That's why parents need to start beating their kids... not extremely hurt them... but enough to where they fucking listen.. Momz beat me and kept me in the buggy.
Of course hardly anyone will admit their precious little snowflakes act like wild hooligans, but I worked in a grocery store for quite some time and I have to tell you that you are insane. So many parents just don't even pay attention or care when their child is acting like a rabid banshee and making everyone want to shoot themselves in the face. They smile and think it's cute and probably sneer at other children doing the same annoying shit. Your kid is only THAT special and perfect to YOU.
Don't want kids, but I have a niece and I'm glad to say she's NEVER done this. She actually saw another kid throwing a tanty (Australian expression for a temper tantrum) and after staring at them for a few minutes turned to my sister and said "Mummy, why are they doing that?" XD My sister just said "because they're being very silly and naughty"
That sort of behaviour was a completely alien concept to her, thus going to show it's all about how you raise them ;)
@Mokurentate Yep! Laughing my butt off at anyone who is like "Oooh my daughter/niece/long lost baby friend would neeevvvver act like that!". Those people must be the delusional ones who think their kids are always hilarious, even while they pull stranger's hair on the bus. To everyone else it looks like what it is - a kid eing a rabid banshee monster.
I'm also willing to chat about this in Youtube private messages. There is no character limit, and there is no public pressure from the forums. Plus it gives us a chance to better illestrate our points. I promise I'll be civil.
This is a great example of why irresponsible adults shouldn't have children. Pretty much any parent who's been in this situation knows what to do.
I think its sad people use these moments in EVERY persons childhood as a deterrent to having kids.
Also, for all those adults out there who think having kids is a suckers move, realize the truth, only mature adults can handle being a parent, adults that are still kids can't. And it takes some guts, its OK to be afraid.
@valegorn Reproducing is a basic animal instinct that insists we preserve our species. It does not require either maturity nor a high level of intelligence.
However, making a conscious decision not to bring more children into an already overcrowded and overpopulated world, requires both.
It's okay to be afraid of going against your instincts and to take an informed and intelligent decision too. It takes guts to tell people "Well, I'm NOT going to have children" and not succumb to peer pressure
@LadyAvalon I get you on the peer pressure, but have you ever looked at a person who has gone through the experience of being a parent vs someone who hasn't of the same age? There is a HUGE gap of maturity. Fact, being a parent is a very educational and maturing experience, one that you can't get any other way.
Also, hiding behind the overpopulation argument as apposed to accepting the fact you're afraid to be a parent is both immature and unintelligent.
Also, before you go all crazy on me, let me state my stance.
I have nothing against people who have chosen not to have kids.
I DO have a problem with childfree-by-choice people being prejudice toward those people with kids. I respect your choice, but the moment you bark up that tree I'm more then happy to show you how stupid you are.
The childfree movement will never win the argument (childfree > parenting). But you are correct to want acceptance. So don't be a hypocrite.
Nobody said it took intelligence and maturity to MAKE a baby, this is obvious. It does take maturity and intelligence to RAISE a child. It also take a whole lot of guts.
The reason being a parent is applauded is because its hard work, takes guts and patience, being selfless, and is an overall achievement. Not having kids is NOT an achievement because it requires no work, no guts, and no responsibility.
@valegorn Mister, I live in UK, I see 17 year olds (and younger) raising kids up every day. One of my best friends here is a social worker, and she can tell you that bringing up a kid doesn't magically grant you maturity nor intelligence, or the State would have no need of taking kids away from their parents. Also if what you say were true, there would be no child abuse from parents, nor would the world be in it's sorry state.
You can't just sit there and say people who don't want kids are >
@LadyAvalon Ah HA!!! you bring up an excellent point!
There is a reason why people are applauded for being a parent, because its hard, and not everybody can do it. Those who can't either get their children taken away, or raise another bad citizen.
My point was that for those that stick with it, and actually try to raise their kid(s) (and not being self absorbed) become some of the most mature, patient, and understanding people in society. Its crossing the finish line that counts.
Just because you see 17 year old's failing, doesn't mean they wont ever be good parents. This is what kills me about people like you, all you see is the hear and now.
What also kills me is someone needs to win the "best parent alive" award in order for you people to be ok with other people's parenting.
I'm sorry, if you don't kids and you complain about others parenting, STFU, you have no ground to stand on
Not everybody is a perfect parent, I applaud those that try.
@valegorn Perhaps if people who wanted to be parents went through the same procedures those who want to adopt do, there would be less bad parenting in the world. And it's not a question of applauding those who try. If the child is abused, or neglected are you going to pat the parents on the back and say, well at least you tried, good job! I think not. Parents are responsible for a tiny human being. Trying isn't good enough.
Sorry, we as a world haven't taken the God given right to make a child. When that happens, things free nations will no longer exist.
Yes, if there is child abuse or neglect, then obviously something needs to change, or the child be taken into foster care. Yes on some level any parent deserves applauding, but they have to be making an attempt to being a good parent. If you're not attempting, then boo on them.
I have to disagree with you, TRYING to be a good parent is in many cases good enough. Parenting doesn't come natural to many people, so they're going to try and fail many times. The trick is to keep trying and not give up. So yes, Trying is good enough because it leads to success.
So does that mean we scorn those parents who are failing, but are still trying to succeed? Or do we support and encourage them? Many people like yourself would rather scorn them, which is sad.
