  • why exactly do they do this

  • Dammit!... You sunk my battle ship!

  • what was that blue thing that flew up

  • ist war? kk

  • its titanic 2 XD.

  • it's Titanic XD 2.

  • o way to go asshole you sunk the boat

  • and they could not just rebuild it?? shame to see her go...........

  • It's a government payment to the underwater aliens!!!!

  • I CALL IT POLLUTION.

  • @dane774 You call it pollution. I call you uneducated.

  • @acoow Yes dad. Thanks for pointing that out to me DAD.

Not all of us has a MASTERS DEGREE so we can post on YouTube.

And I call you an @SSHOLE.

  • @dane774 At least you proved me right. Thank you.

  • @acoow You wish..LOL..

  • Instead of giving it to the fishies, why not give it to ME?!

  • believe it or not, they'll use it as a tourist attraction in a couple years, so really.. Its not a waste.

  • that boat didnt seem in bad shape...im not sure why they couldnt find another use for it...something on the water not under it.

  • Those dumb environmental people probably thought that scrapping it and turning all that metal into something usefull was not as important as the tiny little fishy's having something to play with. =(

  • @trainmandan05 i agree...

  • waste of a couple million doallrs

  • She didnt want to sink........ bless her heart!

  • Well, that's depressing as hell.

  • Triste fin para la embarcaciòn. Saludos.

  • at 2:08 something pops out... what could that be?

  • @musiclover3369 My best guess is that it is an tank of air to stabelize the sinking.

  • VISITA LA WEB BOATSPORT PUNTO ES

  • that blue thing at 2:34 is that the dingy?

  • @CityFolk120 yes, to indicate where the boat is. We have them on shipwreks here in Lake Champlain.

  • look a navy titanic! but no iceberg. :(

  • everyone should get a tax refund for this,we paid for it!

  • is it just me or whoever the navy got to do that done a shit job as the boat want down nose first.

  • lol , yah , waste of steel imo , but i was watching , thinking , how tha f**k can a boat like that sink in a sky like that , with a flat sea ? musta bin hit by a torp or summit ? lol

  • erm,,, why the helicopter ? they cost a bomb to fly around for the pleasure of divers !! ?

  • Probably a news chopper wanting to get footage for the program.

  • The ship was scuttled (sunk) on purpose. When Naval ships reach the end of the careers, usually after 35 years (without an overhaul) they are sunk to make new marine habitats and diving attractions. The companies that sink the vessels strip the ship of hazards to divers and place Charges at points inside the Hull. The blue columns on the Bridge and on both sides the Funnel are there to keep the ship upright as she sinks so when she hits the bottom she will be upright making it easier for divers

  • @fuzzhypno Read the description...

  • a boat is now recommended the safest transportation чet. because чou have more car crashes then anчthing else, when чou're on a plain чour miles in the air and have a hurtfull landing, (duh!), trains go so fast that it has been said if theч crash чou'd die instantlч! therefore, a boat takes atleast half an hour or more to sink and it has a safetч boat to take чou back to land. simples (:

  • Lusitania sunk in 18 minutes and many people were trapped inside of her in elevators etc.

  • Ships can sink fast, but you are right about safest transportation. Plane=crash, explosion train=crash, explosion

    car=same thing,happens more

  • @standingcam are ww2 ship's didn't sink fast that had over 200 men running around the ship with tape and pieces of wood some times the ship would be on fire, listing on it's side part sunk and still be shoting now thous were well built with good engenders! XD

  • @44971719785648751978 What the fuck are you trying to say? This sentence makes NO sense.

  • that isnt true... the lusitania sunk in 18 mins.....

  • is there anyone or anyTHING OR ANY ITEM OR Any WEPONS ABOARD?

  • why are you asking

  • Where is de boat?

  • they should have recycled it, you how much that could affect the environment???

  • it was done to create an artificial reef so that fish can live and reproduce there.

