Do you do shipping to the UK? I really wouldn't mind ordering one of those Tempus fiber glass snares they're cracking!

Sounds fantastic - which hoops are on this drum?
wuwu1970 1 year ago
@wuwu1970 - Just the standard 2.3mm triple flanged hoops that are standard on most Dunnett stuff... nothing fancy :)
DrumCenterNH 1 year ago

@triforce10155
Oh boy....another Dunnett Lemming.
The most overrated snare drum going. (junk!!)
You really have no ear - and you really dont know who you are talking to.
Pssssst,.....my username might help you.
@pressrolls So the snare in the intro of the video sounds bad?
@pressrolls Well you can sure tell you have NO ear for a good snare ... this sound like an old ludwig more than anything i know... and i have heard EVERY snare on the market

Hi Shane I was wondering if you could tell me how you tuned this snare in the intro beat in the first 5 seconds of the video, it sounds sooo good
sexyzacdrummer 2 years ago
I tune the bottom head very high and the batter medium. Snare tension is loose. Shane

Sounds like early Bonham, at least at the low tuning

How cool is hyper-vent...nice!
I actually had that idea in the 70's, like a lot of people probably. Now I just use a rubber stopper, or tape.
What's the edge profile on this drum?

We can order it for you, call 603-319-8109 to do it. Thanks!
so i'm wondering if you will ever feel like getting the stanton moore signature snare or will i just have to order it?
westhofer8 2 years ago
Yeah but what do you know? :)
The main difference in the venting is the stick response.

i never understood what the venting did. how much exactly?
Pandanobear 2 years ago
Not a whole lot to the ear. When the vent is fully open, the tone of the drum dries out slightly, more noticeable when mic'd.
oh i c. thank you :)