@valegorn The amount of support depends on how badly they are affecting the child. It's no use applauding parents when they might be permanently damaging a child. It's not a question of scorn, it is a question of responsibility. If a parent is doing a bad job of being a parent, they shouldn't be allowed to continue. Kids are not toys. They are fragile human beings and deserve an upbringing that won't scar them. You have too much sympathy for the parents and not enough for the kids.
@LadyAvalon This goes without saying, if the behavior of the parent continues to harm the child then yes, authorities need to step in. But does this mean we take every baby away from every parent that accidentally dropped their child?
I believe in Child Protective Services, they protect those children from parents that wont change or can't.
You need to understand, parents are going to make mistakes, do we throw every parent who isn't perfect in jail and/or take their kid away?
@LadyAvalon cowards and idiots, because we are neither. If you don't know how to debate without insulting the person who doesn't agree with you, then it is quite obvious in my opinion that you are not mature enough to take part in a polite argument. And I will thank you from refraining from insulting a good lot of people who have left comments on my channel. Go do it on your own.
@philmo211 The reason you're child free is because you can't handle being a parent. Not every person actually grows up, so its ok if you still want to be a little kid in a 30 year old body. Immature people think they're being clever by not having kids, when in actuality you're keeping yourself from maturing even more.
Also it take some balls to be a parent, so sure, we're the sucker, but you're the one who's afraid and immature, kiddo.
@valegorn You seem to be making the incorrect assumption that child-rearing is a prerequisite for maturity. Some people are good parents, most are terrible. It takes a very mature individual to come to terms with the fact that he or she should not be entrusted with the emotional and physiological well-being of a child. Maybe if we had more strenuous measures in place for potential parents we could control overpopulation and lower the prevalence of child abuse.
Allow me to clarify myself for you, child-rearing (when done correctly) WILL make a person more mature. Since there is no set value for maturity, one can only become more mature, or less mature. Naturally we grow more mature as we age, some faster than others, but parenting is a great way to accelerate the process of becoming mature. Even if you are a terrible parent, as long as you're attempting to be a parent, you will learn from the experience hence become more mature.
@valegorn You're the one who made the claim that child-rearing will make a person more mature, yet you provide no evidence to support that claim. You're also making the assumption that "attempting to be a parent" involves striving towards a (more or less) single universal ideal parent figure. This varies from person to person. How can we commend a parent for striving to be better? Because he or she spends more time with the child? How about a stone-cold creationist who home-schools her children?
It's pretty common knowledge that experiences make us wiser. Parenting is a pretty educating experience, if you can't see that and require evidence, then you're too far gone to be helped.
Striving to be better at (insert most anything here) is generally praised. I don't understand your question. Society always commends someone who's trying to be better. Why can't we commend someone who's trying to be a better parent?
Who are we to decide who can rear kids and who can't? Yes there are terrible parents out there, but to be honest, I don't know a single perfect parent. Everybody at one point or another was a terrible parent. What I think separates good parents from bad ones is a good parent is constantly striving to be a better parent, bad ones don't care. But since that's hard to measure, I guess we'll just have to keep encouraging people to be good parents. Parentcontrol = Nazism, no?
We are evolved animals living in a social contract and have agreed upon a set of rules that allow us certain freedoms; freedoms that do not encroach on the basic human rights of others. A child should not be a learning platform for parents. Allowing a child the opportunity to think critically for itself and guaranteeing it a minimum acceptable living standard are examples of those "basic rights." If you think those rights are being provided for most children today, you need to open your eyes.
It sounds to me like you're not a parent. Some of the best lessons we learn in life come from parenting. Granted using kids as a source of learning is not the reason we have kids, but a bi-product. So weather you like it or not, children will be a platform for learning.
Only 20% of children live in poverty (so to correct you, yes, most children are being provided for). I don't know of any parent that doesn't encourage their child to think for themselves.
What do you really gain by having kids? I'm sure a real hobby will bring just as much joy and happiness as a kid. It seems like people just have kids, because it's the normal thing to do, but I bet a lot of people regret that decision. If your life is freaking boring as hell then I can see why someone would want a kid, but if you actually have a semi-exciting life then I don't see how having a kid would help.
maybe when it was 1980s n back but now you can forget about it they get more corrupted , not only they get like this now they become more getto . the generation has gotten more Ruff never mind how expensive it is you know how hard it is to raise a child people dont know they think when its small ohh how cute wait till they get in there teens now you haft to have alot of money many have them to collect welfare or mainly men do it just to please there women but really dont want one in todays time
two sticks cant make a kid......ROFL seriously that boy should have been beaten to within a centimeter of his life, taken to the hospital, say he fell (of course the kid would agree that he fell) and make him fear you for the rest of his life.
@Themastercode1235 Beat so hard and put the fear of God in him, and he will be a nice good boy. Just sayin, as a parent you have the right to WHIP your child.
@mrlijones89 yeah, but you cant make your child scared of you...you should make them feel welcome around you. imagine one day a kid got a gun and went and shot his old age dad for revenge for all his abuse when he was young...lol
@Themastercode1235 I'm sorry, but I'm done with this convo because I won't be getting anyone pregnant for a good LONG while. "I wrap my rascal twice, cus i want it to be joyless and without pleasure. Its a form of punishment for the supermodels"

