  • if they bump a pedestrian in china on a crossing, would it be the pedestrians fault or the drivers? i know in England its the drivers fault but is that different in China?

apparently the craziness of crossing streets is not unusual in most Chinese cities

I went to China last year, to Lanzhou. And I was like: "WTF is going on?!?!"

Everytime I cross the major intersection, it feels like playing with russian roulette.

Looks like Google translate doesn't work so good. What I meant to say in the last few posts is that we were enjoying the city of Lanzhou, really liked the people, and were having a great time. Apparently you are the opposite of all the wonderful people we did meet, which is a shame. Good luck with your your unkind and lousy attitude!

  • Do you see us mingling with traffic like the Chinese? Yes. Do you see panic or fear? No. Do you see smiles? Yes. Do you hear laughter and casual conversation? Yes.

I thought I'd answer these questions for you, since your comments clearly don't match the video. We had a fantastic time in China, and traveled the country extensively.

And the Chinese people couldn't be more hospitable & beautiful. It wasn't till your ridiculous comments that we encountered anything approaching rudeness.

  • @askaskandy right

  • 一群没见过世面的外国傻逼

  • The traffic laws do exist, there is no enforcement though. Many of the major cities in China are starting to enforce the traffic laws such as Harbin and Beijing. I suppose they are appeasing the "polite weak submissive" folk though. Lanzhou will always be a pit. You smoke the equivalent of three packs of cigarettes a day just walking around the city breathing. Who needs community traffic enforcement when we are all so "strong" and "agressive" at driving and walking?

  • not that crazy, try Egypt or Paraguay

  • quite a nice City~~

  • Ha ha, yes, it's true.

  • haha that's because you want to be "polite" and "submissive" like the japanese, you are useless, I'm embarrased the fact that i'm in the same nationality as you are

  • Hahahaha!

i m chinese ,Lanzhou, local!you are near my home!

  • haha,, i m sure you will have a great experience in china ,,threr is no traffic rules in china if you compare with US,,,,lol,,i m chinese
