  • Thank you so much for your patience! Even though you know what you are doing very well, you still teach in a way that is easy to understand, and you don't rush.

  • Thank you so much for posting this video on how to read these. I learned how to crochet when I was a little girl and my mother showed me how to figure out projects by looking at them. This can get hard at times if it's something complicated like this little toy. I enjoyed this video. Great nails. Great voice. Great teacher. Thank you again!!!!

  • This video is amazing!! you are such a good teacher!!! so thorough!!

  • WoW Thank you so much! You have helped me TONS!!! Thank you so much for these video's! I am very thankful!

  • in the very beginning when it says "2 sc and sc in next 2 sts for 24", does doing that step once equal 3 sts out of the 24 we need to do? or does the "2 sc in next st" count as 2?

Because when I finished the 4th round, I ended up a few ahead of my marker, and it looked like yours ended right where your marker had begun.

Thanks for the video and your time!!

  • Thanks for the detailed explanation!

  • @meimoirs hi :) do you know if she inserted the hook through two loops or just the front loop because i am still confused about that. mine looks different from hers.

  • Thanks for your detailed explanations! I especially like your non-shaky camera movements and close-up of the stitches. Your video has been very helpful!

  • I am making this very same giraffe! I like your horns. Mine don't look so good because of where I had to change the colors. The stitch looks much too open and you can see the stuffing. I might change it to make the horns all one color. Thank you so much for this video. I wish I had seen your video before I started. I started crocheting through the back loops only and it was a hot mess. I ended up with something that looked like either a big yellow bowling pin. Doing that part over.

  • So you are keeping the marker in the same row of stitches.. just moving it up, each time?

  • you rock my world, thanks for making such great video that I can understand.!!!

  • I had an "Aha!" moment. Thanks very much, your commentary is very patient and measured. So useful!

  • @petegiddens Woohoooo! It's opens a whole new world when you learn to read patterns :-)