Yeah what they forget to mention is that kids don't stay that way forever kids grow up and if u discipline a child properly the kid won't throw tantrums like that. Bad parenting breeds horrible brats. Now as for this ad we all know that's acting and i have never seen anything like that in real life oh another thing if everyone felt that way the world as we know it would cease to exist just because theres 1 actor in a tv commercial doesn't mean u shouldn't have kids this commercial is dumb.
@nopenotgoingtowork You haven't seen me then. I WAS like that, and my mama would routinely put me over her lap to give me a well deserved spanking.
And the decision to have kids or not depends on every person. It's a decision we reach after weighing our options and our economic possibilities and whether we feel we are responsible enough to take care of a helpless human being. Not just because we see an add.
@nopenotgoingtowork lol i did see something like this not as bad though a moms two children was upset with each other. one kicked her other child hard twice. while the parent said dont do that. the girl was a total brat.
unlike most of the people commenting here- I WANT to have kids! It is NOT selfish for a person to have kids!!!! How would you feel if your parents said they didn't want kids? Then YOU would have never even been FRICKIN born!! YOU wouldn't EXIST!!!!
@snakesrcute " YOU wouldn't EXIST!!!!" This is exactly why some of you breeders (forgive me for using that) look so stupid, showing that you cannot think. Exactly what would be wrong with us not existing? How would this *harm* us? What is better than non-existence?
What's going on earth is mind and body SLAVERY, ABUSING AND CRUELNESS for one soul, not only that is irresponsible act to bring a child while you have no control on his suffer he is going to have, but he might bring more thousands of babies who's going to be totally out of your control and they will suffer only because your brutal decision.
so go to holocaust survivors and tell them to praise their grand fathers for bringing them to that "beautiful" world.
yes, millions of dead are better than trillions of trillions of trillions of humans suffering and dying after those millions if they were alive and stupid enough to throw babies here!
@snakesrcute LOL, you non-thinkers always use this stupid line...IF we did't exist, how exactly would that be a problem for us? Yea, I thought so. "Wise men think before they speak............ (finish your part snakesrcute)"
Bringing kids to this world is like throw a baby into an infinate hell.
not only that this life is cruel and disguesting, you might end up with serious problems with you children that might screen out any rational feeling that you might have about it, which makes you poor and suffering for all your life-
for example
your child is depressed- you have nothing to do, but seeing him suffering from that genetic disease, i hate my parents for bringing me to that getto, i will never have a child.
People always say that to me, too. I don't understand what sort of gratification they would get out of making such provocative predictions. Oh wait yeah, I do. They know it pisses me right off.
I'm never having kids, at least not my own. I'll adopt or go to an orphanage where the poor children don't have families, rather than pushing out some screaming brat who's a mini-me. I understand that most people do want children, but I just can't see their way. And when I said all this in class all the boys said things like 'Oh you'll want them in the future.' No I will not. They don't understand. Which is precisely why I am going to get a tubal ligation as soon as I'm old enough.
I seriously hate kids. I will NEVER make a girl pregnant.
I saw a video of a guy getting his ass beat by his WHOLE CLASS of 20 retards. Is this the kind of fucked up worthless world we live in? and unless the family values of the 1950s is back on track it'll only get worse. It just seems that no one in this day and age knows how to solve their own problems, and GODFORBID changed themselves..... (continued)
@TheDictatorMatt These are the kind of commercials that the people need to see more of. Not just like this one but of other such things, such as anything that promotes logic and intellect, aside from all the add we see daily, mcdonalds soda/pop ads. Etc. etc. etc.
