I noticed you use two types of barre chords, one utilizing the thumb and the standard first finger barre. Why the change?

@buzzfuzz146 If I have to suspend the chord, I can't use my pinky to barre across, so I use my ring finger instead.

@Jethro494 Never seen other pix of him playing the V onstage, but do a Google image search for keith richards flying v and you'll see some shots of Keith playing it at Nellcote in '71 -- and even a couple pix of Mick J playing it!

1 am a 62 yr old rocker saw the stones back in 69 at boston garden.i have always loved this version . whenever i play this song, using the same chord progression as you do , i just can not seem to get it to sound like the recording, do you tune your guitar slightly off tune. keep up the good work thank you

@69nisab Yeah, it's not exactly what you could call a true "live" album, but what they ended up with is a great rock record. Believe it or not, Carol is my favorite thing on it.

@privettricker try and find the bootleg 'live'r than you'll ever be' it was recorded just before ya ya's, but still on the US 69 tour. no overdubs just the stones
