  • Are these colors enhanced or messed with in any way?

  • Europe seems quite boring for alien planet-photographers...

  • When he said select a location I thought I could pick a country ;[ Trollers!

  • I don't think there is anyone on earth who could say, "on the border of the Taklamakan Desert" quite like Dick Rodstein.

  • with the sound off this video is even more beautiful

  • OMG OMG OMG

  • What about Canada? :(

  • @vinay0429 lol... canada.

  • @vinay0429 What about Zoidberg?

  • Yay for the netherlands :D

  • I can see my house from here!

  • 0:10 Haters gonna hate.

  • omg he read my mind... I picked australia

  • yo mamas so fat when she goes for a shower the water doesnt reach her feet.

  • We meet again 360p.....

  • It comes into mind what can we do for our own planet.

  • thumbs up if you thought the thumbnail image was a fractal

  • Reminds me of Don't Panic by Coldplay

  • 0:55 no no no no, i didnt say Australia

    lmao :D

  • very professional narrator! great and very interesting!

  • these aren't real colors, im guessing.

  • @rramosbaez

    What's a fake color?

  • Id prefer the real colors, not these fake ones.

  • I can see the Earth in a better resolution than 1080p (steps outside)

  • Beautiful images. But spoiled by completely inappropriate music and commentary that seems to treat the listeners as if they were stupid, with the narrator frequently mispronouncing country and other names. Shame.

  • Shit just doesnt look real :|, but I find it rather a good thing. Gives me more hope for this planet than what we're doing to it.

  • Whats with the dodgy music?

  • the music is magnificent!

  • "Lake Disappointment" ...wow...we humans are incredibly arrogant.

  • Amazingly beautiful!! We should give more value to the planet we have... a gift that was given to us and that we aren't taking care of, to a desastreous degree...

  • Great stuff! :-)

  • What a beautiful planet... I'll really have to visit it some day.

  • This shit is so beautiful I cant even understand what he's saying...

  • @Xxero0

    lol

  • @Xxero0 Me too, I didn't understand anything. I cried. How are we destroying our planet. :'(

  • 10 people didn't watch this in 1080p!

  • and ''NOW'' I'm off to sleep :-)

  • most of the pictures seems to have "real" colors or at least pertinent but at 5:16 the pink looks really strange.... what do you think is that (flowers...?) (flamingos!?) ( ...)

  • @zzztano1zz

I guess that's an infrared photography, to make vegetaion and biological activity visible. But I'm not sure.

However, this picture is surely in false colors.

  • Moon landing was suss even before 911 - now we all know about that and previous false flag ops (operation northwoods, gulf of tonkin - all BEFORE the Apollo missions) - we all know the depths of deception the government will stoop to - next to terrorist inside-jobs - the moon hoax is like a harmless fairytale!

  • 30+ years later they are still screwing up Space Shuttle missions (Columbia) which merely launches and orbits just 150 miles up, yet they expect us to believe Appollo launched, travelled 300,000 miles, then orbited the moon and dropped a relaunchable module from it then launched from the moon with no launch platform and docked with an orbiting module then re-entered Earth's atmosphere safely? (And took a giant dirt buggy along too).

    Laughable!

  • LOL ! Very coooool maaan !

They should call this channel SpaceTRIP :D !

I come here a lot when i want to take a trip ;)

  • why is there always dislikes? I don't see what is so bad.

  • Brilliant and beautiful video.

  • why would anyone want to leave earth in search of another planet ?

  • @segrum At the rate at which the human race is expanding and using earths resources, searching for another planet to colonize would be a tremendous feat for humans.

  • @crazymcfobo only for the so called elite who tried to govern this planet and failed will do the same on another planet...let them be the first to go...then maybe the surfs left behind will have a better chance to get along in our NWO.

  • @segrum many reasons.... resources,over population,radiocative warfare etc...

our future is not in this planet, but colonozing around our local cluster for the next 500 years, then we might expand over the galaxy over the next 1000 years.

call it science fiction, but there was a time where people thought the earth was flat and the moon made of cheese.

    do more research on cosmology

  • @Raznangriz Do more research on REALITY. If We can't work with what we got we don't deserve any more. If it doesn't work someplace else there will be no place to come back to. Just wandering outer-space never to call anyplace home. Now check the space between your ears and make sure you have a decent someplace to get back to. It's great to explore it's a human trait, but damn think about it first before you blast off.

  • @segrum do YOU make any positive contribution sir? i recycle,i have a EL car,i try to do somethin even if its a small scale. i believe you are speakin for your selv sir,im a big astronomy fan and i planned to study planetary sciences,if you dont like being criticised then you shouldnt post your narrowed mind theories on the internet. Dont worry, minds like yours should stay here, while those who think out of the box can make a difference, good luck homo sapiens(hope you know what that means...)

