Daniel Is a power drummer,, 90% of what he does is Visual..he keeps his chops simple, and Timed well, with a little bit of Double Kick Pedal in there:) Put all that in combination, and it looks and sounds amazing..however most drummers after about 5 years can play like him:) this is not an insult, but it IS coming from a 25-year veteran drummer/percussionist:) either way. I do like Daniel's showboating on the kit:) It's entertaining. Niel Pert, Carter Beauford, etc. THOSE are GREAT drummers.

My comment was not intended to belittle Daniel's Drumming style, or skill by any means:) It was just a general comparison.:) I will add that if you listen to the back-beat of ALL Nickelback songs.. there is NOT alot of technicality behind it.. it's why it's so popular. people like simple music..thump thump thump, 2, 3, 4, a small Kick-drum flam here and there, a cymbal crash here and there...that's about it.:) lol
