  • @LouTheMetalhead

    This IS a simple lesson.

Or... Were you saying that because this one is easy and it took you a while to find it?

  • 1:10 Black Sabbath \m/

  • Yeah, I noticed that too.

  • could some one say how to play the Diminished scale by haf & whol steps?

  • it always 1 and a half steps, then on the next string go up on fret do it again and so on, learn your theory kid

  • i'm trying ^^

    i study alone :) but i think i've got it now :)

4 monts and i know the minor, major dim. chords :) and all7 mode from the major and dim :)

could some one help me with chord vocings:)???????????

is ths the i take a chord and play it in a diffret way?like a Emin its E-B-E-G and the vocing is G-B-E-G ????

  • @ChaosHaKeR If I recall, that would be written like this:

    G/Em

The G refers to the root. You could also have the bass as a B, which would be B/Em

  • @ChaosHaKeR it's an Em chord with a G as the bass note [the bass note is the most important note in a chord] these are called slash chords [now don't think of Slash from velvet revolver] it is actualy a chord wich does not have the root note as the bass note! Caconymic is right it is written as the name of the root and the name of the bass note [wich is NOT the root!] separated by a / [slash] but the chord name is written b4 the slash & the bass note is after wich is writen like Em/G NOT G/Em

  • opeth uses this in their music a lot i think. great progressive metal music

  • Does anybody know if the three notes played to illustrate the Tritone here are the same three notes in Black Sabbath's "Black Sabbath?"

I know nothing about music theory, but it sounds very similar to me.

  • Yeah that's right!These are exactly the same notes! Sabbath's going : G - g - C#

  • YAY DEVILS NOTE!

  • @ledsabbath165 interval!

  • my favourite interval...
