  • 2 People don't know what's for tea?

  • Brilliant! One of the best albums ever. Yet seldom mentioned in the pantheon. Oh, well. You know and I know.

  • i learned the meaning of 'tea' from Stephen and Judith, a lovely couple in Wrexham, north Wales. I really appreciate them because without that knowledge, I could never understand what this song means XD

  • best lyrics ever

  • Roger Daltrey is said to have caught pneumonia after sitting for a prolonged period in the bathtub, as the beans had been frozen

  • Sounds like Keith on the 1-2-3-4!!! countoff

  • @Stephanjnj It is :D

  • Roger got pneumonia from being in a bathtub with all those frozen beans... to think, a photo shoot gone horribly wrong almost costed us one of the greatest singers of all time.

  • @gapingmaw20 No he didn't; they were just cold from the refrigerator, so he got stomach cramps.

  • @NyeTunes phew...

  • amazing Album.

  • I read somewhere that these photos were taken in posh Chelsea, London in 1967. Boy i bet that they had some clearing up to do after this one...

  • Aparently Roger got hypothermia due to sitting in the beans

  • i'm confused, i need help,

was this album made as a joke or a protest??

    somone reply

  • Haha no, it is a concept album, formatted as a collection of unrelated songs interspersed with faux commercials and public service announcements. The album purports to be a broadcast by pirate radio station Radio London. Part of the intended irony of the title was that The Who were actually making commercials during that period of their career.

So, this is a "commercial" for Heinz Baked Beans!

  • i love this album

  • Excellent!!!!

  • tht is so funny lol..."more music more music" lol
