Must say this game is superb fun its always played a lot at the weekends with my mum and dad they are really good at it. I got the game totally free for my sony ps3 from - 115 games (.) com there are literally hundreds I couldnt beleive that they are all free also I must say 2:24 was rad

Wait as your ATi drivers come out and give AA. im pretty sure ATi has put in override AA by now.. (well then again, these are ATi drivers, but they've improved, kind of.).
@1sicilian1 the difference is that PS3 runs @ a low 720p resolution... YES i said LOW cause AA AF are disable and the game looks terrible compare to a 720p on pc... besides rendering the physics i run this game all maxed out @ 1920X1200p hehehe once again... can consoles do this??? :)

@xalener Actually beating this game 3 times its quite the opposite. I have beaten this game using the keyboard, 360 controller and the PS3 controller. Out of all the keyboard runs the best. The controls were made for the computer especially the combos. I suggest that you download the demo. It might change your mind.

however. this dosn't mean that crossfire sucks. just that the intel chipset that handle crossfire sucks. the p35/45/55 and the X38/48/58 arn not as good as the brand new 790fx for crossfire. for some reason you will never see a 790fx on an intel cpu socket board.
ATi cards could render that easily without physx. NVidia cards could too without physx. Just having physx gives NVidia a reason to be proprietary and pay off game developers to support their system, making it seem like they have an edge.
Well, they (ATi) dont have the know how of implenting physx on their video cards and such.
Nvidia bought AEIGIA or whatever back in the day, implenting it in their drivers and cards. of course ATi have the power to run physx, but then again its like also saying well ATi cards have the power to run 3d vision surround, its just they cant!!!!

@cozymonk It's not about the rendering. It's about how difficult it is to instruct the machine how to understand what you want it to do. Physx is an instruction set that makes it easier to get the results you want.
I've had my 360 for 2 years and have seen no failures. The 360 has many, many exclusives and although the PS3 has better hardware, the online for it is crap ( Almost no1 has a mic, its unorganized, connecting is shit) I'm not saying the PS3 is shit ( I would get it just for Uncharted, MGS, etc.) but both systems are great...it's just that each console has it's own specific problems
I disagree with the online stuff. My connection is great (I've never disconnected), and I like that there are less people with mics, hearing people constantly talk distracts me. And no shit 360 has more exclusives, it came out before Ps3. Christ, all 360 owners always make that excuse. But of course, I also do love the 360.
x360 have nearly no exclusive at all, most of x360 games come out for pc too, an on pc is alot better, also i have ps3 , and the connection is just as good as x360...its true that just few ppl have a mic, but this is a good thing..still better than hear a crying baby all the time!

I have this game and love the battle damage on the suites and was wondering if when you upgrade your armour, if, you lose your scars and rips and/or if your suite changes apearance
scars / rips etc occur as the story progresses, there's no way to fix or prevent it from happening, upgrading armor doesn't affect it either. Its just a little extra polish they threw in.

I was able to play the demo with full Physx enabled on a lowly X2 4800+ CPU with a GTX 260 Superclocked video card, it hovered closer to 30fps than 60 but still very playable.

the two main things that would accomodate great gameplay are cpu and gpu (central processing unit,a nd graphics processing unit). nowadays, most games utilize high clocked dual cores; so any core 2 duos or athlon II x2 dual cores should be enough to handle most gaming tasks. gpu on the other hand would require you to have at least an 8800gs (nvidia) or hd4670 (ati). those two cards can be had for about 50$ and is sufficient enough to handle most modern games with AA included in the mix. add 4gig
Hell, I have a laptop that has 9600GT and it can handle almost any game on the market. Not saying I can run it at super high settings but it is a laptop. Not to mention, I only paid around 650 to watch HD videos on the move. I don't know how this guy comes up with a comp that cost 5k to only play COD4....

You're better off buying a new laptop. Upgrading GPU in laptops are near impossible or a huge pain in the ass. Should check out some of Acer's gaming laptops. Pretty cheap. You can get a decent one with 9600 gt for around 650-700 bucks or less if you wait for a sale.

the only way is to go to my documents=>eidos=>batman AA=>bmgame=>config= userengine.ini , open it with notepad, and turn physxlevel=0 to 1.
Then you'll have physx effects...and the game will crash randomly.

hahahahahahahhahahaha you're hilarious man. not only does pc has anti-aliasing, it also has anisotrophic filtering. and u can force up to resoultions of 1920x1080p. the ps3 runs the game at 1280x720 and they upscale it without AA. and you tell me that the ps3' verison looks better? you know nothing about a pc man.

