lol yea her hair IS long =P for all you people uneducated in the field of cosmetology, anything past shoulder length is considered LONG. and think about it, her hair was in a relatively HIGH ponytail therefore her hair is going to be longer when she lets it down. her hair is probably in the middle of her back which is considered, long =P

This is why I don't trust people "educated in the field of cosmetology" with my hair... because they don't know how to deal with hair that is actually long, merely medium-length at most.

ooook.. so what are you trying to say here? what do you mean by generalizing cosmetologists? if thats what you're doing then you obviously haven't seen a lot nor been around as respects hair care, styling, and technique. i'll have you know that i am a self taught stylist and will admit that i don't know EVERYthing about EVERYone's hair, but that's only because i haven't met them yet. so before you go saying cosmetologists "don't know what they're doing", get a little more experience.

I'm just trying to say that when it comes to hair that is actually long, a cosmetologist is not the person to see unless they have additional experience with long hair. There are things that you can do to hair that is "long" to a stylist that would make it very difficult for someone who is trying to grow their hair to terminal, for example, to maintain their length and not have their hair look like crap because it's been mistreated. Long shows damage more than short, because of time and age.

I *have* met some stylists that do know what they're doing with long hair, but they tend to have what you would call "extremely long" hair themselves.

About a month ago I bought a few bands for my hair with rubber on and in it for extra grip. I like it. A day later I bought some more. I bought them in a big unfreaky shop; there are thousands of that kind of stores in Holland. Before I watched this video I knew how to make an ugly bun but now I know how to make a fairly normal bun. For natural african american hair her hair is very long.

technically, her hairstyle is described as "long"... but I do think she's exaggerating when she says VERY long. her hair is nice in the end, but even though my hair is much long, my bun ends up all scrawny =s
