  • always a pleasure to see Vanessa on floor

    stuck double double

    stuck full in

such a pitty she was couldn't compete in EF

  • "The DT DB is what she competed in her first worlds and we haven't seen it again until this year, have we mitch?" -

    "Very impressive work". LOL

  • 14.500???

    it should be a 15.000 !

  • She knows how to stick a landing. :)

  • So glad she has her double double back =]

  • That was hands down THE best floor routine of the AA final! What a double double! And I can't believe how far she's come along in terms of dance! I used to hate her presentation with a passion and yet she stunned us with a beautifully performed routine.

    Welcome back Vanessa!

  • @AnnaPavlovaFan I agree completely. I find Ferrari to be underscored and under-rated. Remember her EF routine on FX from last year in Rotterdam?

  • Did the commentator say "She looked like a little PIG when we first saw her?"

  • WOW! That was a shame that she didn't get to compete in EF's!

  • Such an amazing routine! :;D

  • Christine, I thought Ferrari did her Silivas in 2008 as well. 2006 wasn't the last time we saw it. And Ferrari is proof that a stocky power gymnast can dance elegantly. I hope every American gymnast sees this.

  • Not a fan of the music, but she works it so well and she's improving a lot! :)

  • Lovely floor set from her. I'm so sad that she didn't get to compete in the event finals - I just hope that she'll win a medal at Euros next year.

  • @FallenRose101 I hope she wins a medal at the Olympics she deserves it!

  • She does a Silivas again! SHE DOES A SILIVAS AGAIN! Oh my Gosh, somebody just catch me, I'm gonna faint!!

  • As the commentator said , that was fabulous, Vanessa just shows that you can do the most difficult skills, and dance as well !

  • Ferrari has made me proud of my Italian heritage!!! I just hope she recovers well from her most recent injury and performs to her best in 2012!!!

  • WONDERFUL! Its great to see her doing the double double again!! I hope she can keep up the good work for the Olympics next year! She's always so solid on Floor! I'm a fan of hers!

  • She is fighting for a comeback... I really love her and her style... Hope she'll got along for 2012... :-)

  • That's a real double double, Wiebs.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 That double double is the best performed since Shawn's 2008 routine

  • @brdbarreira It is. It really is.

  • @brdbarreira Nevermind, Mai Murakami's is the best haha. Almost forgot about her!

  • @brdbarreira

    Victoria Moors, Gymnix 2011. YWIA

  • @FlicTuckFull Or... /watch?v=hTwzmLBstCw... Perfect form, perfect technique, super height.

  • @brdbarreira Seriously, wtf, since 2006 I didn't get why I should watch her and BLAM. Amazing. No opera music, just beautiful.

  • @PDQChopin Yeah... her old floor music was terrible, a lot of people screaming. This is so much better!

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 I agree with you, Jordyn's double double is good but she just jerks it round at different speeds whereas Vanessa's just flows and she sticks it where Jordyn doesn't.

  • @liukin95 Yes, Wieber's twisting technique is really horrid, especially compared to Ferrari's.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 What do you find that is so terrible with Wiebers double double?

  • @gymheads176 The flexed feet, having no set, the extremely early rotation on her back handspring, they uncontrolled landing where she doesn't finish twisting...

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 (1/2)Okay if you watch any of them she definitely finishes the twist. Yes she has uncontrolled landings on them, her form isn't tidy, her set is twisted a tiny bit early, but she does set and you can see that by the height she gets. She is 16 years old!! Its very easy to criticize athletes about anything.her form is bad,she is too low, she stumbled out of it...but until you go out there and train your whole life and dedicate everything you have to the sport and being the

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 best YOU can be tell me how it feels to be insulted the way you insult so many of these athletes. Its one thing to study the sport or to be a judge. But its another to coach and do the sport. You put all you have into it and then there are nasty people like you who insult because their behind a keyboard. You aren't the kind of person who feels bad but you should because you are a gutless jerk.

