There's no question that they are out of touch with reality. I suppose that when they deal with billions of dollars every day they can't wrap their minds around hundreds or thousands.
@conspiracy777 Hi Conspiracy. In defense of all of us, there was some confusion here. The rooms that the congressfolks slept in were $300 per night, but they also rented three parlor suites at $1500 per night. So everyone was a bit wrong...and a bit right. Like I said, some of this was inexcusable.