That's why he's my ex. I thought he was kidding, but it turned out he was dead serious. He actually said "I'm not going to wear a condom, I want kids". No matter how horny I was, I walked out that door.
they'd never get away with such a great ad like that over here in america. hell, they'd rather sanction nurseries in high schools than run an ad campaign like that.
i wish they would dispense birth control pills, patches, and the morning after pill to all females of child bearing age and make it fuckin compulsory!
i'm sick of all these brats brought into the world by a bunch of morons that don't take the time to raise them into constructive citizens.
I really dont see myself haveing kids in the near future. I would be devastated if I got a women pregnant and she wanted to keep it. My wish is to have sex without making babies kind of ironic? But I'm stessed out about getting a woman pregnant even though my body craves sex. I honestly dont know what to do;unless I went with a woman who I really liked to a clinic to get TUBAL LIGATION (TUBES TIED)
@MisterClean121 Normally, I don't answer the comments, because I feel everybody is entitled to their own opinion. But that last part of your comment offended me as a woman. Don't want kids? Get a vasectomy. It's clean, simple and reversible should you change your mind in the future, which the tubal ligation is NOT
Do some research. There are actually two versions of tubal ligation, one IS reversible, the other of which (the one I had) is not, but still leaves artificial insemination as an option if you were to change your mind (as if I would).
You sound like my boyfriend (fears of getting stuck with some woman who gets preg and wants to keep it, he hates them as much as I do). Having a tubal isn't very painful, and I know it's possible even if you hadn't had kids already!
Never had I had the image of raising kids, or even being called "Daddy". Imagine all the money, time, and other personal things saved with a life of no kids.
@pupydejz Hahaha please don't reproduce enough monsters in this world already. oh another think jackasses a guy is just as responsible for the baby as the woman stop blaming the woman idiots a baby didn't ask to be put here.
@p1gta1p So if a woman wants a baby shes a dumb whore that wants to ruin mens life that don't want kids? Ur a asshole again another abortion that should've taken place a woman can have a baby by a man that wants a kid u moron and if a guy thinks a baby is "ruining" his life then hes a inhuman monster who isn't even good enough to have sex with babies are gift from God not a punishment their innocent pure little creatures u guys on here are jackasses i hope all of u losers burn in hell terrible.
@nopenotgoingtowork If the world was populated with more adults like p1gta1p, pupydejz, and myself, we wouldn't have this horrible overpopulation problem, global warming, food shortages, and the economic crisis.
I made the choice to be child-free in my twenties, and I have never regretted it for a moment.
So many nitwits breed out babies without giving it a moment's thought, and that's why the world is overstuffed with nitwits now.
Free abortions and birth control for everyone on the planet!
@p1gta1p Breeders? Im a childfree woman, so I understand the decision not to have kids, but insulting women who do is just immature. People with kids can really try to shove their lifestyle up you ass, but being hostile towards them only shows how intolerant you really are, giving all childfree people a bad reputation
@ChrisGS1982 Yeah because ppl like u should've been aborted i have no idea why ur mom craved u so much what an idiot desiring a baby is something most women with that have a heart want and ur statement is so ignorant and sexist men want kids to dumbass kill urself.
Author, remove the top comment....the guy is a total moron....why is he trying to convince people to overpopulate and extrememly overpopulated world?????????
listen people i'm 11 years old and i NEVER EVER was like that i love my mom and dad more then anything in the world so that's why i'm not like that :*(

