with mercedes simply pushing the esp button doesnt turn the system fully off.. you have to select dyno mode from the settings lmao

i have a mercedes too (SLK350) and when u push the button it is only about 80% off...if u want it fully off u put the key into position 2 when the car is in park and go into your settings and select dyno mode...u can still make some nice clouds of smoke by just pushing esp but with mercedes its not fully off... CLK500 is a beast though nice

with the w208 you dont have a dyno mode. you can just unplug the fuse for the esp. thats what i've started to do ;)

yea 04 and 05 are same thing.. very good car.. my favorite part is still the fact that on a hot summer day, you can just roll down all the windows without any pillar in the middle while still having the hardtop. Not to mention the amazing sound that v8 makes when you push the pedal to the floor. Sounds like it has a supercharged v12 lol.

if you are looking for speed, sportyness and looks, go with CLK500 (I own one and love it)

if you are looking for luxury and comfort, go with 745i.

both are great choices depending on your age. if you're young, u shouldn't get 745i unless it's white or black which nice rims and tinted windows!

mercedes 5spd transmissions are as close to bullet proof as you can get. The only damage he did was probably just cake the rims with rubber and heat up his breaks
