What a fucking amazing band. I love all grunge music but I have to admit Soundgarden is probably the most diverse. They started out as a pseudo-psychedelic metal/punk band, and with each album they changed the flow of their style without losing that kick-ass sound. I can't believe Chris STILL sounds like that!

Foo Fighters are mainstream and watered down to an audience that will swallow anything that is in the top ten, no matter how bad it is. There are a few good ones out there yet like Seether (although they're overplayed), Middle Class Rut, Godsmack and Cavo's got a pretty cool song called "Champagne."

But a lot of the new stuff just sucks.
