i dont get why he would waste his super meter to punish rather than ultra at 1:05 either. You can punish blocked blanka balls with Ultra. Also that attempted ultra at 1:18 was incredibly weak

Yeah blanka is a monster... but this abel guy is pretty good i use abel now. I used to use sagat but i guyess the memo got out the hes the best player in the game so i see them all the time now.. But that combo he did into a super was nice imma practice that tonight...

Hadowkened? Seriously? What are you borderline retarded? First, the move you are looking for is Shoryuken. Second, slide has tons of range for being a special normal, even if you miss you avoid chip damage. Third, EX blanka ball goes through fireballs, has a shit load of priority, and crushes Focus attacks. You say you are better than this guy? I beg to differ.

Abel is very badass lol. I would like to see a really kick ass Blanka player. The Abel player just seemed to good for him. Im sure Blanka is sick if your really good with him.

The Blanka player i always seem to end up facing is the really annoying one that does nothing but use the electricity lol i get so anxious and confused with it. it totally throws me off of what im used to playing lol blanka will do his electricity and ill naturally jump and try to come in with an attack from above and NOPE! lol ill get shocked

yeah but you should be playing defence whilst fighting blanka.

Just make him go on the offense because

1. He's a charge character and must hold back to pull off his moves anyway

2. He's slow

3. He's offensive moves are quite week.

Then you haven't seen any kick ass Blanka players. Seriously, almost every Blanka player I've ever seen had no idea how to use him. He's actually not a bad character at all. The one in this video sucked though.

sagats are easy, just use ex's on tiger fireballs and confuse them with slide and jumping attacks. Just don't jump as much when they have ultra. Bisons, just be very defensive, let them make the moves and when they make mistake, capitalize on it.

hey, i really want to get into blanka but i don't really play as charge characters alot. Any tips for a begginer with a good grasp of all the mechanics? Also, just wondering..how long did it take for u to get descent once u started using blanka?

Lets see--use the light version of rolling attacks, they really throw people off, making them commit lot of mistakes. The slides are very powerful, if you make a succesful slide. walk up onto opponent and do a low sweep, then stand next to them again, and jump hard kick and into combo. Then, next time grab them, then oh I can go forever--just master his ultra(will hit when opponent is next to you) slide and vertical roll and u'll be fine
