Did anyone else who saw the Firestar origins episiod with the X-Men think that she was the redhead replacement to Marvel Girl (Jean Grey)? Since she was the only original X-Man not shown in her history (well besides Beast :P). Im thinking in this Universe the Origianl X-Men Team was Cyclops, Iceman, Angel and Firestar? Does that mean no Dark Phoenix? And does that Mean Thunderbird lives alot longer than in his brief X-Men comic appearance?

You've got Thunderbird/Warpath/whatever as Wise Native American who can turn into animals (?) and on the same team with Kitty Pryde. Plus, we saw Angel firing laser bolts (!) from his hands in Firestar's origin episode. Plus, Firestar is an X-man. Wha? And why would the mansion even have a Mzae of Madness? Double wha?

Just enjoy it as silly fun without overthinking it too much ;)

@SirRembrant Well, the Iceman origin episode establishes that the original X-men were Cyclops, Angel, Beast, and Marvel Girl, with Iceman the last to join (in the original yellow and black outfits). By the time Firestar joins, the team has become just Cylops, Angel, and Iceman, with Firestar joining them. Then, by the time Juggernaut attacks, the team is Cyclops, Angel, Storm, and Wolverine. Finally, for the X-men adventure, the team is Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Ariel, Thunderbird, Nightcrawler.

@SirRembrant Okay so I just watched the Origins of Iceman featuring Videoman as the villain and in that episiod we see ALL 5 of the original X-Men and their names and powers being used. So for whatever reason Marvel Girl and Beast don't show up at the reunion in this episiod. Im thinking Beast is an Avenger at this time and Marvel Girl? Maybe shes dead as a result of the Phoenix Saga, even thou the team roster does not have all the X-Men during that storyline? Maybe they didn't get invited? LOL

@3636jae His name is Thunderbird, but he died in the X-Men comics on their very first mission together. It was Marvel's way of showing that new students can and will die out on their first adventure and to give the team some much needed story to have to work out over the death of a teamate. Plus his strength was very similar to Colussus, but Colussus is alot stronger then Thunderbird ever was. Also Thunderbird has a younger brother first known as Thunderbird II, but now called Warpath.

as well, Starfire flies by her ability to literally heat the air around her to super hot levels and in essence lfy on them due to the effect (at least how the comics explain it), so turning off the gravity ina ship wouldnt alter that ability one little bit since she would still be able to direct her flight by expelling the air around her...until you open the damn hatch :)

Which is funny considering they wouldn't use The Human Tourch in 70's FF cartoon cause they were afraid kids would start setting themselves on fire so they gave us Herbie the Robot instead??? I know a shame that I know all this stuff lol.

@deepthund Youre almost right. Tony Stark isn't backing Spider-man. The Spider-Friends got all their equipment as a thank you after saving Tony's life TWICE from the Beetle.

It is all explainrd in the episode "The Origin Of The Spider-Friends". If it is on here watch it. I have all the episodes on VHS and DVD.
