Hi, David.I`ve just realized I`ve spoken to you as "Dave"Of course.I didn`t think about that, `cause in Argentina,Dave might be a kinda more familiar way of calling a friend..
So, my excuses;I didn`t take you as Dave (Mustaine)xD
Thanks again, your teachings are very helpful, I`m a woman bass player on my own,and I love all stuff related to recording..
You`re great!
The best bassist for Megadeth, and, I know, a good friend for Dave on his difficult moments

Seriously, Ellefson is one of, if not THE best metal bassist of all time. He's even better than Steve Harris(iron maiden's bassist), which is saying a lot! He seriously rules. He's also great for taking time to upload videos for all of us who are clueless about the music business. Thanks David!
He's a nice guy too, I met him in '06, got a hand shake and autograph. My image showed up on his bass with the mirrored pick guard on his F5 dvd! That's how close to the stage I was! If ya haven't guessed......he's my biggest bass influence.
@saeth105: In my opinion Steve Harris is sloppy as hell, he's got his own style which is cool, but that guy doesn't hold the low end together (for my taste he has too much treble going on in the mix). And David is a good bassist, but as far as metal bassists go, you might want to check out Sadus, and in particular the bass player Steve di Giorgio, he's pretty amazing. And don't forget Peter Steele (R.I.P.)
@saeth105 just a crazy fact for you dave played with his fingers until the R.I.P. album because things got faster and just extreme as hell so he switched to using the pick the entire time
I'm surprised at how poor the audio is ... and you are sitting in a studio control room shooting HD video! How about using a lapel mic or a condenser mic overhead (out of the shot)? Doing this would take your show from "good" to "great"!
big brother of hte music busness is called metallica :P

@Warghost1000 i think he's just under steve, but he's still a bass monster, and probably the best pick bassist of all time.