You guys are acting like children...lol. You only see the negative aspects, we're putting our child to work by allowing commercial photos made of her and she's making us money. How is this taking money from us again? Ha. She doesn't take our freedom either, we do all the things we can do when we were w/out children...grow up.
You love your child because it makes you money. "Nice" I can make money on my own. Also, I was in the bookstore today and watched (and listened) as this womans little girl screamed and whined over a pen. Everyone in Borders was looking at her. I'd be so embarrassed and annoyed. "I want a pen of my own! [repeating] then [Enter loud crying and wailing here]. Too many spoiled brats around with parents who bring them up that way. I wanted to spank her-just a little.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
How sad for you to want to abuse a child and especially someone else's. We never "spoil" our child much less call him making us money love. Your demeaning demeanor is a limp retort at best towards something that has lasted since the dawn of time.
Something must have happened to you to make you so bitter.
Actually nothing happened, it's just evident that there are a lot of brats out there, and kids just get in the way of ones freedom and dreams. That's why some women get depressed after having them. Kids can screw up0 a marriage too, especially if a couple has them right away. A couple needs to be able to enjoy just having each other without having children. They devour time and dreams. And by the way, I wouldn't say I wanted to abuse the kid, just spank it or set it in the corner.
Yeah and you're full of it. I've fulfilled many dreams and aspirations because I didn't pause in my life. I started early and as for making monies we have many other enterprises besides our child thank you very much. Spanking is abuse and what's worse is you wanted to inflict it on someone else's kid. How sad for you needing so much attention too....LOL.
This has been bothering me for some time now, so Ive decided to get it off my chest. Im sad to say my wife & I cant have children. Thats correct, we cant have kids. You see, we have a white carpet.
no every move i made was controlled in the household i grew up in and for your smartass information that was decades ago when the idea of CHILDREN ARE TO BE SEEN AND NOT HEARD.
i grew up in a very rural area where we didn't have neighbors nearby and certainly no stores to go to. so get off your soapbox and quit judging others' lives.
the thought of the way this brat is behaving in this video wouldn't have even crossed my mind as a kid.
I do not like kids in general, I hate movies about children, and hate when people think everything they do and say is cute and funny. I'm a woman and I don't want kids. I love my freedom, plus having kids makes for being stuck in some average life as just being a mom. The thought of that depresses me terribly. All my dreams would die. It would be all about the childs life.
@cedamouse i rarely encounter women who don't want a kid but it is refreshing to say the least. i don't want to have to deal with having to protect anything valuable from a baby or protect it from itself. although i had to deal with my sister (i am 10 years older) growing up and getting her hands on anything in reach. i also don't want to lose the freedom do go somewhere without finding a baby sitter. i am glad to see you get where i am coming from.
Oh yes, so much better to think you were never one yourself right? Be SELFISH all your life and you never have to grow up either! Some people can't have kids and wish they could so stop whining. All that kid needed was a good kick in the pants.
It´s because I remember being a kid and what a pain in the ass it was that I refuse to have them. This is a personal choice, if I don't want to have them why should it be considered "whining"?
Maybe not you and I actually respect your choice but there are many I hear doing this angry about kids thing. I wish they would respect the other choice...jeez.
Some kids are brats and they can be taught otherwise, I believe this because I knew brats and they learned eventually.
@LadyAvalon Ladyavalon selfish people shouldn't have kids maybe as a kid u were a pain in the ass because ur a jerk idiot not every kid is a pain in the ass ur parents just got stuck with a kid that sucks me on the other hand i was punished when i acted up and do just fine u idiots act like kids stay the same age forever in the end its worth it when u get old and a kid can take care of u or u have lots of family for the holidays any parent would tell u its worth it.
@nopenotgoingtowork I responded politely, and you resort to calling me a "jerk idiot". That definitely demostrates how your education was clearly lacking and that your parents have definitely not done their jobs in teaching you how to maintain a polite argument.
For insulting me needlessly and not knowing how to keep up a polite argument, I am blocking you
Why do people call people selfish for not having kids? You can't be selfish to someone who doesn't even exist. Society today likes to push kids on people thats why so many kids are abused and such.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
No, all this post does is condemn people for choosing to HAVE kids which I thought was SELFISH. I don't give a rat's ass whether someone chooses to or not, Im just asking this a-hole not to condemn people who do.
I agree cedamouse, only a dumbass says it is selfish for not wanting children since it is impossible to be selfish with something that does not exist. Are yall forgetting what you think? I WANT A CHILD? Who asked to be born? If it was a question of being selfish, who is? When someone gives me a sensible answer on why I should reproduce, I will, and there are none, so I won't.
Technically, having or not having children is a "selfish" choice. Any choice a person makes for their self can be considered "selfish". The choice of me to brush my teeth is a selfish act, even. My point is for all the child-rearing people who call out the chlldfree for their decision just don't seem to realize their own hypocrisy.
@Thejbirdy No, YOU are selfish, I am sick and tired of popular culture wanting everyone to have kids, if you want kids, fine but adopt one, they need it more than you need kids, trust me.

