it is a pet peeve of mine when people hold the flag backwards, rest in peace

@A10fighter95 Not sure if you know this,or even if the people meant to do it for this reason,but have you ever noticed that on many uniforms of cops,firefighters,soldiers the flag is almost always backwards?The reason for this is that the flag is depicted this way as being carried into battle,advancing towards danger,never retreating,so its very possible they hold it backwards for a reason.

That is right, the flag is 'backwards' because we never retreat, it's like that on purpose. I am a Firefighter and the uniform director for my dept.

I don't know what was said, but by the reaction put forth by my brother firefighters to that comment, but BryanAllaire123, you need to grow some common sense. Whether it be Servicemen / servicewomen, Police Officers, Medics or Firefighters they all deserve the highest respect when they die while serving thier country. I would suggest if you wish to post anything further that you think hard before doing so.
