great job Joseph. to answer your question, i use a cheep cannon 50mm 1.8 and the kit lens that came with my 7D. other users hate the kit lens but i've been able to make it work for me. adjusting levels in post can remove lots of grain. the secret is in the grays or mid-tones. "Bump" was the first thing i ever shot with it. it was experimental all the way. i've gotten much better results since.

What editing programme are you using and just how advanced do you need to be to reproduce something even half as good? Great work, no doubt.
