  • @destroya11

They didn't die for our safety.

They died so an oil executive could buy another Porche.

They shouldn't be invading other countries for oil. karma

  • aussie troops die from everything but combat lollllllll retards! the taliban is just another setup by the US! the US brought them into power and now they are at war with them? Just like the US brought Saddam in power and then they kill him? lollll you aussies are the most gullible people on this planet! The only reason countries go to war is for resources like oil and shit! stop blaming terrorism, anyone can make a bomb and blow themselves up, you don't need training to do it!

  • @miltonboo ahahaha! ur hilarious! Stop bombarding the soldiers and try to get ur facts straight. Who sent soldiers there u ignorant fuk? the government. Who put the government in power? the people. Blame urself that we're there u fukwit. Not anyone can blow themselves up. The US hav always been close friends of Australia, they aided us in our time of need and we aid them in time of need. So what you suggest? let the taliban take innocent life freely? Ur retarded, look up Australian KIA in war.

  • @miltonboo yeah man.. i mean who else are we gonna kill? theres not really any other country that nobody cares about except maybe africa... maybe they will be next

  • @lesdoyle2000 dude u got no clue wat ginger beers do, do u? do some research mate. Lol funny, u got no clue what we're doing there so you come up with stupid comments like "ur helpin the US steal oil" We don't give a shit about oil, we're fighting for the man beside us. We got sent there by our country, we do our jobs as soldiers, end of story. What have you done with your life keyboard warrior?

  • @Asha45623

He's still working on the 'ctrl' + 'alt' + 'delete' method. Maybe we should tell him he can just hover his cursor over "shut down" in the start menu and click.

  • @ECN019 I posted this a year ago. 18 CE Sqn 3 Combat Engineer Regiment (3CER) 3rd Brigade,Lavarack Barracks, Townsville After reviewing this video clip and speaking with 3CER Training Staff I am satisfied that all Exercises shown were undertaken by 22 Troop 3CER.It shows part of the Training received by these Sappers.

It's disappointing to see such a comment on the eve ANZAC Day

Five exceptional Combat Engineers have lost their lives in Afghanistan

    PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE COMMENTING FURTHER

  • Honest question, is that a person coming out of the plane?

  • When ever i see footage of our troops over seas doing what ever it is they are doing at that moment i never question why they are there or what they have to do to i just have an overwhelming feeling of pride in my nation and whenever i see one of our troops i shake his or her hand and thank them for there service and personally for my safety in this country...I believe we have to support our troops no matter what and good work lads and good luck in the future!!!

  • gulible ozzies faighting for a useless cause, the war against terrorism? lol listen to yourself you idiots! the real terrorists are australians! arming themselves with weapons and invading a third world country! AUSTRALIAN TERRORISTS DESERVE TO DIE! LOL

  • Ginger beers good to see you guys training hard love the video. Great work.

  • Army is a good life, must have compassion, caring and most of all a sense of humour.lot of women truck drivers.

  • Type PRIZE before youtube and hit enter

  • I remember at Kapooka, We started with 33 in our platoon and only 22 of us marched out in May 2001, the Army changed my Life, former 4CER Sapper Derek Pater.

Well Done guys, keep up the great work!

  • excellent video

  • keen as... going thru my enrolement process now. just gotts do physical and wait for full time to open back up for combat engineer...... and disreguard what yankeeprideful says. CE's in australia are highly trained soldiers in not only construction and demolition but also trained for front line as CE's are often first to make contact whilst clearing and or constructing a way to help move the rest of the troops forwards....

  • what ex was this?

  • Australian Army Aviation Tamworth woo!

  • @colingwood95 you tell him, that little shit. we don't go into peoples contrary's illegally and blow people up with c4 strap to us. and we don't go an kill thousands of our own people. and if boat people came to Australian waters we let them in and keep them in a camp where everything gets given to them but if boat people go into iran they get shot on the spot. miltonboo is a fuck face all what he can do is go on youtube and comment because he canot do shit all with the rest of his life.

  • Australia rapes!

  • How hard is the basic engineer course academically? Are all the tests 805 pass marks and is it mostly theory or is it alot of practical learning aswell?

