  • widowedeight, you're completely misunderstanding the whole idea behind power. to believe you're restoring a mustang is laughable. you don't know jack shit. of course a tune on a turbo'd vehicle would wake it up a lot. put the same into the gto and it will pull bus lengths on you. try maxing out your 4 banger and maxing out an ls1/ls2 and notice how dusted your ass will get.

  • put 5-6k in any decent car and you're looking at a fast car... I really don't like people saying if this car had that, etc. Let's actually look at cars already modded. You will see a lot more faster gto's then cobalts. Any car can be compared, but you know what I mean. one is heavy RWD v8 and has torque and cobalt is lighter, 4cyl s/c or turbo and FWD. there really is no comparison

  • @babroncos11 5 things, 1) my cobalt runs 12's not 10's, 2) if you put about 5k in a ss/tc you can break 500whp and the only thing you need motor wise is new pistons 3) i have a 65mustang that i rebuilt, so i'm the cool kid with the m3 colored mustang, that just so happens to have a quick cobalt, 4) your a tool, and 5) fuck the gto i'd much rather have a new mustang, less than 5k in mods (counting suspension and tires) and your well over 500whp and at minimal deep in the 10's

  • @widowedeight Well first of all cobalts suck and are gay as hell....just like a tc which i cant believe you even mentioned cuz theyre one of the gayest cars out there....how do you expect to get 500whp with 5grand ina cobalt? sorry buddy but it jsut aint gonna happen...and mustangs SUCK except the new 5.0 which FINALLY ford made a good car that can hang. fuck the gto? why? you can get a low mileage 05or06 gto for 17grand and a new mustang is like 40grand....so you could spend 23g on the gto haha

  • @babroncos11 i know 4 people that have spent 4-6k and have hit high 400's low 500's, it's just a big turbo kit and a tune.the new mustang 6cyl is 310hp and 25k, the new mustang gt is 31k, and 4k on the rousche kit, be over 500whp on 7psi with a full warranty, so i think i would rather spend the 35k, and get a nasty mustang with a full warranty for a weekend driver, and keep my cobalt as my dd, and my 65mustang as my show car. not my fault your poor, stupid bitch

  • a turbo kit itself is normally at least 5grand alone plut dyno time and other things. Me poor? Ah you mean the fact that im 19 and have already bought a fully loaded 08 rx8 and at the end of the year am buyin a 05 gto..buyin it all on my own...its not being poor. its being young but wokring my ass off..im sorry i dont have a extra 7g laying around to slap a turbo on my car...you know i have this thing called responsibilities

  • @widowedeight so once again...in stock form a gto will out perform a stang except maybe the new 5.0L but a new 5.0L cost 23G more so you could spend 10grand on the gto and still save 13grand compared to buying the STOCK stang....and if you buy a stang then your A TOOL cuz EVERYONE has a mustang cuz theyre jsut the coolest cars ever....oh wait they kinda suck pretty bad and are popular cuz they USE TO BE cheap..and are now way overpriced...have a good day you cobalt driving bitch...suck it homo

  • @kopperman1474 i never said i have 5k in the motor, but if i did the car would be fine the only thing that needs upgraded before 500hp is the pistons and clutch, the trans needs rebuilt at 600hp, and beyond that i'm not sure cause no one has broken 600whp with the motor yet that i know of, although there are 5 or 6 people i know that have over 450whp, the axle from what i heard is comparative to TRUCK axle, and the motor is built from factory, except for the shitty pistons (450whp max)

  • you do know that there are at least 5 bolt on only cobalts that i know of in the 11's right now, no motor work, just a tune, exhaust, bigger frontmount, better intercooler piping, intake, slicks, and smaller front brakes (cause the stock 17" brakes make it so the smallest wheel you can put on is 18") i think the record so far for bolt on only is 11.79@115...... so your saying a gto with just bolton's and slicks (no motor work, n20, or forced induction) can hit mid/low 11's?
