  • hi

  • THERE DIFFERENT ASPCETS OF THE SAME BEING!!

  • whoever wrote these hindu epics had brains better than the modern men .i guess we are too ignorant and keep trying for equipments rather than tapping our powers within

  • where did you get that at 0:56 its a kannada script . can you give me the link of it

  • can someone explain in hindi pls

  • retarded religions

  • Comment removed

  • @manoharbabu1 excuseme ...this is sumthing which is not visible too our normal vision ..it is nt clashing the modern science . we r bound to see those thing which is visible but nt sumthing which is beyound our vision..............if u cannot see a soul cuming out of the body den believe that there is many thing which is a mysetry to us.

  • this is nothing to doubt.....man's small brain can never undrstnd it its a matter of our deep conscience.

  • i wish all that science is brought back and the stupid superstitions are thrown in a garbage can

  • is this your god this is funny

  • @baniyas2011 dont get bewildered dont use ur brain.....its sumthing too complex to fit in people's small brains.....and hv faith rather than doubts

  • @baniyas2011 this religion is difficult to understand and comprehend bcoz its not gazwas of rasul or forced conversions or takkiya based or muta or kafir and muslim theory. Its pure thought process n spiritual.I guess islam doesn't even have the concept of soul in it.Whereas all religions do.SO its not really surprising to see u laughing out of ignorance.

  • @dheer1231 all religions, Abrahamic, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Sikhism..they all have esoteric scriptures or inner sects such as Sufism (Islam), Gnosis (christianity), Vedanta (Hinduism), Kabbalah (Judaism). If you would do some research, you will learn that all of these inner sects have preserved the root of knowledge that is very rarely understood by people, (many comments on this video, for example?) because they stubbornly and of course, stupidly hold on to the 'outer' ideas you see..

  • @chesh06 I can accept wat u said with all religions except islam.Islam is based on actions of Mohammad. We can't say sufism and try to paint islam equal to other religions.Islam is based purely on wat mohammad did and mohammad said. And sufism is not at all wat mohammad suggested.IF u subtract mohammad from it,u cant have islam.

  • hahahaha

  • Religions are the Roman Empire dress very gayly.

  • vedas r a gift to mankind.. stop wasting time in petty fightings about religion n start exploring n understanding this highly scientific collection of knowledge

  • hinduism is scince,i dont know when this world came to know this........

  • @manoharbabu1 I meant Indians invented it, not that its only applicable inside the country lol

  • @manoharbabu1 Vedas = Indian science

  • this is all nonsense. Read a bible. God created the heavens and earth.

  • @bass109 Ok..! Y ¿Quien Creo A Dios.?

  • @bass109 I tried not laugh when reading your comment...

  • oldest living religion and so many proofs

  • @jayd4ever Everybody says that.

  • Marijuana cures cancer.

    Marijuana can make biodegradable plastics.

Marijuana can make fuel for airplanes and cars without war.

Marijuana is the answer to all our global problems.

Marijuana has the healthiest seed known to man (hemp seed).

Marijuana can make the greatest insulated homes (hempcrete).

Marijuana is the best plant in the world and would give power to the people and take it away from big business. That is the sole reason it is still illegal.

  • dear friends

    just listen to this once more;

it tlks of "cities ewhich enables one to take shortcuts across space" and the story of yogini chitralekha.( see 2:33-4:45) . to me this may refer to WORMHOLES.

THE STORIES OF NARADA TRAVELLING FROM ONE WORLD TO ANOTHER AND ARJUNA PULLED DOWN INTO NAGALOKA, TO ME REFERS TO SPPACE TRAVEL BETWEEN PARALLEL WORLDS.

  • Very pleasant to ear the truth explained from vedic sriptures!

Bhaktivedanta Swami did such a wonderful task to spread it as it is all over the world through his books and his teachings...

We should try our best to study it every day of our life!

  • Nice Video! Could these parallel worlds be future possibilities of what might happen within our one three dimensional Universe?

A dynamic Universe of continuous change or creation that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual creating our own future!

  • Other religions originated 2000 and 1500 years ago make absurd claims of earth being Flat ???? Vedas written before 6000 years BC indicate earth is spherical which is a fact modern religion's just preach Blind faith and attack non believer's

  • @03j31a0205 I thought Hindus believe the earth's on the back of a turtle.

