Do you have a build page, build sheet, or thread anywhere on the web, I've been considering this for quite some time and like to see what others have done.
so how does that work? you go to the store and buy veggie oil, or do you make it at home? because if you buy it, it seems like that would be more expensive than buying Diesel at the gas station. sexy beast by the way. =D
resturaunts will pay someone to get rid of it but if you want the oil they will just give it to you for free, yes its used grease from fryers, grills and you buy a kit/ filtration system to filter out like the hamburger or food junk in it. its like free gas!!
It is the 7.3, its mine. The 6.0 might be problematic, but Shawn Ellerton from alberta Canada is now the fastest super street diesel in the NHRDA. And his is a 6 leaker. 10.60 at 137 mph, the calculator puts him near 1200 whp. The 6 leaker can be a great motor if striped of all emissions and built with the proper rotating assm.
I have 40k on straight veggie (I own the truck in the video) and I just pulled the injectors to double their output. Other that regular wear it all looks brand new in there. The key is to have the oil very hot, which with the powerstroke its almost hard for it not to be hot, and purging well after every use.
Good stuff! Thats a great rig. The Excursions got to be the best SUV the big three's ever produced. Diesel Power mag's December issue name it in the top 10 most collectable diesels(issue arrived today).
Can u run it on diesel with the wvo kit if u run out of oil?

What kind of veggie oil kit did you used for the powerstroke?
BaerNae 3 years ago
Thats my truck. I made my own kit because Im shooting for 900 horse...... need alot more fuel than any kit out there could give me.

If it's not bio, it's not diesel!

its running straight vegg... I prefer to put the meth in my water injection.

Im assuming you treated the veggie oil to remove the glycerine right? Otherwise it will coke the engines internals and fuel system overtime.