  • Not much, it helps actually. By becoming a reef for fish to live in. Divers get to enjoy it as well.

  • @Airdizz123 if i was a fish i would want that more than some plant

  • @Airdizz123

In that case they must dive quite deep, cause the boat was about 40 metres long and it didnt hit the bottom so...

  • creating an artificial reef IS recycling it and is BENEFICIAL for the environment. do some research before you pretend to know what you're talking about.

  • It is being recycled as an artificial reef. It won't negatively affect the environment as all oil, gas/fuel etc is removed and the whole thing is cleaned before sinking. It's a beautiful wreck to dive :o)

  • waste of steel

  • 0:56 divemania lololol

  • What was that screeching noise?

  • i been on this ship many times

  • A new underwater subject for divers to research

  • lol that boat is like a submarine

  • There is also a cat left on board

  • huh? no. were? time code?

  • At that small square window at the rear of the super structure you can see a face if you look carefully. The crew are probably tied up inside by the CIA or the Mafia

  • you should not watch to mutch movies...

Is the IRA althow involved into mafia &cia?

  • omg !!!!!!!but why dey laughing!!!!!!!!!

  • what's everyones favourite cheese?

  • O.o I like Chedder o.O

  • looks like a new fishing spot to me. =)

  • christ that took longer to sink than the boat in Jaws

  • AHHHH!!! damn that noise!

  • There is a face at one of the windows

  • no there isnt there was no-one in the boat read the description

  • why wont one of the boats go and tr to save people on that boat is the world really filled with bitches like that!bastards

  • Did you not read the description? It was sunk to become a diving site.

  • Are you retarded?

Read the damn description before opening your retarded mouth.

There was no one on the boat

  • OMG what the hell is the stupid noise

  • I think there was an accident with crew members trapped. You can see peolple on the boats waving and shouting. These things get covered up by the CIA

  • aww poor boat... BUT ITS STILL FUN TO WATCH LOL!!!

  • This is probably insurance job. Crew are expendable.

  • no, it was sunk as a diving site.

  • As you can see, there is nothing on the stern, and holes have been cut in the deck to help it sink. (1:59)

  • omg

  • Looking carefully at the second boat. The guy on the front is waving.

  • Well when they do dive down I hope they recover the bodies of the grew members. When the boat with Divemania on the side goes by you can see at least 3 men shouting something. " Abandon ship you are sinking "

  • Your an idiot it was sunk as a future diving site. No one was on board

  • lol there was no crew, and you ever heard of a joke? All of this was planed

  • ther just sinking the boat so people can dive down to it

  • @redbiddy500 another tin can bites the dust

  • @redbiddy500 I know why not do something better with it like recycle it lol. You can make like loads of new cars or a few buildings or better still tins of sausages

  • I did not see any survivors. They would not clap if it was their friends on that boat. Just think of their families and pets

  • It was an intentional sinking you moron. Did you see the boat with Diving on it? You really cant be that stupid.

  • they all abandond ship

  • Retard Awards for 2009..nominated and clear winner. Grats Skankycam you are the winner.

  • so is watching plane wrecks its just fucked up

  • Yeh i dunno why but watching boats sink is just plain creepy D:

  • the ocean is just creepy, going in a boat underwater jus eeee!

  • O.M.G, i hope everyone got out okay ...

  • it was suppose to sink as a diving site

  • thats scary in a wierd way

  • i saw 2 pipes floated up after the torpedo boat sank. what was that?

  • im not to sure but i think its a buoy

  • Barnacles and Corral will grow on the ship making an unnatural habitat...but a livable habitat none the less...not a waste.

  • stick the tube in ur mouth, the white stuff comes out, swish it around in ur mouth, lick it with your toung, spit it back out....Crest touthpaste lol

  • that's a waste of scrap

  • Somehow I think the metal could have been recycled and used for a better purpose than to pollute the ocean a little more.