Am I thinking of another religion?

All the pictures I've seen, show a flat earth on a turtle, which is on the back of an elephant.

I'm sorry, but this sounds like more interpreting what ever you want to, out of ancient fairy tales.

And all religions say their books were written before the oldest surviving books of their religion were found.

Again I'm sorry, but Hinduism is the most mythical sounding of all religions.

  • Comment removed

  • @03j31a0205 What's even mysterious is that 6000 BC is just a scientific guess for Vedas. Infact it is said Vedas originated from the time when first intellectual beings came to life.

  • Vedas give knowledge of mathematics as well concept of infinity, trigonometry, geometry and many more were written even before 6000 years bc the proof of the metallurgic science in Vedas is Asoka pillar in Delhi made of 6000 kg's of cast iron in the open does not has slightest trace of rust and it even survived a direct cannon hot from turk invader nadirshah even today with modern technology such quality of iron cannot be obtained if u dont know try to learn it or shut up and move your way

  • I LOVE THIS VID!

  • great piece....

  • It is linked to worm hole concept from Einsteins view of universe and explanation of gravity.

  • खुद को साधू कहलाते हो ,

    फिर स्म्लेगिकता को किउँ छिपाते हो ॲ

  • and the most amazing thing is that they imagined like Einstein and Stephen hawkings thousands of years ago!!!!!!!!!

  • if you will study vedas and other hindu scriptures..first you will enjoy..then amazed and then you will go mad....

  • @MrShubham345 Cool brother. Hindu cosmology is the only one which matches that of the modern one in terms of time scale..

  • In Jewish Mysticism we share a similar common point. It made me question a lot of history, including the journey of our people from that area of the world pre-covenant. I beleive the Acient forms of Hindu and Judaism and similar structures are purely a structure, and not a religion. Structure being the guided path. Look at the Book of Enoch...and so much more. I feel the truths are in the old testament, but in metaphor based of the Torah. I really love this video,

  • @willmilano well said I also believe that the truth is within the old testament....

  • @MrShubham345 Watch Carl Sagan's clip on Hindu cosmology for the scientific logic you are looking for.

  • Death is the road to Birth! and u must rebirth yourself through awakening that divine unconsciousness that we all have! Everything that world knows came from one continent......AFRICA!!! EYGPT!! everything else is just a copy, fake, twisted and recripted story of the myths.

  • Our soul/consciousness or i should say unconscious hold the ancient knowledge givin to us from the ultimate God, the god that the bible talks about is the creator of earth but in fact is yawhaweh(spell check) this is a lesser god that has no idea of The ultimate God. we are only inprisoned in this body! the flesh returns but the soul lives on. All things return back to the creator!! The worse thing that was teached that brain washed many of us was that reincarnation is not Real..its very real!

  • @MrShubham345 You suck. lol

  • I enjoyed it.

  • @emperor0989 Haha and where did you learn that, Zeitgeist? hahahah

  • Jesus is only god of universe, everything is under him.

  • @bass109

jesus never existed. he's just a myth. his birth and death was taken word to word from already existing cultures- like the Vedic Aryan culture in this video.

Christianity was a tool by Vatican (original- Vaatika) to control people and push Europa into dark ages. Jesus NEVER existed, period

  • @bass109

Yes very true and Jesus is Krishna, He is Allah, He is you and He is me......Peace and Love.

  • I argue randomly online because I'm not sure of my own beliefs! :P

HAHA ring a bell anyone? If you get online very often you'll know. ;)

  • hey, whats the music in the vid, thanks

  • In a way we also change dimension all the time, and we all exist in separate dimensions. Every emotional state is always infinite, because it makes the world, other people, and the past and the future to look like it. If one is depressed, everything seems dull, and if one becomes happy, it seems like there never existed any depression. We can choose between these realms of being, and yet we can't... Buddhist practices concentrate on what works, and what works is usually true also.

  • Biggest load of shit I Eva heard

  • Damn all Scientist. why did they not study bible 1st before they make experiments and fake theory.

  • there`s Just one God who created the universe and everything....

