  • Ha Ha I love watching old people talk about subwoofers... I guess there is hope for that old generation.

    CXM96.

  • ok i want subs do i need to buy better speakers along with a woffer and the amp or what

  • @Rewardedgamer You do not need to upgrade your full range speakers when you add aftermarket subwoofers. However, if you add too much bass, you may drown out the full range frequencies. So, depending on how much bass you add, the answer to your question can vary. Feel free to call for a personalized recommendation: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

  • @crutchfieldtv is it toll free

  • @Rewardedgamer Yes. The provided number is toll free: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

  • now you said that "if you wanna make a statement, go with the bandpass box", does that mean that its the loudest if being herd from outside the vehicle?

  • @rockstardrinker95 Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. Bandpass boxes are very efficient in a specific band of frequencies (hence the name “bandpass”). While they offer great efficiency in this band (usually the 40Hz range), you can get more efficiency throughout the bass range with a conventional ported or vented enclosure. • I HAVE A BANDPASS BOX 2 10'S IN IT AND THE GLASS ... OK SO ONE SUB DOESNT WORK AND ONE DOES .... IT HAS A NEW TEN SUB BUT NOT WIRED ..... AND THE OLD IS WIRED .. AND STILL WORKS .. BUT IT SPOUNS DIFFERENT .... THE BOX HAS TWO HOLES FOR EACH THE SUB TOTAL FOUR HOLES ..... I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM !!!!

  • @OBARRVAGOS Bandpass enclosures can be tricky in that they need to have the proper airspace and port/vent holes for the subwoofers mounted within. You’ll probably need to contact the original manufacturer to see if they can offer replacement subwoofers that will work properly in your pre-fab enclosure. • @crutchfieldtv OK COOL THANKS !!! :) YOUR THE GUY IN THE VIDEO RIGHT ?? LOL !!!

  • 1:21 open the damn door dumbass

  • Can a bandpass box fit into a ext truck? And another question should i get a bazooka or a regular cone sub?

  • @MrSmosh2 Pickups can be difficult as there is not a lot of cargo room for mounting an enclosure. If you don’t mind sacrificing your backseats you may be able to fit a bandpass enclosure there. I would get the dimensions of the enclosure you want and cross reference them against your available space. Bazooka vs. regular subwoofer is a matter of personal preference. • i was looking for a sub that could fit in an 82 el camino. i listen to alot of a day to remember and bring me the horizon. im looking to spend preferably under 200

  • @xXMADDOG467Xx There’s not a lot of subwoofers that will fit within your limited budget. Having said that, the Sound Ordnance B8PT offers great performance in a compact enclosure for a great price. You can find this model by typing the item number (777B8PT) into the search window on the Crutchfield website. You can also call us directly for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield

  • are the subs in the bandpass box dual audio subs? looks just like them because i have a pair of duals but with a different dust cap

  • I'm getting 2 10" Alpine SWS -1043D subs. What amp should I get?

  • i am thinking about getting 2 12" kickers. just like every other teenager. shold i get a 1000 wat pioneer amp?

  • @Cardshark128RS

It will depend on which 12" Kickers you decide to get. Some can handle up to 150 watts each, others can handle up to 750 watts each. The best thing to do would be to call us to discuss the system that would give you what you want.

Seriously, we are here to help with this kind of stuff. The number to call is 800 315 0030.

    Thanks for watching,