Hey man im sorry for pissing you off. I love the pc and your right it does have a higher resolution on it but in my eyes the console version does look nicer. But the pc is a great gameing system and im sorry for my comment if it offended u.
(By the way i work for a Bethesda, we made Fallout 3 and oblivion, both great game titles)

its really hard for me to believe your statement " in my eyes, it looks nicer ". how does 1920x1080p which is translated to 2,073,600 pixels on a screen vs 1280x720p ( 921,600 pixels). you cant say that 921,600 pixels on a screen look better than 2 MILLION pixels. thats more than a million pixels more than what a ps3 can output. u cant deny real evidence. theres just no possible way the ps3 looks better. even in ur "own eyes". it just doesnt addup.

I don't know why all these people are complaining about computers. In all honesty they are much more reliable and easy to use then a console...And those who think an amazing gaming comp is 3k+, if you are smart you would just get all the parts for your comp and put it together in the tower. Much cheaper and you can get the parts you want.

You really don't need to spend 5000 monies on a PC for gaming. EVEN if you want to run everything at it's highest setting. Mine was £730 nearly two years ago and I have run every game maxed out at 1920x1080. Just because you CAN buy an i7 with 12GB RAM, doesn't mean you actually need too to play games. Whichever muppet said there are no games on the PC is, well, a muppet.

youd be surprised that a decent pc can now be built for under 500$usd which will handle the game at near max settings including physx. 5g+ wtf? stop talking like youre living in the year 2003 where pc gaming was expensive. its really really cheap now to get a pc that will max out the game with the phsyx. i can talk to you all day about this

Which videocard do you have? Im sure you need a newer videocard as 128MB is old spec.. videocards these days have 512mb - 1GB of memory, it would help if you listed your current PC specs such as CPU type & speed / Videocard / Amount of system memory.

the two main things that would accomodate great gameplay are cpu and gpu (central processing unit,a nd graphics processing unit). nowadays, most games utilize high clocked dual cores; so any core 2 duos or athlon II x2 dual cores should be enough to handle most gaming tasks. gpu on the other hand would require you to have at least an 8800gs (nvidia) or hd4670 (ati). those two cards can be had for about 50$ and is sufficient enough to handle most modern games with AA included in the mix. add 4gig

Hell, I have a laptop that has 9600GT and it can handle almost any game on the market. Not saying I can run it at super high settings but it is a laptop. Not to mention, I only paid around 650 to watch HD videos on the move. I don't know how this guy comes up with a comp that cost 5k to only play COD4....

You're better off buying a new laptop. Upgrading GPU in laptops are near impossible or a huge pain in the ass. Should check out some of Acer's gaming laptops. Pretty cheap. You can get a decent one with 9600 gt for around 650-700 bucks or less if you wait for a sale.

Hey, can u hit me up with a nice computer brand that can play games like Call of duty 4 at full graphics capacity at the price you say, because every computer ive looked at over the net is Fuking expensive, I customized an ALienware computer and its aprox, price wwas around 20G's. So either what your saying is too good to be true that i can get a 500 buck computer or i have been looking in all the wrong places.

WTF? 20000 for one PC? You better be running a government database or something. Alienware are way overpriced especially since Dell bought them out. Build one yourself. It's not that expensive to build a nice gaming rig. Plus, you'll get better hardware when you build it yourself and get the case you want.

Actually sorry, MY computer is 1000$ but i was on the alienware website and was checking how much it is to buy a fully pimped out alienware and it came to 20g's. But my computer was only like 1000 bucks.

A 1k computer is more than adequate to play most of the games. Not saying high graphics on everything. Of course I am assuming you mean 1k for the comp only and not like $700 monitors Apple sells. Not that any gamer would ever get a Mac.

Why not get a GTX 260 or 280 instead? More ram is always good but if you get 4 gigs plus make sure you run a 64 bit OS or else it would do any good.

1.They made Killer Croc too easy
2. The graphics are awesome!!!
3. Poison Ivy is good..8P

The history of the genre of the game itself should be more than reason to pick it up. Anyone can take a main stream type of game like Halo and make a half decent game out of it. Way too easy
The fact that usually all comic book games suck and Arkham Asylum blew that out of the water should give you more reason to pick it up. Then again everyone has an opinion. If you want to be another mindless sheep following the flock by sucking on Halo or CoD's tits then be my guest. But yes its impressive