So don't be a hypocrite.
valegorn 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon (cont....cont)
And last counter argument;
Not having kids is NOT an achievement because it requires no work, no guts, and no responsibility.
valegorn 7 months ago
@valegorn Mister, I live in UK, I see 17 year olds (and younger) raising kids up every day. One of my best friends here is a social worker, and she can tell you that bringing up a kid doesn't magically grant you maturity nor intelligence, or the State would have no need of taking kids away from their parents. Also if what you say were true, there would be no child abuse from parents, nor would the world be in it's sorry state.
You can't just sit there and say people who don't want kids are >
LadyAvalon 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon Ah HA!!! you bring up an excellent point!
There is a reason why people are applauded for being a parent, because its hard, and not everybody can do it. Those who can't either get their children taken away, or raise another bad citizen.
My point was that for those that stick with it, and actually try to raise their kid(s) (and not being self absorbed) become some of the most mature, patient, and understanding people in society. Its crossing the finish line that counts.
valegorn 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon (2 of 2)
Just because you see 17 year old's failing, doesn't mean they wont ever be good parents. This is what kills me about people like you, all you see is the hear and now.
What also kills me is someone needs to win the "best parent alive" award in order for you people to be ok with other people's parenting.
I'm sorry, if you don't kids and you complain about others parenting, STFU, you have no ground to stand on
Not everybody is a perfect parent, I applaud those that try.
valegorn 7 months ago
@valegorn Perhaps if people who wanted to be parents went through the same procedures those who want to adopt do, there would be less bad parenting in the world. And it's not a question of applauding those who try. If the child is abused, or neglected are you going to pat the parents on the back and say, well at least you tried, good job! I think not. Parents are responsible for a tiny human being. Trying isn't good enough.
LadyAvalon 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon (1 of 2)
Sorry, we as a world haven't taken the God given right to make a child. When that happens, things free nations will no longer exist.
Yes, if there is child abuse or neglect, then obviously something needs to change, or the child be taken into foster care. Yes on some level any parent deserves applauding, but they have to be making an attempt to being a good parent. If you're not attempting, then boo on them.
valegorn 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon (2 of 2)
I have to disagree with you, TRYING to be a good parent is in many cases good enough. Parenting doesn't come natural to many people, so they're going to try and fail many times. The trick is to keep trying and not give up. So yes, Trying is good enough because it leads to success.
So does that mean we scorn those parents who are failing, but are still trying to succeed? Or do we support and encourage them? Many people like yourself would rather scorn them, which is sad.
valegorn 7 months ago
@valegorn The amount of support depends on how badly they are affecting the child. It's no use applauding parents when they might be permanently damaging a child. It's not a question of scorn, it is a question of responsibility. If a parent is doing a bad job of being a parent, they shouldn't be allowed to continue. Kids are not toys. They are fragile human beings and deserve an upbringing that won't scar them. You have too much sympathy for the parents and not enough for the kids.
LadyAvalon 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon This goes without saying, if the behavior of the parent continues to harm the child then yes, authorities need to step in. But does this mean we take every baby away from every parent that accidentally dropped their child?
I believe in Child Protective Services, they protect those children from parents that wont change or can't.
You need to understand, parents are going to make mistakes, do we throw every parent who isn't perfect in jail and/or take their kid away?
valegorn 7 months ago
@LadyAvalon cowards and idiots, because we are neither. If you don't know how to debate without insulting the person who doesn't agree with you, then it is quite obvious in my opinion that you are not mature enough to take part in a polite argument. And I will thank you from refraining from insulting a good lot of people who have left comments on my channel. Go do it on your own.
LadyAvalon 7 months ago
Im glad i am child free lol those pour suckers
philmo211 8 months ago 20
@philmo211 The reason you're child free is because you can't handle being a parent. Not every person actually grows up, so its ok if you still want to be a little kid in a 30 year old body. Immature people think they're being clever by not having kids, when in actuality you're keeping yourself from maturing even more.
Also it take some balls to be a parent, so sure, we're the sucker, but you're the one who's afraid and immature, kiddo.
valegorn 7 months ago
@valegorn You seem to be making the incorrect assumption that child-rearing is a prerequisite for maturity. Some people are good parents, most are terrible. It takes a very mature individual to come to terms with the fact that he or she should not be entrusted with the emotional and physiological well-being of a child. Maybe if we had more strenuous measures in place for potential parents we could control overpopulation and lower the prevalence of child abuse.
batmanpronz 6 months ago
@batmanpronz (1 of 2)
Allow me to clarify myself for you, child-rearing (when done correctly) WILL make a person more mature. Since there is no set value for maturity, one can only become more mature, or less mature. Naturally we grow more mature as we age, some faster than others, but parenting is a great way to accelerate the process of becoming mature. Even if you are a terrible parent, as long as you're attempting to be a parent, you will learn from the experience hence become more mature.
valegorn 6 months ago