  • Well produced video. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.

  • O FUCK HERE WE GO AGAIN EVERONE KNOWS EVERETHING GET SOME FUCKING TIM,E UP FUCK SORRY BECCY BUT I WARNED UUU THIS VID IS DE3AD

  • Be aware people, most of this stuff isn't engineers. Engineers build piss weak bridges, perform shitty dems jobs (when Assault Pioneers aren't available) and are pretty much incompetent at everything else. Armys divers are useless and are a waste of training. Can see engineers being disbanded very soon as there is nothing Assault pioneers can't do that these idiots are incapable of doing.

  • @Yankeeprideful MM PIONEER RIGHT HERE THEY ARE SHIT

  • @Yankeeprideful

all I remember was saving the Assault Pioneers in the Bush fires 2003, most had no idea, some were our equal but generally the Sapper's showed them how its done!

  • Assault Pioneers have better quals then these guys, surprised engineers still exist.

  • @Yankeeprideful You will find its the opposite, Pioneers are getting phased out just like Staff Sargents, CE will be utilised a bit more, or inf will take on more demo jobs

  • Hey everyone.. I am currently a student in yr 12, in the process to join the army. My preffrences are Combat Engineer and Electrician. Depending on which has the avalability i will be placed. Just looking for some more insight about the jobs.

we all love you here in nz.

fuck you sparky bet you do have a small 1 haha

  • aussie troops are so sexc. dont abuse them. love from newzealand

  • @colingwood95 probably the best shit ive ever herd

  • The Australian army is a very small army but highly trained. Will Australia ever change its BDU ? The camo pattern is very old and outdated i think . But thats what i think perhaps you all like it

  • going for my YOU session next week - so pumped!

  • this video trys o make austrlia make to rich and powerful EVEN argentina is richer and powerful

  • @mexiacn100boy HAha this bloke is trolling on every channel slaging australians, because he has a small penis.

  • @mexiacn100boy - Go back to your eternal siesta you wet back fool.

  • i have about 3 questions, sorry i'm planning on joining when i turn 20. alright first one, is it true that out of each platoon they get divided up into fire teams of about 4 or 5 people? second one, um does each fire team have its own sniper or are they all general combat personnel? last one, do you get like earplugs at all? for when you go out into the field? any help would be great, cheers

  • @phatGTO1 first the groupes depend on the situation at hand somethimes you have large teams other time you will have about 5 ppl. and as for snipers when you go into you infantry unit for about 2 years or so you may get the chance to go on a sniper course. you will be still a rifleman but you will be in the sniper cell so you will do both. and yes on the range you get ear plugs however on ops you wont. and another thing the minimum PFA says 15 push up at basic its 50 in 2 min make sure ya good

  • @HONORGUARD308 thanks heaps mate

  • @phatGTO1 anytime

  • @colingwood95 Theres no digger hating here mate, miltonboo is making a valid but poorly articulated point. You have responded with strawman thats based on presumption. Clearly; its you that should piss off, kid.

  • @miltonboo here we go again there;s another one on this channel.

    What a tool!

  • cant wait to go army

  • i heard that their is a huge queue if you want to be a combat engineer, is this true? Im considering going to adfa at the end of year 12 or taking a gap year. I dont know what officer job to go for, im considering combat engineer, aviation or armored cavilary, any suggestions? Tanks are nice, but so is blowing things up, but when you combine those two flying a superhornet would be incredible. Theres not enough info on the defencejobs website so some info from guys who have served would be great!

  • @bushpigification if you go piolet your contract is for 11 years so in my opinion fuck that, combat eng would be cool im infantry and its awesom i say go infantry

  • @HONORGUARD308 but who wouldnt want to fly one of the most advanced fighter jets in the world for less than 11 years? id fly one till i died xD

  • @bushpigification well then go AF, we are getting the F35s too maybe oneday youll get to fly them

  • @HONORGUARD308 I was aiming to join infantry, what's it like? i suppose you feel kinda safe having everyone in your team as your mate and you know they all have your back

  • 16 SQN 17 TPR WAS WAY BETTER THAN 18 SQN

  • I went to Lavarack Barracks. I'm in 134 ACU. Loved the WETS.