  • @Raznangriz well I do hope you have a safe trip spaceman, but until you leave remember, the next power plant to be developed, to explore space is using mind power, being capable to exceed the speed of light and until our minds have improved in our near future (present company excluded) you might as well keep up your good work on earth as the re cycler, and remain to be a good example of " a big astronomy fan", blowing in the wind...lol

  • @Raznangriz where's my space-cadet?

  • The 9 people who disliked this want Earth to be destroyed.

  • Magnificent creation and men is destroying it !!!!

  • @lydiaappelmans1953

your right. we're a cancer to this planet

  • @playsafe869 more like a fever that shell eventully get over

  • @robbanphille

Your right, the time will come when were all gone and the world shall be as before the way it should be. Healthy and full of natural life a natural equilibrium were no being will change the face of the earth and pollute its air and change the climate that will endanger us all. Were not the only living things on Earth. To me it seems pretty selfish. As much as I love living and having the things we all can take for granted I love the earth more, it deserves to bloom again.

  • @playsafe869 You describe the earth as it is today. All beings change the face of the earth and many beings even kill other animals for food and deplete resources. Don't be so silly and faux pastoral.

  • @ALTERED13TH

how many other animals burn coal and oil? and build nuclear plants then rip out trees and natural habitats for animals so that we can have a nice wooden footstools. Your the silly one. Silly

  • @playsafe869 Suburbanites are the cause of all the environmental issues because they live in the middle of nowhere, have to drive everywhere and think Olive Garden is good food. Don't worry about the planet. Global warming is bullshit.

  • @ALTERED13TH

Maybe my friend, but even if it's a load of shit, we will only nuke ourselves further down the line and ruin what beauty we have left on the planet. War and greed is a man made idea. Animals kill for food and survival. That's my only point. We are the poison in the water :) ... just my opinion

  • @playsafe869 An ill informed opinion which is like a butt hole in that everybody has one. Animals have been documented to kill for sport or practice, greed is primate behavior and non primates practice it as well. Death and destruction are most often caused by natural disasters or when human caused have been historically from left wing, collectivist radicals like Mao, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler and other spawn like Pol Pot, Castro, and Chavez.

  • @ALTERED13TH

No animal will have the concept of good and evil like a human will, all those people are aware of their choices and the possible outcomes of their choices. Hitler for example hated the jews for his personal reasons, he wouldn't be a right mind if he thought what he was doing was "good" An animal will like you said train them selves by practising there hunting skills or to become dominant for mating reasons. I am not ill informed just because you think your right. Thats your opinion

  • Just like an ass hole :)

  • @playsafe869 You are ill informed. World wide the human population has increased dramatically. With this increase average life expectancy and standards of living have increased too.In the U.S. our air and water quality have improved.. Humans are just another species of animal on this planet and by and large most are good stewards. Suburbs are bad for the environment though. The only nukes ever launched were to end WWII when the left wing, radical collectivists tried to take over the world.

  • @ALTERED13TH

No.. I'm not. What ever you say though right. End it here :)

  • @lydiaappelmans1953 will all be dead in 2030 with all this gas where using to kill us and the earth

  • @lydiaappelmans1953 why dont you start with your final solution at yourself. Smith and Wesson is your friend.

  • @lydiaappelmans1953 hey and women not just men

  • @lydiaappelmans1953 That was exactly what I was thinking halfway through the video.. if we do not overcome ourselves and our destructive & insensible means, if we let our governments and greedy corporations do what they do, we will end up with a wasteland rock sooner or later. We will be murdering for crumbs of food, pillaging for handfuls of water. We will see the worst 'intelligent' life has to offer when we are left with little to nothing. When everything is gone, anything goes.

  • Do you realize how much more often I would get laid if i had this voice? :P This dood probably gets a load of tail just talking to chicks lol!

    Spacerip, excellent vids as always!!

  • 2:43 I thought those were veins!

  • Does it matter what countries are included or not? This is not a list of what's worth seeing and what's worth skipping. It's just a bunch of pretty pictures - lighten up!

And if the colors are intensified, great. They're supposed to be pretty and abstract, not military intelligence.

Relax, goddamit!.It's not worth fighting over.

  • @Sardanapalus96 So I'm guessing the US wasn't mentioned (either than Alaska) because they merely have a population of 308 million people. And why was alaska mentioned then? That state barely has 710 thousand...

  • are those colours artificial?

  • Canada? What happened to the U.S.? We have mountains forests and deserts too!

But, still all of it is part of the planet I live and breathe on! It was truly beautiful!

  • @early60srcool I'm pretty sure the Mississippi river basin is in the U S of A ...Alaska too!

  • Surely some of them colours have been modified they looked way too jazzy

  • @petersrolo I agree!

  • Can you see a dog 3:37 ?

