People, it is not a BOSS Mustang. The only thing that looks a tad ridiculous is the shaker scoop which was never used on any of the race cars. I think this creates some confusion with the previous BOSS models. As of 2010, the BOSS street car is on the way. For now, you can check out the 2010+ BOSS 302R race car.

Also, I applaud Saleen for grabbing this opportunity when Ford passed on building the 2009 BOSS Mustang. Information was leaked, but the car was never produced.

Not bad, but shadowing the S302 Extreme who could think twice about this car...eh, enthusiasts obviously.

I mean, true to tradition, hey, they did a great job. They even kept it N/A, which is tough to swallow for me, these days you wanna bolt an Eaton on that thing, but they did the right thing keeping it true to the '70 car. I hope it puts down at least 400whp, otherwise I'd be very disappointed.

Overall I like it, but it's an enthusiast car, my money would have to be on the S302 Extreme

no its actually a 4.9L you never heard of it because Ford has an Ego with GM, for instance GM came out with a 5.3 327, Ford got the 5.4 330, and GM came out with a 5.7 350 and Ford came out with a 5.8 35ONE!!!! it's quite histaricle, and of course the 5.0 305, and the 302 5.0 (but sinse they couldn't beat it they had to match it so actually as i previously said it's a 4.9L google it

I saw this car when it first came out, in person, on the streets. Yes, one on one, not a car show, not a dealership, but the real deal. Let me tell you, it is one bad ass car. The sound is unmatched, along with the looks.

I believe the owner told me (don't quote me) there were only 450 put out to the public. 500 were made, Saleen got 25, Parnelli got 25. So if you ever have the chance to see one of these beautiful machines, take it all in the best that you can.

It is an awesome car! I own #119 out of 500 and it feels like I'm driving in a cockpit of a fighter jet. I'll try to get some pictures up. My Ford dealer Mr. Gull in Conroe, TX bought number 500 and another number. I've only seen mine in person and heard one guy at a car show say that he has one. Mine is garaged and only has 2k miles on it. The leather still smells new! Hoping to make some money on it one day.

They tune Mustangs. They basically take everything Ford, even F150s and soup them up. The only thing they really ever made was a Saleen S7 and it had a Ford 427 in it. Saleen does good stuff.