  • @almurabiton and who created God ? humans.

  • @dorusone Good question man:) Can you answer who created universe then? None of the theories of creation of universe hold any ground. God created universe still hold more logic than it is created automatically, a non living things created life? There are many such questions in science which are very unanswered and very vague answers.. If human does not know/understand something it does not prove that such thing does not exist.

  • i wish u all open yours eyes and don't fall into a dream world. we are here and now.

what's after is how ever u make your path from here. so be good be kind and be cool.

    you can't go wrong.

now get back to work and stop dreamin!!!

  • @vargaadrianteofil wow..... thats so deep....

  • @corpseneech

    lol thx :P

  • Interesting... but how can the universes be sacred? They are all places of death.

  • @danianjan death is sacred.... just not in western mentality...

  • @corpseneech How can death be sacred? The way a person dies can be said to be sacred or inglorious, but the phenomenon of death itself cannot be sacred. It is a painful event...

  • @danianjan Why do we celebrate a birth of a child when it is just as natural of an event as death? How a person acts or thinks at this present moment is all derived from ones past events. So some cultures fear it and some praise it. Its all perspective.

  • @danianjan I'm glad someone sees sense. Even when death itself isn't painful, even if the dead no longer suffer, the soul dies when the brain no longer functions. This is why the survivors grieve so much.

  • @danianjan Well, it is not like that. Whatever you are saying is what you feel but not the ultimate truth. The death is as true as the birth is and it is part of a sequence. If death will not be there then perhaps birth be neither. Fact is that death is the name of end of a body and not the soul. Soul changes body the same way we change clothes. Happiness or sadness is nature of this body and exists due to the moha (the attachement with this physical world).

  • Vedas say there are thousands of worlds above nd below, u would grow weary finding them :)

  • i believe in no religion. i believe that humans could do whatever they could think of if we would not fight or start wars. The human mind is an amazing thing. if we could somehow harness this power we could do anything. In ancient times they wrote that they saw gods coming down from the sky and hurling fire at each other. Back then they couldn't write the word e.t so they imagined them as gods. They also wrote that the priest could see into the future. the human mind is a very powerful thing.

  • @ishotudead wow...what is wrong with you? The Big Bang Theory contradicts that God exists, and is backed up by science. *Your just saying that everyhting is made up

  • @ThecrazyJH96 It doesn't contradicts it, it complements it.

  • @Mrgalacticone Okay, DudeI am glad you were joking. Now I dare you to type in Jiddu Krishnamurti. Take me up on it. If you do not know this man, you will be pleasantly surprised. He is he best.

  • thought is limited. So, how can one have faith in thoughts. If I had faith in my thoughts I would not be doubting. I would believe everything that my foolish mind tells me. I don''t believe in the Gods that the mind of man has created - created by his fear of the unknown .. of death. The mind fears death because it cannot stand the discontinuation of itself. It has to find some way of immortalizing itself. It seeks security in illusion, maya, as the Hindus put it.

  • @ergotrof

you "god" was made up 3000 years after this belief

so who are to say which one is right?

"yhwh" was made up around 1300 b.c

so what happened before then huh?

  • @ergotrof You are misguided the old testament promotes stoning of people and sacrifices which supposedly pleases the lord now tell me how a god that endorses these things is good.

  • 2012. the spiritual awakening.. let us all rejoice in sacred herbs, and travel the places only previously reserved for gods, demigods and rich powerful illuminatists, they can no longer hide us from the truth... everyything works both ways. adn without the internet, i shun to think most of this revolution would be possible! so thank you governments, but we can no llonger be slaves to blind tyranny!

  • @TheDaveBar the parallel dimensions can be a scary thing... like u said people have to work up and learn these things gradually. its like waking a baby from a deep sleep, hes going to panic and cry, we need to be woken up at a pace that will reveal certain aspects of consciousness to ourselves without shattering our foundation, and thankfully people like u and i and others have been guiding this into light..

