I just discovered this game tonight, I've played a demo and it looks fantastic. I've been waiting years for a decent modern WWII flight sim and this is the one lol. Excellent music is that in the game?
Say what now? There is no way either aircraft involved would have run dry on fuel in the dogfight. Consider many scenarios... if this was a real life situation the 109's would be carrying 100% fuel; according to historical reports early 109's could reach the mainland of England and still have enough fuel for 20 minutes of fighting before having to turn for home. This particular dogfight is only about 7 minutes long. The spitfires had short range yes, but they also had home field advantage.

You need to use a recording program such as Fraps (used in the video above). Save the replay of your battle, then watch it while fraps is running and record where needed.
Lone Spit versus 4 109's? Nice... though the collision modeling needs work, as can be seen in the end. No plane is going through the thick of those maples and coming out the other side with wings attached.
Still, might have to get this one if the AI is better, or I can go against multiple live players ala Aces High and Warbirds. Nothing like having upwards of 300 players in the same sky at one time. Axis v Allies Mano e Mano...
Yes, it is over the white cliffs of Dover. So far, this seems like a mix between arcade and simulator flying. I do believe the sim side of the game needs alot more work to even come close to competing with IL2. The graphics however, as you can see are simply stunning!
Compared to BOB:SOW I have no clue... simply because I have not seen any actual decent content of BOB:SOW yet... it seems like year by year that game seems to be slipping further and further into the mist.
Yeah well I will believe it when I see it. This sim has been in development for... oh about 7 years now? If it comes out in 2010 then wonderful! But I am not holding my breath because we have seen this before.
Looks like Dover to me. Awesome video, and game looks fantastic too. How will this compete with Maddox Games "Battle of Britain, Storm of War" when it's released in 2010?

It is a simulator as long as you have the right settings. It's flexible enough to allow arcade and simulation modes.

Haha, I already have the game cracked but I am just waiting for the English crack, the game is still fun and playable though.

Maddox is now giving regular updates for SoW:BoB, it's coming along nicely and should be released in 2010
