@Darek746 Ty głąbie wypowiadaj sie na temat deskorolek jak nie masz zielonego pojecia co to jest sierra 2.9 V6 24V.Scorpio z tym silnikiem i ze skrzynią automat która jest wolniejsza robi 230-240km/h tu masz 300-400kg mniej (a moze i wiecej jak odchudzona) Teraz do debili którzy piszą ze na podnosniku (boze widzisz a nie grzmisz)no kur żal was.Nie pomyslales tez jeden pół mózg z 2 ze w wiekszosci sam licznik zawyza jekies 10% i ze moze ma cos dlubane w silniku i moze ma 250 KM lub wiecej

...but the acceleration is still amazing, believe me, I have tried, several times hehe. The car has no problems doing donuts in second gear. The car is now exported to Norway, the new owner says it will be used as a track day racer, I wish him good luck and many fun hours with this hillarious car.

Ok to end all discussion: the car is a standard -91 4-door sierra 2,9 with a 5-speed manual gearbox. We did an engine swap to the 2,9 24V Cosworth BOA engine wich totally inihilated the diff so we mounted a lsd from a -88 2,8 xr4x4, THAT'S IT!!!! no other modifications made!!!! The 4x4 diff has a different final gear ratio so the speedo is quite incorrect at top speed (maybe someone WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS can calculate the real top speed for us)...