  • were all those pictured made with special satellite cameras or do they really look that f***ing beautiful...?

  • 666 likes? It's the work of the devil!!

  • just about everyone of those pictures were falsed colored....if not all of them. Earth is an extremely beautiful place but i don't understand why u chose such crap pictures...

  • nature is a magician

  • Oh sure, Don't even talk about most of North America. Thumbs down just for that... then again there was some amazing facts... withdraw of thumbs down but very displeased... >: \

  • @Sardanapalus96

Russia was mentioned. Go drink more wodka.

  • pretty cool

  • Nobody gives a shit about Canada

  • @Mat397 you must be an american

  • @Mat397 fuck you asshole

  • @Mat397 plenty of people care about Canada ...including you since you obviously typed "Canada" ...your comment is the evidence ...it is also the exact measure of your thinking

  • Im sure if even Jesus was watching this video he would be sick of the religous arguemnts. Probably just wants to watch something cool

  • Subhaan Allah

  • i love brandberg and the Ugab river. Been there few weeks ago

  • If you want to see this in 1080p, you must put it on pause and walk away from your computer for about 2 hours, then watch it.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Lol, i don't know what kind of internet connection you have, but i downloaded the 1080p version of the video with speeds between 2mb/second and 400kb/s.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist

or you can get a proper internet connection

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Or, you can get better internet and just stream it live like i do :D

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist u must have the worst internet connection ever

  • @teebeeman I think I do.............twenty minutes waiting for this to load.Pain in the nuts.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist make that 3!

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist unless you have charter!

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist you must have pretty crappy internet, i just wait about 2 seconds and i can watch it in 1080p

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist The funny thing is that my computer can download it so fast I don't even have to pause it, but the CPU is such an ancient piece of metal that it just can't draw the frames quickly enough. So I stayed at 720p.

  • @MPeti02 cpu is made of silicon ;p

  • looks like paintings

  • "Go north again, to the golf of mexico, where you can actually see the color of the sea under this giant oil spill..."

  • i subscribed!

  • AUSTRALIA REPPIN'

  • I think, that "real" photos of the places showed in the video would be awesome, just to compare! :P

  • Amazing :)

  • 0:16 - moon landing is fake - i watched this vid in 1080p and still couldn't see a single star in the pitch black sky - a sky with no atmospheric scatrtering of light should have shown hubble-like clarity of the surrounding galaxy.

  • @BiggerThinking1 The surface of the moon is brightly lit by the sunlight, even brighter than on earth due to the lack of atmosphere. Look at something brightly lit for a while, and then look out through your window at night. How much detail can you make out, even out of a familiar location?

Both the human eye and cameras must adjust the amount of light let in or the image will be of unusable quality. When something very bright is in-frame, no camera in the world can see a sky full of stars.

  • @BobSalawalatski I bet a telescope with a camera could ;-)

  • @mrlips007 no it cant... it is physically impossible because of the saturation

  • @BobSalawalatski Inconsistent standards - you say the sun's light is brighter on the moon because there is no air to scatter the light - but then ignore that would also allow stars' lights to be equally brighter. If you can see venous and Jupiter on Earth after the sun comes up - then we should be able to see at least some planets here, with all the footage they supposedly have.

  • @BiggerThinking1 >but then ignore that would also allow stars' lights to be equally brighter

Yes, the stars are indeed equally brighter. But the camera's exposure must also be shorter to compensate for the extra brightness of the moon's surface. If the exposure time was long enough to see stars with the moon's surface still in the picture, the surface would be a solid white blur with no details whatsoever.

  • Then there's the myriad other flaws in the moon landing story

    1. the footage of the moon take off is a joke - its like D-grade special effects from a cheap budget sci-fi movie - and there's no scaettering of surface powder - total shit!

    2. non-parallel shadows show multiple light sources (stage lights) not a single distant source. And why is the sun never in the FOREGROUND - always perfectly back lit! - total shit!

  • @BiggerThinking1 Watch the videos from space station. No stars either.

    P.S. go back to school.

  • @BiggerThinking1 : Explain the Lunar Laser Ranging experiment, pls

  • @BiggerThinking1 The did the moon landings in daytime (meaning the Sun is predominant). Day lasts fourteen days or so on the moon. How many stars can you see in daytime on Earth? If you think there is a great difference between day on Earth and day on the Moon, please explain in detail why you think so.

  • @alachabre If you can see Venus and Jupiter on Earth after the sun rises - then we should at least be able to see at least some planets in the moon footage, with all the footage they supposedly have.

Also - how convenient that the sun is never in the FOREGROUND in the moon video - always perfectly back lit! - total shit! (and the shadows aren't parallel LOL) - its obviously stage lighting!

