I blame Tom Welling for Laura Vandervoort being gone. When I see this scene I can see in their faces what the actors are really feeling. Laura is trying to understand why she became an outcast and Tom is clearly wanting her gone. I can see it in his eyes. When I found out that she wasnt coming back for Kandor and that TW is a producer of SV, it only made my feelings stronger.
smallvilles biggest problem is, being uncertain of renewal season to season, the show keeps throwing in characters that are part of Superman's life , not Superboy (young clark)...Supergirl appeared in the comics in a rocket found by Superman..dam !Where aret the legion of superheroes?
i miss Kara season 8 sucked without her iam hopeing Kelly and Brian bring her back for season 9, from interviews Laura said she would love to come back to sv and if they ever need her shes there.
I didn't like how they got rid of her as quick as she was introduced. She was introduced in a couple of episodes, imprisoned for most of the season in the phantom zone for most of the season, and then as soon as she got out she leaves. fuck that shit.
I wish it did, but that's probably not going to happen. The door is still open for her to come back perhaps later in the season. Maybe she will save Clark when Doomsday...

@TornadoBr Tom never had a thing to do with Laura being gone this is season 7 , Tom became a co producer in season 9 and then executive in season 10
a whole year after she left
and he was also one of the reason she came back in season 10