  • @lagginswag its very scary bro but only first few times , i heard strange noices and sounds while entering astral level

  • everything in this video is entheogen allegory

ie 'finding an ankle bracelet' is a metaphor for eating a sacred mushroom etc

  • @ergotrof Every person's experience is different.....and what may benefit you may not necessarily be the truth.... if it is true, then prove it or explain it, other than saying "i say so" or that it is "wriiten here "

  • @smodass re:post #160 the truth is what you make of it. scripture tells you a version in relation to an authority considered divine. if a person believes it, fine. otherwise he is in rejection of the authority of scripture's version. that is his freedom but he can not say that scripture is wrong. or right. all that can be said is that its followers have the faith that it is not the subject of illusion that unenlightened experiences are based in. genuine relationships allude to enlightened state.

  • i like this a lot....please another round

  • It is not Arjun who was abducted by the Nagas. It was Bheem who was tricked by Dhuryodhan and thrown into the river where he meets the Nagas who give him the potion that makes him so strong.

  • @tcl83: later on, Arjun was abducted by the Nagas and he married princess Udipi, as shown in the video. She was never his queen, though.

  • @emperor0989 maybe I'm on the wrong page with this. Sorry about the confusion.

  • Everyone purports to know what the truth is.. what the soul is... that there is even a soul, nobody really know.. and why do you really want to know something that is unknowable. I laugh when I hear such conflicting theories of what is right, what is the truth, what one should believe. I think everyone should find the truth out for themselves by inquiring within. That is the only way.

  • Don't laugh because you just purported to know what truth is when you said: "I think everyone should find the truth out for themselves by inquiring within. That is the ONLY way". How can that be the ONLY WAY? Now you claim to know truth. You see, it is IMPOSSIBLE not to claim exclusivity. You HAVE to be exclusive - even the nonexclusivists exclude the exclusivists! but check this out --->

I think everyone should find the truth out for themselves by inquiring within. That is the only way

  • If you make a broad, universal assertion; that something unknown to you (i.e.The soul), is absolutely "unknowable" and "unknown" by all, that presupposes that you know all that is "known" and "can be known". Have we always "known" about DNA or Atoms? Would those concept have been (and still are by some) considered fantasy, or at worst heresy, punishable by death ? Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods.-Einstein

  • I wonder who the gods are? As far as I am concerned the gods as you speak of have all been concocted by the mind of man and whatever the mind has created is not sacred.

  • Be guilty of neither blind faith nor blind doubt. Your assertion is predicated on your "faith" in your thoughts.

  • @JazzyKat2009 Do you think that psychic contact, NDEs, EVP, ghosts etc indicate there is a soul, and that life continues after the death of the body?

  • @k0smon It's not for me to say, don't know whether such things exist in reality or are just figments of a very active imagination. I do believe that there is something within the realm of the unknown that exists. But, I believe the mind of man cannot fathom it, except by true meditation. And what is true meditation but emptying the content of one's consciousness and being fully aware.

  • @JazzyKat2009

You said --"I laugh when I hear such conflicting theories of what is right, "

    Isn't it conflicting?? Just think!!

We believe & you don't!!--that is why we study wt u said--"conflicting theories"

  • @JazzyKat2009 Allah says in the Quran you will not know about the soul because you don't have that knowledge

as we believe that ghost exist but we con't see Electricity can be experienced but can not see air can be feel

but can not see so its does not means that they does not exist.

  • TheDaveBar! I'm fascinated. How is it possible

  • What do you mean? How can you go to other worlds so simply like that? Explain

  • This devotee of Lord Krishna and surrendered disciple of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, was an absolute genius and he left for us a graphical understanding of these intense chapters of the Srimad Bhagavatam & other translated books from the Vedas. We sadly miss Sadaputa Prabhu, and only time will allow us to realize the depth of his genius.

He mapped out graphically how Lord Brahma designed this universe we all live in. What was the architectural plan...the 3D model. Hari Bol!

  • The truth of Sadaputa's assertions, and the validity of the vedic knowledge, does in no way prove that is-con is anything other than ernest fools and charlatans engaged in elaborate, flowery ignoratio elenchi.

  • @mallikadasi Yes, you are right.

  • @0:12, the illustration dipicts differernt entities. Whereas kimpurus(h)a, refers to an exotic tribe that existed during bhagavatha period, ramyaka is a region (like dandaka, daruka which represent geographical regions- forests).