  • damn that helicopter its so loud! nice vid btw

  • titanic :D

  • Ya,exotic milk for 10$ a litre.comes with chink spit. How'd we go from sinking ships to cows is beyond me.Oh well. The point is that we kinda fuck mother nature right in the black whole. The thing is that she lets us as mankind know when she don't like it.The seas have thier ass kicking vengience, volcano's have thier way and storms seem to bend mankind over with very little effort.YIIPPPEE for mankind.WE'll have our punishment. When we are old,we won't know what fresh air is.

  • So, your saying it's good for the little fishies??Tell me.How long do you think it would take for a ship that size to be covered enough not to be noticed as a ship, but a piece of the land scape?I don't know if I like the thought of diving to the bottom of the sea just to see nothing but sunken ships, boats and war planes. But,I guess if you don't see it from above water,no harm......right??!?

  • Yea, i dont think the ocean could survive if humans never came along to build ships and create other great things for nature like Clear Cuts and log cabins, Or drilling for oil and dumping are garbage in the see or barring it under ground!

Thank god we came to this plant it to save it, other wise it would be doomed!

    (sarcastically speaking of course)

  • Yeah, your right.I mean all the animals would be extinct as well...like the whales. And I'm sure all the animals love us for making this world a better place considering we are making it warmer as the years go buy.And all the sea creatures love us too for slowly getting rid of all the arctic ice caps.More room to swin. And lets not forget that we are forcing animals to be our friends by cutting all the green forest down and making our cities bigger so they have no choice to be our rfiends

  • Thats a good point!

I mean most Americans have only eaten Corn feed Cows... Corn feed basically Fattens up the cows before we slaughter them, and Its a good thing we slaughter them because they wouldn't last more the 6 month off the food we feed them for our marketing purposes!

  • speaking of cows.Did you know that in China, before they slaughter the cows, they hand feed the cow as well as massage the cow around the clock?!The meat is sold after slaughter for a lot of money. The things people believe in and rely on just blows my mind.

  • yea they feed it some Wine to lol.. Its ridiculous!

  • Wonder what they do to thier teets? For some pure milk?!lol

  • Probably use their mouth!

  • I wonder how much junk there is at the bottom of the ocean after all the years man has been on earth? Will it ever become a problem?

  • just think of the little fishes in the sea and what they have to deal with all that sea fungi on those sunken ships.

  • Are you saying that's a good thing?I guess it's not like dumping on land where it's an eye sore.Under water, sunken ships turn into a little paradise.I just hope that all ships that are intentionally sunken are drained from ALL thier harmfull contanments and toxic junk.Good point!

  • but if there not then it will hurt all the little fishes!

  • it was a army boat shot down

  • 133 OMG a UFO AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JUST KIDDING

  • Well I guess if you saw it on TV, it must be true then!

    That was a sarcastic statement.

I also guess we are going to "research"

ourselves right out of all our precious natural resources..And pollute the shat out of our air to boot! Or is that researching how a shortage of steel works? Either way, that does not sound like very good thing, does it? Again I say, maybe the people that make these decisions to sink all of these ships that are precious natural resources should hear from us?

  • whats that thing in the sky????? 1.31-1.42 it looks too jittery to be a copter or a plane

  • It's probably aliens...

    Just sayin'.

  • RC helicopter lol its for a camera view for shows and shit

  • It blows me away that humans can be so wasteful. Here in the U.S. they sink whole air craft carriers for fake reefs!

I'm not sure if people understand how much polution goes into the air to produce a ton of metal! And that we should be recycling it instead of making some fish and divers happy! Maybe if more people said "what the hell"??? The people that make these disicions would wake the hell up! Just my two cents....P.S...I'm not a tree hugger by any means!

  • they sink the ship to go under and study and research the ships

  • Huh?

They sink a ship to research and study it....OK sure. Did you make that shat up....or who the heck are you listening to to come up with this malarkey?