  • @BiggerThinking1 There is a picture taken during one of the moon missions, on the surface, that caught the planet Venus. The conspiracy crowd leaped on it, claiming it was a fake (of course), proven by the fact that Venus was in the wrong spot. Better analysis shows it is right where it should be. If you took a picture with the sun in the foreground, you would have a totally washed out image with no detail of anything. Multiple light sources produce multiple shadows, not non-parallel shadows.

  • @Mustafo95 Did an alien hop off his spaceship to tell you that I was wrong? Wait till an alien probe you, then I'll believe we are not alone.

  • Nice video. Always interesting to see Earth from space...

But surely those places look just as great in their natural colors?

  • beautiful video in HD.

some nice opportunities for desktop wallpapers =)

  • We are on the only planet in the whole universe that has life.

  • @shoa31 Interesting hypothesis.

  • @TheAxlSnaks I wrote the comment in hope that an alien might come down to earth to tell me that I was wrong. But I think that we are the most advanced civilization and we are the ones going to be landing on their planets.

  • @shoa31 You are biased :)

  • @TheAxlSnaks What do I know. What I know came from hearing and reading from others.

  • @shoa31 We surely will not be landing on alien populated planets... but maybe our future successors will... maybe... I say this because in the state of our actual technology reaching a near planet it is very hard and would take several years, don't want to talk about those which might be populated... First we would have to solve the mystery of the infinite word. ;)

  • @shoa31 you sure?

  • @zCopyCatz Right as I sit in front of YouTube after finnishing off another "Astronomy" magazine, I'm quite sure. Where are the tourist from outer space or from the future with their time machines?

  • @shoa31 We could quite possibly be the most advanced civilization in the universe, but I don't think we are the only one, that seems crazy to me.

  • @olit1234 If there is life on earth, then the probability of having another in this mega universe is very likely. Our mission right now is to gain real estate on other habitable planets. We are about 3 thousand years behind schedule. We better find a new home before our sun goes red giant.

  • @shoa31 I think we have quite a while until the sun goes supernova mate, but we shouldn't keep it out of our minds completely, since moving to another inhabitable planet is really the ultimate goal right?

  • @olit1234 Having another planet where we could give it genesis is the right thing to do. The lonely planets out there are waiting for us to germinate it. It's why we were here, out of necessity. Nothing to do with religion, mind you.

  • beautiful... keep these videos coming.

  • It's great but it would be better if there were some photos or videos taken not from satellite to show why do those places have so strange colors...

  • btw deMithyX i agree we have harmed our earth. To the point of everyone revolting right along with the planet! We have to change the errors made. FIND SOLUTIONS! TAKE BOLD ACTION! Hopefully not too late.

  • this video can cause epilepsy

and is this the guy that have THE GOLDEN VOICE

  • We should all appreciate mother nature. The narrators voice was pleasant in my opinion. I enjoyed the view.

  • Actually Mr. Rodstein wasn't this serene before. He is doing a serene tone to fit the music and it is ok.

  • I cant understand that 7 people who do not like that video!

  • We have a beautiful planet, don't we?

  • @Vickiealfonso and we r screwing it up =\

  • @Vickiealfonso I think that is a ritualistic statement, and illogical when it comes to multiple planets and races.

  • Jesus, the narrators voice is orgasmic. More like SPACEGASMIC!

  • Fucking narrator's name is DICK RODSTEIN. EPIC.

  • I love how all of SpaceRip videos get so many more likes than dislikes

  • anyone else see a baby stegosaurus face here at 2:35?

  • Fractals, everywhere!

  • SpaceRip you once again bring art to science on youtube :D

  • |-ly incredible|

  • Say it with me doucher, it's three bloody syllables; ka-nə-də.

Screw it, I'm going to drink some spring water and take a walk in the boreal forest that happens to be in my back yard and enjoy the ample streams and animal diversity that Halliburton HAVEN'T been sold exclusive rights to.

  • @GeneticIdentity101 IDK how to pronounce upside-down 'e'

  • @GeneticIdentity101 reeally? fuck canada?...im canadian aswell and i think that u shouldnt be saying.."fuck canada"....unless ur being sarcastic...then ok...but yeah...canada is awsome...O.o

  • @DjGrimmace Without Canada, there would be no 'Ghostbusters'... and thats not a world I want to live in.

  • @DjGrimmace don't you mean "The Mystical Land of Canadia"?

  • @mitra32203 O.o? mystical?

  • C-A-N-A-D-A... it's that 2nd largest land in the world with a gigantically, unimaginably huge forest called the Boreal forest.. and one of the most important mineral deposits in the Cambrian shield, with almost 900 000 km^2 of lakes... and over 30 000 lakes larger than 3 km^2... so many lakes exist in fact, that we haven't even counted all of them yet.

But of course, fuck Canada. It's just a land mass that seems to be annoyingly attached to Alaska.
