I'm thinking of getting these :) I just want to know. I have a Galaxy S GT-I9000 with Voodoo Control Plus with Bass Boost Effect which makes bass comfortable while listening, not deep but acceptable bass:) I just wanna move to the next level of bass. I want an over-rated, comfortable bass in my ears, not just noice bass. Just like 55-60 % bass and 35-40% clear music:) Would you recommend me these? Or something else?

but the bass gets so powerful, that i was listening to "lil jon bass test" and i set them down on the table and the bass vibration made them fall off onto the floor. all in all, the best overall bass ive ever found.

By the way, the rubber caps are really easily replaceable, I have over a dozen of them of various colors.

YES, these XX earbuds are totally awesome! Best bass in earbuds ever, I can never get used to any other regular earbuds ever again after this. Be careful guys, once you listen to this, you will never be able to enjoy your music collection with regular earbuds ever again. It does spoil you a little bit. Be careful guys, they are just that good.

Broken these in for about 20 hours. Sound quality overall is very good! But the bass isn't as much as I expected at all. It's definitely prominent and there, but it doesn't seem to be punchy or overwhelming enough. My previous earphones, V-Moda Bass Freq, had tremendous bass - best I've ever tried, they literally vibrated in your ears as if it was a subwoofer. Granted sound quality (i.e. Trebles) is better in the JVCs, but it's a big step down in bass from my V-Modas, and sound quality was good.

Very nice job on the review - great film-making, great content, great speaking ability. It seems the bottom-line, as you say at the end, is that the JVC isn't quite as good as the Klipsch, for for 1/4 the price it's a pretty darn fine product.
