How do you think Tones will tour once Chi's on his feet again? Like Sergio's written Diamond Eyes with them, and toured with them... it'd seem pretty terrible to shitcan Sergio, but at the same time Chi's rightful place is as bassist... I think that Chi will play everything but Diamond Eyes songs, and Sergio will play those songs.

@misterkill27 that would be the more appropriate thing to do. Sergio's one badass bassist too. Basslines in Diamond Eyes, and the even the album itself were impressive. Except for the fact that he isn't as energetic as Chi on stage, he fits into Deftones well. Though I prefer Chi...

@thakidace Actually that time was during the early 2000's. His screams didn't begin to fully recover until 2009. You should see his latest shows in 2010. Nails it.

@thakidace Not really because this is 2009. He has been like this forever until 2010 when he seemed to have got better with Diamond Eyes. After his vocal damage in 2001 I think, he hasn't been very good live MOST of the times. Some times good, others horrible but it's Deftones and they're the shit!

It's not Sergio's fault that Chi is not with the Deftones now guys.

Deftones had to go on. Yes I miss Chi and his big body bouncing up and down playing his part and I hope he'll be ok and get back to his normal life as fast as possible, but now the deftones have to play shows and write songs and they found someone who can do it with them, he did it 10 years ago and can do it now.

And P.S.

God bless Chi. We want him back.