Secondly, 'Bharatavarha' is actually a part of 'Bharata Khanda' ( which included modernday Afghanistan - also known as avgana during the bhagavata period)

  • Actually "Bharatavarsha" is referring to the entire planet's regions because there were only two areas previously, the 2nd being "Illavativarsha", the home of Lord Shiva. Now Bharatavarsha is split into many pieces.

  • Jambu Dweepa - literally meaning 'peninsula which is in the shape of a fox head' (jambuka = fox).

Also, I believe it is 'Anima' and 'Garima' (not Mahima). Both Anima and Garima are Mahimas (or sidhis)

  • in the book of enoch and in the bible giants where called the nephilim made by the watchers, watchers are either fallen angels or possible Aliens? they mated with the woman and the nephilims where born as giants. in India they honor everything as a god that looks different. so those giants where no gods.

  • Krishna is god. His manifestation is a human being form.

  • ...and so the book of Enoch or the Bible are therefore the most accurate and correct telling of this universe's existence? You could easily say that Christians believe they will get to God by following a guy who does magic tricks.

  • Ha Ha Ha... that was good...lol magic tricks...but seriously, if we examine the sacred texts of ALL people, not just early christians and jews, but all the people of the world and their mythologies we can have a better understanding of our history and the myteries of the universe...that was a very clever comment

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent one. Thanks to the Richard L Thompson

  • they sound like out of body experiences

  • Agree with emperor. the Aryan invasion theory was concoted by British who had such a superiority complex, that they refused to beleive that a civilised culture thrived beyond Europe. It was their way of justifying themselves. Also blinded by Christianity they refused to credit Hinduism with anything but idolatary etc. When the vedic literature is older than 20,000 yrs , where is the proof of an later pre vedic civilisation ?

  • Check the video "Sakela~The Greatest Festival of Kirat People" and you see more about Kirat's history, religion and culture who are believed to have started the religion of worshiping phallus stones.

Also check the video "Kirat Temple"

This video you will see three phallus stones which is the main deities of Kirat people.

But you won't see any idol of Shiva unlike other Hindu Shiva temple.

Also Google Kiratas, Kirat, Kirant and Wiki will give more insight about Kiratas.

  • For a people who do not have credible and unique written language (unlike the sanskrit ithasas, for which many thousand yr palm trexts are still avalbl) or excavation sites (such as Takshila, nalanda, dhola vira) to prove antiquity of dwellings, your term "believed to have started is highly immature". there are many sub sets in India, including some tantric based ones with weird rituals, who have corrupted some ancient philosphies. e.g is Sansi tribals who worship kali and kill in her name !!!

  • @mishsood This all changed with Queen Elizabeth 1, she knew and believed in Hermetics, John Dee was a philosopher who taught her this. She tried to bring this into the educations system of its time but was refused by the court. She believed that if everyone knew hermeticism their would be no wars. She was also aware and believed in the power of mind.

  • @DoctorFeelGood657 yes I know her right hand man was an Indian accountant, he had so much influence over her as an advisor and confidant that he was deported as soon as she died....I cannot recall his name unfortunately. he was a neo convert muslim Gujrati.

  • @mishsood I have not hear of Gujarati but i will try and do some research. Many old religions are making a come back especially now with all the discontentment in the world people seem to be looking for answers. Queen Elizabeth was very much open to all religions which unfortunately for her the Catholic Church had too much power. Thanks for your reply, peace be with you always

  • @DoctorFeelGood657 good to see open mindedness :-) , on the Gujrato bit I may be wrong as I am writing from memory, she had an Indian Muslim accountant as her closest confidant and advisor, that is sure.

  • Hinduism has no single founder. It belongs to many tribes, natives of different races living in ancient India.

    In short,

    Hinduism=pre-vedic religion + vedic religion

Hinduism became corrupted after coming of aryan with their vedic religion. Vedic religion such as "chatur-varna" and Gita teachings was a shit in the face of the oldest religion.

Kirata's religion is based on ancestors, nature, shamanistic and stone worshiping.

  • aryan invasion was proven false, time and time again. it was a false theory created by the british to divide the people. here is part 1 of 3, you can find other parts of this in the related section:

    youtube(dot)com/watch?v=MO8-JCK45tc

  • whats the deal whith greek?