    That sound reasonable to me.......NOT

About as much sense as.. "I shot myself in the foot to see how it would feel"

    Ya...about that much sence.

  • no i didnt make that up i saw it on tv the discovery channel

  • i agree with you it's so true they just blow up the ships instead of keeping for a model for tourists

  • Scrap iron needs to go thru the same process to make new steel.. They use a certain percent of scrap iron in the melt to make new steel too.

A ship used as an artificial reef is sanitized of hazardous material and reusable parts and materials.. What they sink is basicly the empty hull which will be gone in a couple of years. Iron oxide is found naturally in nature..

  • Hoodie, I didn't know they had to tear up the .earth to recycle metal?! That would be news to me

Mining iron oar to make steel does tear up the earth. You are also talking about a finite natural resource that we are foolishly sending to the bottom of the sea....striped or not..That is short sighted !

  • But it does support and form a new artificial reef, that is so more beneficial for the earth, than pulling out another 100 tonnes of iron ore.

  • u people are retarted it a us navy patrol boat

  • Some dudes got big load of money.......

  • I thought I saw Leonardo

  • Lol And me rose

  • rad man

  • now thats exactly what im talking about- you just cant go out diving anymore cuz some body might be dropping a boat on you! shame on them i say- a few ruining it for many-

  • I dont get it; it must have been a controlled sinking. Why would a third world nation watch and cheer for what seems to be a perfectly sound frigate go down. Heck, sell the scrap to China; they need the metal to invade your country. LCDR(RET)JP

  • Read the description....

  • Patrol Boat was sank at Cirkewwa (Malta) as a diving site!

  • reminds me of titanic except, smaller and minus the breaking in half part lol

  • YOu could tell the bow hit the bottom at the end.

  • wow

  • lame

  • reefs

  • why do they have to sink it? i think is't better to cut it up and recycle it for other boats or something

  • well they sink the boats to make artificial reefs

  • and the divers are already and waiting to just look at it underwater! lol

  • they should have used a torpedo to bring it down! rrrrrrr! :D

  • interesting...

  • Man... that was a cool thing. I'd want one myself for private use ;)

  • Why is this woman applauding????? Women... ;-)

  • COOL

  • SAD

  • zdaj je to naraven koralni greben.

  • what is that blue tank wich jumped when cockpit went down

  • i assume they are the stacks (funnels)

  • Its to stop the boat tipping over as it sank. Nice to have a dive wreck sit flat on the bottom, so floats were used hold the boat upright. I don't know if they were meant to pop off like that though.

  • did people die?? ( i am welsh but born in america)

  • it was sunk for diving.

  • no... it was a controled sinking, explosives were put on it buy bomb teams to make it sink... and no, there was no1 on it

  • read the info, genius:(

  • then u r american

  • je wordt gestoord van de tyfusherry van die kut helicopter!

  • that just goes to show you that you probably can find just about anything on youtube

  • Why turn it into a diving site? Maybe I wanted to buy it and put it in my backyard...

  • id buy it and sail it about till it sank

  • Its not a sail-boat...

  • Who would want to sink a perfectly god patrol boat just for a dive sight.

  • thats cool.

  • there goes £1000000000

  • lol the boat hit the bottom b4 it fully sank

  • great footage!sad to see a good boat go under the water though.:(

  • could be used as a reef habitat

  • could be used as a reef habitat "

I'm sure anything valuable was removed first, but there was also a fortune in scrap iron there, I'm surpised she wasn't meant for the cutters torch. Send fiberglass hulls to the reef instead!

  • Alot of expensive metal there, just going "down the drain" :( . what a waste of a perfectly good boat.

  • Get a life, It's WWII era so bloody useless for anything else.

It was sank as an official artificial reef and dive site for the good of the marine environment and the Maltese tourist trade.

You really should think about the whole picture before you make these mis informed comments.
