2) There are bajillions of artists who make videos in some pretty place where they live - they're doing this too. The video was filmed in their (and my) home, Okinawa.

3) One of them is gay. This has nothing to do with the video or their music.

Do you understand Japanese? If not then I'm not surprised it doesn't make sense. My answer is treat the voices like vocal instruments which if you break it down is exactly what they are. I don't understand most of my anime music either but I can hum along with it and if you are learning Japanese it is great for perfecting your pronunciation and expanding your vocabulary.