  • Nagas in Sanskrit means snakes. It is given by the vedic aryan for Nagas people worship snake. Kiratas on the other worship phallus stone. watch the video "Connexion of Mongolia-Kirat:Revealing the Mystery of Origin of Phallus Stone Worship"

After the arrival of vedic aryan, these 2 culture of worshiping stone and snakes were taken in by the vedic culture. Today in Hinduism, phallus stone(Shiva Lingam) is adorned with snakes around it , representing Shiva with snake around his neck.

  • Bharatvarsha is the sanskrit name for India. Also Aryavarta(Land of Arya)

  • Jaya Sadaputa Prabhu. Please accept my humble obeisances. Please bless me that i may attain even an iota of your divine qualities.

  • through meditation ive achieved a strange feeling of like percieving myself bigger than my body, its just temporary though and I dont think Im actually travelling to another world or anything like that.

Any idea of what Im experiencing?

  • yes i've had the same kind f experience...very interesting

  • Im fairly sure that this could be what is known as your light body or higher self, your subconcious. Your subconcious is a vast being that knows all, and this is who i think we truly are, i think that the reason we have put ourseves here is to inspire our light bodies to greater intentions and a more loving nature. You are doing great things by open up to the universe like this brother and i wish i could get as far as you have gotten. All i can say is keep it up freind :)

  • The human language & Consciousness is incapable to describe the universe. live ur Physicall life now and take chances you only experiance physical universe wich is just an illusion once Energy is matter

  • It's so amazing.

  • One earth One God One Soul One Universe!

  • According to Krishna and the Vedas, its billions of universes, trillions of planets and countless billion trillions of individual eternal spiritual souls which from the highest to the lowest planets are manifest in their various false selfs (the material bodies) everywhere experiencing birth old age disease and death. All of this make up only one third of the entire creation, the remaining two thirds being the spiritual world and one God who supplies the needs of everyone.

  • @devarsi similer to mormonism.

  • @devarsi That would explain the "fallen" angels being 1/3rd.

  • Minds think...... without the mind nothing exists!!! Past Nor Future Nor Matter

So if we search our own minds........ for answers...... we will get them....... untill then, the circling will never end!!!!!

  • time and matter would continue, regardless of us, we are linked to the space time continuum, but the space time continuum isnt attached to us.

how else would you explain the fact that the universe excisted long before mankind came into being?

yes, in order for mankind to percieve the world, they need to have control over their senses, or at least those that allow a human to communicate, the universe however would go on, even when mankind vanishes

  • no that is not correct, our minds are to limited and so are our senses. The intelligence is higher, because it can direct the mind and above the intelligence is the soul which is the observer of the gross body, the subtle mind and the even finer intelligence. You are the soul and you are infinitely higher then body mind and intelligence

  • you are correct, our physicality limits us, the body can be like a soul trap. Good thing our souls leave the body whenever we sleep and die

  • we r the soul and the soul is an eternal part and parcel of Krishna. The identification with this temporary body stops with the practice of chanting Gods Name and Bhakti Yoga

  • can a demi god trancend this world and vice versa. and why would they want to if they had a choice, what would be the purpose?

  • I find your question unclear. What would you really mean by "transcend this world."

What really is the world you're referring to? Just this planetary realm? The latter part of your question should have an answer right now, but I'll wait for a little while before I comment. In that time, at least clarify the "transcending" question. Hare Krsna!

  • ok. first all. i wrote that question like sooo long ago and was maybe a little drunk but i see what you mean. by definition demi gods already exist in the material realm so the quesiton is flawed. i guess i meant why do gods end up in the material realms to become demi gods. why not stay in the comfort of the heavens to instead returun to a semi mortal existence?

  • because after a while, like all things, that pure existence will become slightly sour and not as magnificent as it always was, therefore they might project themselves here for inspiration and a challenge so that one they reach to top of the mountain again they will have greater appreiciation for their heavenly domain. I also belive that this is what all humans are here for.

  • from our perspective, these beings who manipulate their environment with mere thoughts may appear to be gods...

often they'd appear in our world out of curiosity or for their own amusement. They may also be fond of the lesser beings in these worlds as you would be fond of your pet puppy or hamster.

you can see them as gods or simply supernatural beings.

