It's not a blatant rip-off. It's an homage, if anything. If you own the album you know she credits New Order. Both great songs. This is why I not only like New Order, but I also like Rihanna because she can do alternative rock, too.

Manchester, England? Just curious, what did they label Joy Division under in the UK? Most of us in Phoenix just called it Alternative 'cos they played it on the Alternative Rock station (that was on AM radio, before Alt. Rock ever became mainstream (i.e. before Nirvana, etc.) in the Nineties and ended up on FM stations). I mean, we realized there was New Wave and Punk and Industrial, etc. but it all fit under the "Alternative" umbrella ('ella, 'ella, ey, ey, ey...).<--joking heh. Rihanna.