  • Good old Townsville, 1RAR and HighRange!!! haha great times fellas!

  • i applied for combat engineer i am 16 and 8 months old does any 1 hav any advice for me?

  • @XxCRAZYxFACExX Good luck, I am about your age but I will apply around 18 if I don't get into ADFA...I want to do Field intel

  • Booked my YOU session today, aiming for Combat Engineer.

  • tree huggers arnt gonna like 2:56 hah

  • @maw1011 FUCK TREE HUGGERS, THEY DO NOTHING PRODUCTIVE.

  • @maw1011 hahah beats chopping it down =p

  • 0:54, classic

  • Im doing an electrical apprenticeship, would joining as a combat engineer (reserve) be too much of an ask, as in, would I be overloaded? How often do you work, is it just once a week? I just thought it would compliment what i'm doing at the moment.

  • im joining as soon as im 17... getting out of wollongong... what a shithole.

  • Comment removed

  • @MegaDichotomy er did u read my comment some faces I could swear were 2 rar so my comment was fair from that perspective is it not? and obviously not for the whole vid of course they are engineers -alot of vids have mixed footage. maybe they were 2 rar and became sappers? I understand that if ur 3cer yould not like that comment if so when were u in etc may even know u - I have full respect for anyone in uniform. thats all I have to say on the matter.

  • Comment removed

  • POGUES at work. haha

  • there is something indescribable about being an australian combat engineer, all though im going to be in the reserves its seems these guys have a strong sense of pride and respect from what they do. i want that

  • Are the Combat Engineers the ones who disarm IED's, in Afghanistan? Are the Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians / Incident Response Regiment part of the Engineers?

  • Awesome video - being a Civil Engineer, I think its time to try the Army Reserve as a Combat Engineer - this video is inspirational!

  • @TheRevolution808 mate the best way into special forces is training, commitment and dedication. Everyone no matter what job they were in before go through the same selection process.

  • @0Skitz0 its just that itts better to have the skills of a combat engineer than a rifleman to get into commandos, thats what i have heard. for me its either combat engineering or a rifleman.

  • Comment removed

  • ive been told combat engineers is one of the best ways through to the special forces? i just need more than one guys opinion.

  • Kapooka, in 2 weeks, going in as a combat engineer! FUCK YEAH!

  • @1disc69fuck its been 7 months since you said you went to Kapooka so how was it?

  • what do the engineers actually take part in, i know that the infantry corp are usually frontlines or reconnaissance

  • @NarutoFireFox84 building bridges roads defences buildings, but like all defence personnel they are all trained in combat

  • @BrentWilliamson thanks mate, ive been throwin it up between infantry and engis, ive heard both of them have their pluses and minuses but uve given me another reason to join engineers

  • hay mate im looking at joining in a year or so, ya wouldnt happen to know the eyesight requirements?

  • they jst cover 1 eye at a time and go through a few pictures which have colour things 2 test if ur colour blind

  • im sure your did..

  • hope you get into the SASR but they say that the training is so intense that there might be 40 people trying out and only 2 left.

they also say that more casualties happen in SASR training then in combat situations.

    anyway WHO DARE WINS

  • thats not saying more SASR troops at least in Australia have died in drills then in combat.

  • thats cool! :D good luck with the SAS! i lived in AUS for 9 years and i loved it! lol but now i live in USA again. :/

  • Alucardthedeadone

what would you rather do, save about 8 trees or let egineers train and propbable go over to East Timor or somewhere and fight over there?

  • @Lewydrifts I believe we should not be in East Timor, Yeah our troop mean a lot to help them but all our government is after is to force them to give us there resources and give them nothing back.

  • wow you actually believe that shit...

  • Great video.. even though this just training it really shows me how f**king scary going into a live combat situation would be.

Glad I'm not doing it and that there are people who like that kind of thing enough to protect my butt and my daily freedoms.

  • Comment removed

  • @ScoutMarksman

You do understand that there are engineers on every sas patrol in afganistan, I wonder if the SAS blokes who you look up to so much call the engineers pouges as they are digging road side bombs out of the ground to clear the way to targets.
