I love these speedruns. I watched all of them, and it's just amazing; back in the day, when I played this game, and rarely anyone had internet, let alone way to capture this on PC, I loved TR2, and never even thought about trying glitches; maybe because I didn't know what glitches were back then XD

Quick question though. What exactly did you do that makes the snow leopards not spawn in the area with the rolling snowballs? It doesn't look like you did anything unusual.

I believe the spots for where they spawn are to the left and right of where the snowballs come down. So I ran right toward the snowballs so I didn't have to spawn them.

Not that there IS anything wrong with cheating, don't get my wrong. It can be fun. Just saying I DO consider exploiting bugs and glitches to be cheating. But whatever. we could argue about this all day... :p

I use the corner bug in Venice so I don't have to climb the ladders. Venice is my fav level throughout the whole game and I always use the corner bug! come in useful very much don't they?!

walk once and then run jump almost at the same time. for the dive bug, its very very hard. Basically just try to line up like I did and run-jump and dive, keep trying and eventually Lara should survive the fall.

Yes when you finish the game (secrets or not) you should have infinite ammo on the start of a new game.

Corner bug onto the slope to skip the ladder, then a backflip, then a backflip-roll meaning you press the roll button immediately after backflipping and Lara will turn in mid-air.

i have been trying the elevator glitch for over an hour now. i dont understand what im not doing that you did. :(

yea took me a while to do it, but basically try and face Lara like i have at 1:49..jump twice and press up (like your running forward). somehow Lara will end up on the roof. If you keep jumping she'll just hit the wall and fall to her death so stop after like 2 jumps and press up. keep trying that and eventually you'll get it :)

lol, well my video is a speedrun which means i just fly through the level and its probably hard for viewers to figure how i do all the tricks. I just put a link for you in the video description (click more and copy&paste link) its done by rrcarroll252 and it does a better job of showing how to do the trick. he does alot of glitch videos for tomb raider. hope that helps!

just a question: when attempting it, do i press foward as i press jump or right after? there must be a trick to this because i keep falling even if i stop jumping and press forward. im going nuts, im about to just do it the long way.

press forward after jumping. try to get her in the position i have (about a 45 degree angle with the corner of that doorway). after jumping straight up once or twice, you should notice Lara is sorta gettin 'sucked' into the wall so as soon as you notice that, stop jumping and just run forward into the wall. It's frustrating i know, but its a huge shortcut since it skips like 80% of the level.

don't worry man, the glitches are real. I don't use any editing in my videos. The glitch at :25 is called a corner bug, once you get Lara 'stuck' in the wall press the roll button and she'll drop to the slope. The one at the end is an imbed corner bug. once Lara is halfway in the wall press up and she'll somehow end up at the roof where you can jump to the exit area skipping 75% of the level.

lol, nah i've just been playing tomb raider for years. TR2 is the first game that I owned so I've played this one the most. There are other speedrunners that are better than me. youtube doesn't allow comment links but do a google search for "Tomb Runner" its a TR speedrunning site. As far as the new one, I haven't beaten it yet, I have the PC version but I'm also getting the wii version when it comes out in fall.
