No, the blue lidded bins are garden/green waste and the yellow bins are split bins, left side for garbage, right side for recycables and the yellow lidded bins are emptyed by the MJE DART.
It's exactly the same cab!!! The IVECO ACCO 2350g and the International ACCO 2350g are exactly the same trucks. IVECO bought the International ACCO 2350g design and added a different engine - the Cummins ISC is on IVECO ACCO's and the Cummins 240 or 250 as in here are on the International ACCO's. When these trucks were bought, the IVECO ACCO was not around until a few years later.
Yer I've seen these trucsk around my region - there are a fair few... drivers tell me that they don't like the low entry chassis' for a variety of reasons... one is that if it's raining, because they door is open you don't stand much of a chance being dry if you know what I mean! So that sucks, though I suppose an advantage would be making it easier getting out/in the cab as you said!
I just realised that SMS only has low entry cab-chassis'! Personally, I prefer the normal ones! You should see all the new Raptors they have in coffs harbour and willoughby down here in NSW! Got pics, but no vids! Their trucks are pretty old in Wyong, too - though they do work very efficiently!
Yeah the SMS trucks in Wyong Shire with the International Acco chassis and a Cummins 250 Automatic engine are my favourite truck. The door is stowed open on a rail so that is easy to get out and pick up any spilt rubbish. When they empty the bins they are actually standing. Its really cool. Plenty more of these pictures and video's to come.
When I say standing I mean in the truck they don't sit they just lean on the half seat that they have. But these trucks are in really good condition. They would be at least 5 or 6 years old, and they start to look old more quickley form the salt spray because my grandad lives on the lake and the sutherlies he gets blow the salt spray onto the trucks. Even though they are stainless steel bodies the paint can start to peel off from the salt. But they can go very fast on their routes.

Yeah it is a problem but I prefer the low entry chassis because you can see them controling the joystick and see whats in the cab.
