Engineers build piss weak bridges, perform shitty dems jobs (when Assault Pioneers aren't available) and are pretty much incompetent at everything else. Armys divers are useless and are a waste of training. Can see engineers being disbanded very soon as there is nothing Assault pioneers can't do that these idiots are incapable of doing.
all I remember was saving the Assault Pioneers in the Bush fires 2003, most had no idea, some were our equal but generally the Sapper's showed them how its done!

@phatGTO1 first the groupes depend on the situation at hand somethimes you have large teams other time you will have about 5 ppl. and as for snipers when you go into you infantry unit for about 2 years or so you may get the chance to go on a sniper course. you will be still a rifleman but you will be in the sniper cell so you will do both. and yes on the range you get ear plugs however on ops you wont. and another thing the minimum PFA says 15 push up at basic its 50 in 2 min make sure ya good

every soilder MUST be capable of infantary combat, what do you think the engineers do when they finnish building bridges, or fixing tanks and aircraft? sit around wit tea and crumpets? no they go on patrol, protecting base etc etc along side other infantary soilders............

Im doing an electrical apprenticeship, would joining as a combat engineer (reserve) be too much of an ask, as in, would I be overloaded? How often do you work, is it just once a week? I just thought it would compliment what i'm doing at the moment.

@MegaDichotomy seen this vid a hundread times could be wrong but - was in 1 for 11 yrs and know a fair few guys in 3rd brigade - a few faces I swear are or were 2 rar Im not really a detective though . also last i remember and ive worked with 3 cer quite a few times they dont fire artillery pieces.any way what ever its a fucken good vid. For anyone interested i got footage of 3 CER blowing a ww2 bomb its in the front vid so ya dont have to look for it - yeah east timor 2003. Oh yeah not pogos

I understand that if ur 3cer yould not like that comment if so when were u in etc may even know u - I have full respect for anyone in uniform. thats all I have to say on the matter.

hope you get into the SASR but they say that the training is so intense that there might be 40 people trying out and only 2 left.
they also say that more casualties happen in SASR training then in combat situations.

every soilder MUST be capable of infantary combat, what do you think the engineers do when they finnish building bridges, or fixing tanks and aircraft? sit around wit tea and crumpets? no they go on patrol, protecting base etc etc along side other infantary soilders............

After reviewing this video clip and speaking with 3CER Training Staff.
I am satisfied that all Exercises shown were undertaken by 22 Troop 3CER.