Even I travel less developed countries sometimes just out of curiosity... or maybe even interacting with the ppl...

  • Sorry for the late reply. Although I can't say this about all demi-gods, most demi-gods actually "evolve" to their position, meaning, they were human beings who were later appointed to the "post" of being demi-gods owing to their good deeds, et al.

Even we have that capability (to evolve) but the best way is to surpass any kind of material realm and reach straight to Vaikuntha.

For the other demi-gods, remember, they were servants of Krsna, and Krsna said "I want you to be Brahma."

    cont...

  • So that jiva-atma, being ever ready to serve Krsna readily accepts. Mind, for those demi-Gods, it's actually a blessing to have received a direct order for Krsna and acting accordingly to please Krsna (which is what we all must do eventually - please God and serve Him lovingly).

Hope this answered your question. Hari bol!

  • ive always thougth that demi gods were similare to the bodhisattvas of buddhism , although they have the oppertunity to relinquish the material world they stay behind in a sort of middle loka in order to help the rest of mankind attain moksha

  • While it's certainly plausible, there's one point I'd like you to look for: If the demi-gods are there to help you attain moksha, why do people worship the demi-gods to attain wealth and other material necessities, rather than worshipping them for attaining moksha? Or to pray something like "help me worship Krsna/Vishnu/God/Allah so that I can get liberated?" Isn't it? People only ask for money, fame and happiness from the demi-gods, not for liberation. :)

  • well that is why the bhagavatam reccomends that one not worship the demi gods because although they can help one accieve virtualy anything , most people are too attached to their false senses and insted of asking for spiritual guidence they ask for material gain- i have always had ganesha on my alter because he sits at the right hand of krsna - i only ask him for spiritual helpnever for material gain but not too many people do that i suppose

  • Absolutely, but what sort of spiritual help? Increase your devotion and love towards Krsna? If so, good, but that same purpose is fulfilled by Krsna Himself: "Sarva Dharman Partyajya, Maam ekam Sharanam Vraja, Aham Tvaam Sarva Papebhyo, Mokshayishyaami Maa Suchaha." (BG 18.66). He asks you to surrender unto Him and abandon all other kinds of religions. Why then, pardon me if you find me offensive, go for even Ganesha, when Krsna 'states' to surrender unto Him? But thanks for the comment. :)

  • And oh, yes, not many people, at least as far as I know, do such a thing as ask for spiritual (atma - the one that's part of Krsna Himself) strength from demi-gods. It's a good thing that you do. Hari bol!

  • i dont find you offensive at all i enjoy the conversation , hahah not too many devotees in my area -well not any actualy

i do remember that from the gita, however i suppose im a bit attached to ganeshs because he wwas the first form of god i truely connected with so hes lways had a special place not only on my physical alter but in the alter of my heart aswell

ive always had a connection with buddhism aswell and other things but i simply see it as each persons inturpretation of godhead

  • :) "Each person's interpretation of Godhead."

Well, that's where the entire problem lies, isn't it? Or at least I think so - if every person has his/her way of interpreting Godhead, boy, imagine the 6 billion different interpretations. But that is not so, is it? God has many features, but not the ones we concoct. By authoritative, disciplic succession, we must heed to the ones, you could say, "notarized" versions of God. Please have a look at these: BG 3.11, 3.12, 10.2, 9.25, 10.14, 7.20, 7.23.

  • ive read the bhagavatam :)

what im trying to convey is that krsna is like a painting of a big red apple

some may see it for what it is externaly an apple

others however may see it and be inspired beyond ones wildest conceptions, however no matter how similar our veiw may be to someone elses you have a personal inturpretation

krsnas love is individual for each of us there for our relationship must be individual aswell,

  • :) Well, I do not know. Having a hard time agreeing to that. But thanks for the comment!

  • You r right of course, it would mean that according to someone fantasy the Supreme Truth appears accordingly, this is a new age concoction. Someone thinks its red, so the Supreme becomes red, that is nonsense of course. Not only that, in my small town, many people think, they are all god who wanted to have a human experience. So many conceptions and they r all experts of course, no one wants to accept proper authority