batmanpronz 6 months ago
@valegorn You're the one who made the claim that child-rearing will make a person more mature, yet you provide no evidence to support that claim. You're also making the assumption that "attempting to be a parent" involves striving towards a (more or less) single universal ideal parent figure. This varies from person to person. How can we commend a parent for striving to be better? Because he or she spends more time with the child? How about a stone-cold creationist who home-schools her children?
batmanpronz 6 months ago
@batmanpronz A(1 of 2)
It's pretty common knowledge that experiences make us wiser. Parenting is a pretty educating experience, if you can't see that and require evidence, then you're too far gone to be helped.
Striving to be better at (insert most anything here) is generally praised. I don't understand your question. Society always commends someone who's trying to be better. Why can't we commend someone who's trying to be a better parent?
valegorn 6 months ago
@batmanpronz (2 of 2)
Who are we to decide who can rear kids and who can't? Yes there are terrible parents out there, but to be honest, I don't know a single perfect parent. Everybody at one point or another was a terrible parent. What I think separates good parents from bad ones is a good parent is constantly striving to be a better parent, bad ones don't care. But since that's hard to measure, I guess we'll just have to keep encouraging people to be good parents. Parentcontrol = Nazism, no?
valegorn 6 months ago
We are evolved animals living in a social contract and have agreed upon a set of rules that allow us certain freedoms; freedoms that do not encroach on the basic human rights of others. A child should not be a learning platform for parents. Allowing a child the opportunity to think critically for itself and guaranteeing it a minimum acceptable living standard are examples of those "basic rights." If you think those rights are being provided for most children today, you need to open your eyes.
batmanpronz 6 months ago
@batmanpronz A(2 of 2)
It sounds to me like you're not a parent.

