What have you done finally with all that pearl gouramis when they became too big? And I go buy 1 male and 1 female pearl gourami, But in a tank with very few other fish, do you think they my pearls will breed? (I have a other tank as well, but it's only 30 litres, should I place them in that tank? or in the other one with other fishes as well?)
yeah! Some of them eat like crazy since they were 5 days old while other just die of starvation because they don't recognize food as edible. That's why they vary so much in size...

I think you can keep them in the bigger tank until you see the male building bubble nests. At that moment, you can transfer them into your 30L tank.
