@filmdumb It is indeed included on the Anthology. The PQ is great on both cuts of the film, but in all seriousness, just ignore the theatrical cut of Alien 3. The Assembly Cut is essentially David Finchers final cut before the studio shit all over it.

I tend to avoid Mr. Statham unless he's doing British films or smaller parts. Loved him in 'Bank Job' and 'London'. He also did a recent one called 'Blitz', which is supposed to be very good. The guy's got talent, but I think he would rather take the easy paycheck role. But hey, if someone paid me $20 million to spout one-liners and drive a BMW, I probably wouldn't turn it down, either. lol

Hey there, John. Watch the extended cut version of Alien 3 first before you see the theatrical. The bluray you have there contains both versions of the film. The extended cut is longer but it explains the story a bit better, fleshes it out a little more, and the pacing is done much better as well. You'll see what I mean when you eventually watch it. I have to agree with you on Cowboys and Aliens, so much wasted potential! I too been in a David Fincher caze, I have only Alien 3, Social Network and Benjamin Button. Saw Dragon Tattoo, fantastic flick! Since you haven't seen Alien 3 before, watch the extended cut first before seeing the theatrical cut as it's closer to Fincher's version and contains less plot holes than the original cut. =d