And learn to use commas and full stops, please.

not only that this life is cruel and disguesting, you might end up with serious problems with you children that might screen out any rational feeling that you might have about it, which makes you poor and suffering for all your life-
for example

Thejbirdy 2 years ago
Actually nothing happened, it's just evident that there are a lot of brats out there, and kids just get in the way of ones freedom and dreams. That's why some women get depressed after having them. Kids can screw up0 a marriage too, especially if a couple has them right away. A couple needs to be able to enjoy just having each other without having children. They devour time and dreams. And by the way, I wouldn't say I wanted to abuse the kid, just spank it or set it in the corner.

At some point in your childhood you did something rebellious or annoying.
Don't pretend you were a perfect reserved child. Your mother was a woman who had acted on what she thought was right.
You weren't perfect. You did something that upset your parents.

@AngryNicklos
YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE.
no every move i made was controlled in the household i grew up in and for your smartass information that was decades ago when the idea of CHILDREN ARE TO BE SEEN AND NOT HEARD.
i grew up in a very rural area where we didn't have neighbors nearby and certainly no stores to go to. so get off your soapbox and quit judging others' lives.
the thought of the way this brat is behaving in this video wouldn't have even crossed my mind as a kid.

"quit judging others' lives"
Wouldn't you be doing that by analysis of the child in this commercial?
You called him a brat, wouldn't that be judging his life?

changing shitty diapers, cut your paycheeck in half and have no free time with less than an hour of sleep??????????????????????????????????

This is soooo true....

Plus you have to worry about what your kids are going to turn out like even if you raise them right.

Thejbirdy 2 years ago
It´s because I remember being a kid and what a pain in the ass it was that I refuse to have them. This is a personal choice, if I don't want to have them why should it be considered "whining"?
LadyAvalon 2 years ago 2
Maybe not you and I actually respect your choice but there are many I hear doing this angry about kids thing. I wish they would respect the other choice...jeez.
Some kids are brats and they can be taught otherwise, I believe this because I knew brats and they learned eventually.
No big deal L.A.

@LadyAvalon Ladyavalon selfish people shouldn't have kids maybe as a kid u were a pain in the ass because ur a jerk idiot not every kid is a pain in the ass ur parents just got stuck with a kid that sucks me on the other hand i was punished when i acted up and do just fine u idiots act like kids stay the same age forever in the end its worth it when u get old and a kid can take care of u or u have lots of family for the holidays any parent would tell u its worth it.
nopenotgoingtowork 1 year ago
@nopenotgoingtowork I responded politely, and you resort to calling me a "jerk idiot". That definitely demostrates how your education was clearly lacking and that your parents have definitely not done their jobs in teaching you how to maintain a polite argument.
For insulting me needlessly and not knowing how to keep up a polite argument, I am blocking you
Bye-bye now!! ^^

Why do people call people selfish for not having kids? You can't be selfish to someone who doesn't even exist. Society today likes to push kids on people thats why so many kids are abused and such.
People have a right to not be into children.

No, all this post does is condemn people for choosing to HAVE kids which I thought was SELFISH. I don't give a rat's ass whether someone chooses to or not, Im just asking this a-hole not to condemn people who do.
Thejbirdy 2 years ago
I agree cedamouse, only a dumbass says it is selfish for not wanting children since it is impossible to be selfish with something that does not exist. Are yall forgetting what you think? I WANT A CHILD? Who asked to be born? If it was a question of being selfish, who is? When someone gives me a sensible answer on why I should reproduce, I will, and there are none, so I won't.

LOL, that father is soooo embarrassed! Doesn't even know what to do! Perfect ad.
artep2122 2 years ago 4
Technically, having or not having children is a "selfish" choice. Any choice a person makes for their self can be considered "selfish". The choice of me to brush my teeth is a selfish act, even. My point is for all the child-rearing people who call out the chlldfree for their decision just don't seem to realize their own hypocrisy.

@cedamouse Thank you! this is just how I feel I could never put it to words though

@Thejbirdy No, YOU are selfish, I am sick and tired of popular culture wanting everyone to have kids, if you want kids, fine but adopt one, they need it more than you need kids, trust me.
