Funny... I was injured 3 years ago (fell down some stairs and ripped tendons/muscles)... WCB paid my lost wages without hassle (checks arrived within 2 weeks of filing my claim), expedited my MRIs (2 of them scheduled within the week they were ordered by my Dr), paid for 2 months of physio without a peep, and were willing to keep funding me for wages and rehabilitation longer than I wanted/needed.

They are a group of criminals operating under the guise of a 'safety net' that is supposed to be there for you when you are unfortunate enough to need compensation for work related injuries. Instead they actually rob, maim & kill people. The myriad of techniques they use to do this are outright acts of aggression/malice and are purely psychopathic; such is the impetus of an avaricious corporation whose prime objective is to prevent payouts in a system linked much too closely to that of medicine.

I have also been in a horrific accident. It was almost 13 years ago. I think about it every single frickin' day of my life.

How they arrived at their decision/CON-clusion I have no fuckin' idea. A permanent disability of only 24.65% was awarded $566.00 a month pension CAN NEVER GO BACK TO DRYWALL, HIS DOCTOR SUPPORTS 100% DISABILITY ! they have tried 5 diffrent retraining options all failed because of lorne's limitations..last and final offer from wcb A PARTS PERSON. it's so sad :(

I'm not really seeing a lot of solid facts here, mostly a lot of swearing and angry language.From this it does seem like WORKSAFEBC is not doing their job in protecting basic rights of some workers.My spouse had a great experience with WORKSAFE BC when he got hurt at work,but I'd like to see more into the negative side of things. Maybe make this video longer so people can be more informed with facts and examples? Or go to a local paper ... this seems like very interesting stuff!

Thank you so much for watching. I appologize for the 'raw language' and depending on the topic my 'truckers mouth' will vary. I will be 100% honest in my saying I am not very educated when it comes to matters related to WCB. I have a grade 9 education and my husbands been a drywall finisher for the last 18 years. We just know what is happening to injured workers is not right,and how that makes us feel. We are learning some hard lessons as we go along. I wish others would post :)

My name is John B and I had fallen 28 feet to concrete June 23rd 2005 I was a Glassier I tripped and fell 6-8 feet hit head on second floor knocking my self out, falling an additional 20 feet, landed on left side of my body ?
In December of 2007 WorkSafe cuts me of wage loss befits, vocational rehab befits start I am advised that I can not return to my old job so grab a newspaper and find a job.

Maybe a relative of his did, and he saw how they were treated, so he decided to work for them to protect himself.