  • @gymheads176 Whoa, that was uncalled for. Really, there are more fans that watch NBC and see that it's okay to trash-talk athletes from "threatening" countries, opposed that criticize athletes of their own country/other countries because they WANT them to get better as a gymnast. Secondly, when we complain about a result, we complain about judging; those that complain about the athletes are worried they're a threat (i.e. "Musty-Diva" or "Komova-crybaby" haters and USA worshippers)

  • @ChainChomp2 Thank you for both comments, especially the last part. I find it incredulous that people think just because I tend to point out the flaws of gymnasts, I hate them. I wouldn't hate anyone and certainly not someone I don't know. My point is, there are more amazing qualities about Wieber than there are bad ones. I'm not going to take the time to list them, especially on a video where she displays some very evident mistakes...

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 In all of your comments you are very negative towards Wieber and many people has commented so. You may think your being a spectator that can judge, and yes you do have that right. But if you were Jordyn Wieber how would you feel if you read all of the negative comments you've said about her?

  • @gymheads176 "In all of your comments you are very negative towards Wieber" watch?v=nbAkPXJWXJY /watch?v=nVsrX3KcTBM /watch?v=TEhNdH4pfoI& /watch?v=rvE12TozP8E& /watch?v=hKVe6XjGONM Maybe you should stop assuming such things. Those are positive comments. People have to accept that someone's going to say something negative about them (and I do it about their gymnastics, not personality). I'm sure judging by your very apparent bias, you've bashed Komova before. CONTINUED.

  • @gymheads176 But point being, if you want to call someone a gutless jerk about criticizing a gymnast, there are lots and lots of more suitable people to call that other than the one you were talking to.

  • @ChainChomp2 It doesn't matter who says it they are all being extremely disrespectful. all of these gymnasts are amazing. they wouldn't be at worlds if they weren't. but criticizing them all for their gymnastics and even their emotions is ridiculous. It was very called for. ShawnVikakomova2012 has posted very mean and inappropriate things about gymnasts Wieber in particular on a large number of videos. I don't care who your insulting, being a gymnast myself i find it very offensive.

  • @gymheads176 This comment shows that you are someone who doesn't understand concepts. First of all, I didn't say Wieber twists onto the mat, I said she continues twisting on her hop which is why she is turned on it. This SPORT is about JUDGING. Frankly, Wieber has so amazing qualities. I thought it was blatantly obvious and that it would be pointless in saying her Silivas is what it isn't. Also, people can judge whoever they want. "Why doesn't the Mona Lisa smile?" can you paint like Da Vinci?

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 Your right I cant paint like DA Vinci. And that was very pointless BTW. But you need to know that because someone sees things differently from you doesnt mean your always right. Olympic judges get things wrong and you need to soften your head and accept you aren't always right. And Ive been an elite gymnasts for years, I think i do know a little something about concept

  • @gymheads176 CONTINUED. The Da Vinci comment was saying that even though no one has his talent in art, people still critique his works. Try to understand even a simple analogy, please? I can't do anything like Wieber, but I can still critique her. I know I'm not always right. I'm very open to being corrected. Just because you haven't proven me wrong I somehow won't "admit when I'm wrong"? And I'm very open to listen to your opinion, as I have been all this time.

  • @gymheads176 I probably have never spoken to someone as hypocritical as you and insulting. I hardly said anything that would/should offend you in any way while you keep insulting me in personal messages. I tend to post more positive comments on YouTube. Since you say my comments are all negative, I can conclude that you don't watch (probably never heard of) Komova, Porgras, Mustafina, or other current terrific gymnastics because I leave them very positive comments. Learn not to insult people.

  • @gymheads176 I know a lot of people have commented towards you but I think you just may not understand what's being said. It's acceptable to criticize gymnastics. (Before I say this, the Russians are my 2nd favourite team, after the Chinese) The Russian Amanars in 2010 had so many form errors, but am I allowed to say that just because a handful of people can compete the vault? AG comes down to finding errors. If it didn't, Maroney wouldn't deserve a vault title anymore than Nabieva.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 What's wrong with Jordyn's double double?

  • @jyosefr I know, Jordyn performs it very well. Gymnastic fans are so catty; they both perform it well!

  • @jyosefr Flexed feet, crossed ankles, terrible set, huge pre-flight rotation, and uncontrolled landings which usually come with a large step or hop in which her body continues twisting...

  • Absolutely gorgeous

  • Beautiful :)
