I know the documentary is heart wrenching because it is difficult to watch children going through so much. I so sincerely appreciate the loving & compassionate person that you are.
I'm trying to be as diplomatic as possible, but it seems that only ppl of color live in such barren, desolate places where death is an everyday event...and the world closes it's eyes.
All forms of media contribute to the effects of blinding the society. They ONLY show the world more celebrities & all kinds of ridiculous "entertainment" that dumbs down pple, while children struggle to stay alive everywhere (even right here in the US).
As long as pple choose to stay complacent, the media will always dictate to them societal ideals and "morals" (that will have absolutely nothing 2 do with compassion & respect).
This is just so touching to me...really lost for words and tears came to my eyes...
